Ryan Flournoy
Ryan Flournoy Scores first career touchdown
Wed, Nov 5, 2025, 10:38 AM
Flournoy caught both of his targets for 12 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 27-17 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: Flournoy's touchdown was his first of the season and the first of his career. The second-year wideout played 45 of the Cowboys' 67 offensive snaps, operating as the No. 3 wide receiver behind both CeeDee Lamb (59) and George Pickens (61). Though Flournoy's 69 percent snap share matched a season high, his target share still left much to be desired. Since Lamb returned to action in Week 7, the 26-year-old Flournoy has failed to see more than two targets in a contest. With such limited usage, the Southeast Missouri State product should remain off the fantasy radar as Dallas heads into their Week 10 bye. Next up for the Cowboys is a road matchup against the Raiders in Week 11.
KaVontae Turpin
KaVontae Turpin Gains 13 total yards on offense
Wed, Nov 5, 2025, 8:28 AM
Turpin caught two of three targets for 10 yards and rushed once for three yards in Monday's 27-17 loss to the Cardinals. He added 151 kickoff return yards and six punt return yards.
Analysis: Turpin continued to have a minimal impact on offense Monday, doing most of his damage on kickoff returns. The fourth-year wideout is not involved enough in the Cowboys' offensive plans to garner much fantasy attention, but with Monday's performance on special teams, the TCU product is now fourth in the NFL with 722 kickoff return yards. Turpin will remain extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes as the Cowboys head into their Week 10 bye before a matchup against the Raiders in Week 11.
Jalen Tolbert
Jalen Tolbert Not targeted in loss
Wed, Nov 5, 2025, 8:11 AM
Tolbert failed to record a single target in Monday's 27-17 loss to the Cardinals.
Analysis: Tolbert was a complete nonfactor in Monday's loss to Arizona. The fourth-year wideout played just seven of the Cowboys' 67 offensive snaps in the contest, the least of any wide receiver who saw the field and his lowest snap total of the season. Tolbert has had a minimal role in the Cowboys offense, as he is buried on the depth chart and has seen just 24 targets through nine games. The 26-year-old should remain far off the fantasy radar as the Cowboys head into their Week 10 bye before a matchup against the Raiders in Week 11.
Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson Reemerges in offense Monday
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 10:47 PM
Ferguson brought in five of seven targets for 50 yards in the Cowboys' 27-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night.
Analysis: Following a rare Week 8 blanking against the Broncos, Ferguson bounced back Monday night to finish third across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the Cowboys. The talented tight end did lose a fumble deep in Cardinals territory just past the halfway point of the second quarter, however, and although the turnover didn't directly lead to any points for Arizona, it certainly robbed Dallas of a scoring opportunity. Ferguson has at least five receptions in all but two games and a career-high six touchdown catches heading into the Week 10 bye, but he's also averaging a career-low 6.9 yards per grab.
George Pickens
George Pickens Productive in Week 9 loss
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 10:41 PM
Pickens secured six of nine targets for 79 yards in the Cowboys' 27-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night. He also committed two fumbles, but both were recovered by Dallas.
Analysis: Pickens had a shaky night in terms of ball security, but he made up for it by recovering one of his fumbles and also finishing second across the board to CeeDee Lamb in receptions, receiving yards and targets. Pickens has proven an excellent fit in the Cowboys' air attack over the first half of his debut campaign in Dallas, as he'll head into the Week 10 bye with four straight tallies of 78 receiving yards or more and a 49-764-6 receiving line overall.
Javonte Williams
Javonte Williams Eclipses 80-yard mark in loss
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 10:37 PM
Williams rushed 15 times for 83 yards and brought in his only target for no gain in the Cowboys' 27-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night. He also lost a fumble and recovered another.
Analysis: Williams ceded just a single rushing opportunity to another running back (Malik Davis) and once again churned out an efficient performance, averaging over 5.0 yards per carry for the fifth time this season. Williams recorded three runs of 10-plus yards along the way, but his fumble at the Cardinals' 37-yard line with just under five minutes remaining and Dallas trying to reduce a 10-point deficit proved costly. The miscue aside, Williams has enjoyed a resurgent first half of his debut Cowboys campaign, and he'll continue in his unquestioned lead-back role in a Week 11 road matchup against the Raiders on Monday night, Nov. 17 following a Week 10 bye.
Dak Prescott
Dak Prescott Constantly pressured in Week 9 loss
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 10:32 PM
Prescott completed 24 of 39 passes for 250 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding four rushes for 34 yards in the Cowboys' 27-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night.
Analysis: Prescott took just two sacks against the Broncos in Week 8 but was pressured quite often in the loss, and the Cardinals then were much more successful getting home Monday night while racking up five sacks. The porous protection was particularly disappointing considering center Cooper Beebe returned from an ankle injury to anchor the Cowboys' offensive line, although Prescott was at least able to bounce back from the season-low-tying 188 yards he'd thrown for against Denver. The veteran signal-caller's one touchdown toss went to Ryan Flournoy from five yards out early in the fourth quarter, and Prescott's rushing yardage total qualified as a new season high. Prescott and his teammates will now have a Week 10 bye to regroup before returning to action with a Week 11 road matchup against the Raiders on Monday night, Nov. 17.
CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb Paces pass catchers in loss
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 10:25 PM
Lamb brought in seven of 12 targets for 85 yards in the Cowboys' 27-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday night.
Analysis: Lamb led the Cowboys across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets while also contributing a team-high 33-yard reception. The overall numbers were certainly solid from a fantasy perspective, but they came in a disappointing home loss that dropped the Cowboys to two games under .500. Lamb has back-to-back seven-catch tallies and no fewer than 74 receiving yards in any non-injury-shortened game this season, and he'll draw a highly favorable matchup coming out of Dallas' Week 10 bye when the Cowboys face the Raiders on the road on Monday night, Nov. 17.
Jonathan Mingo
Jonathan Mingo Remains healthy scratch
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 6:27 PM
Mingo (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Mingo was activated from injured reserve ahead of Dallas' Week 8 matchup, but he'll be a healthy scratch for the second consecutive contest. It's unclear if he's still ramping up, or if the Cowboys are content with their wide receiver depth for the time being.
Malik Davis
Malik Davis Active Monday while Blue isn't
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 6:17 PM
Davis is active but fellow RB Jaydon Blue (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Davis was signed from the practice squad to the active roster Monday, and now he and Hunter Luepke will be the options at running back behind starter Javonte Williams. Blue lost a fumble during the Cowboys' Week 8 loss at Denver, so this move appears to be related to performance. In any case, Davis has just two carries for three yards in two previous appearances this season, and he's unlikely to carve too much into Williams' workhorse role Week 9.
Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue Inactive in Week 9
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 5:59 PM
Blue (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Monday against the Cardinals.
Analysis: Blue committed a fumble during a Week 8 loss in Denver, after which coach Brian Schottenheimer told Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that players "can't put the ball on the ground." The Cowboys then signed Malik Davis from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday's game. indicating a change at the No. 2 RB spot may be possible. With Blue officially in street clothes Week 9, Davis will serve as the primary backup to starter Javonte Williams.
Malik Davis
Malik Davis Signed ahead of Monday's game
Mon, Nov 3, 2025, 1:16 PM
The Cowboys signed Davis off their practice squad prior to Monday's game versus the Cardinals.
Analysis: Davis was eligible to elevated from the Cowboys' practice squad one more time, but Dallas instead elected to make him a permanent member of the 53-man roster ahead of Monday's contest. He'll provide depth at running back behind Javonte Williams and Jaydon Blue but is likely to provide most of his contributions on the Cowboys' special-teams units.
Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue Spot could be in jeopardy
Thu, Oct 30, 2025, 9:28 AM
Blue might be pushed for the role of No. 2 running back for the Cowboys after committing a fumble in a Week 8 loss to the Broncos, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. "I'm always going to go back to the consistency," coach Brian Schottenheimer said after the loss. "You can't put the ball on the ground. You have to be on top of your blitz pick-ups. You have to do those things."
Analysis: Dallas was able to recover the fumble, so it didn't end up costing the team a possession, but Schottenheimer's quote suggests there's a lot more that Blue needs to work on than just ball security. The 2025 fifth-round pick has seen 15 carries over the last two games, gaining 58 rushing yards on 3.9 yards per carry, and it might only be a lack of organizational depth that's keeping him in the top backup spot behind Javonte Williams. Veteran Malik Davis has been bouncing between the gameday roster and the practice squad and has only one activation left before he'll need to be signed to a full contract, while Blue's fellow rookie, Phil Mafah (shoulder), remains on the IR without a timeline for his NFL debut.
Ryan Flournoy
Ryan Flournoy Meager role in Week 8
Wed, Oct 29, 2025, 9:52 AM
Flournoy finished with a seven-yard reception on two targets while playing 34 of the Cowboys' 74 snaps on offense in Sunday's 44-24 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: Flournoy predictably has seen his opportunities in the Dallas passing attack take a huge downturn following CeeDee Lamb's return to action in Week 7 following a three-game absence due to an ankle injury. With Lamb in the fold for the past two contests, Flournoy has been sharing the No. 3 receiver role with Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin, and has tallied just one reception.
Malik Davis
Malik Davis Heads back to practice squad
Mon, Oct 27, 2025, 9:09 PM
Davis reverted to the Cowboys' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Analysis: Davis was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 44-24 loss to the Broncos, logging two carries for three yards while playing four offensive snaps. Additionally, he was on the field for 20 snaps with the special-teams unit. Davis can be elevated one more time before the team would have to officially sign him to the active roster.
KaVontae Turpin
KaVontae Turpin Does little on five targets
Mon, Oct 27, 2025, 3:27 PM
Turpin caught one of five targets for minus-2 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. He added 86 yards on three kickoff returns.
Analysis: The five targets were third on the Cowboys behind CeeDee Lamb (10) and George Pickens (nine), but Turpin couldn't get on the same page with either of the quarterbacks he got them from, as Joe Milton replaced Dak Prescott late in the 44-24 blowout loss. Turpin's main value to Dallas still comes as a return man, and despite missing two games with a foot injury, the 29-year-old is still fifth in the NFL with 571 kickoff return yards.
Luke Schoonmaker
Luke Schoonmaker Season-high three targets Sunday
Mon, Oct 27, 2025, 3:22 PM
Schoonmaker caught two of his three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: The Cowboys curiously went away from Jake Ferguson in the contest as a receiving option, and as a result Schoonmaker saw a season-high three targets while also reaching double-digit receiving yards for the first time in 2025. The production wasn't much, but it's at least a positive sign for the third-year tight end. If Ferguson's disappearance from the game plan proves to be more than just a one-week trend, Schoonmaker could benefit.
Jalen Tolbert
Jalen Tolbert Hauls in late TD in Denver
Mon, Oct 27, 2025, 3:19 PM
Tolbert caught both his targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 44-24 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: The TD came late in the game when the outcome was already decided and the Cowboys had backup QB Joe Milton under center, but it was an impressive play nonetheless, as Tolbert ran under a perfectly placed deep ball from Milton for a 35-yard score. It was Tolbert's first touchdown of the season, and it came while he saw a season-low 14 snaps on offense, less than Ryan Flournoy (34) or KaVontae Turpin (30). Dallas appears content to have a revolving door in their WR3 spot depending on the matchup, but none of the team's depth options will see enough targets to have much fantasy value as long as CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are healthy.
Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue Eight totes in Sunday's loss
Mon, Oct 27, 2025, 3:14 PM
Blue gained 29 rushing yards on eight carries in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: About half of the rookie's yardage came on one 14-yard run, which was the longest of the day by any Cowboy. Blue remains firmly behind Javonte Williams in the pecking order for touches, but he's beginning to see enough work to flash occasional glimpses of his upside. Over the last two games -- one blowout win and one blowout loss -- he's compiled 58 rushing yards on 15 carries, while catching his only target for five yards.
Joe Milton
Joe Milton Tosses garbage-time TD
Mon, Oct 27, 2025, 3:10 PM
Milton completed three of four passes for 58 yards and a touchdown in relief of Dak Prescott during Sunday's 44-24 loss to the Broncos.
Analysis: With the game well out of reach, Milton took over for the Cowboys' final two drives of the game and punctuated the first by launching a perfect deep ball to Jalen Tolbert for a 35-yard TD. It was Milton's second late-game appearance of the season, but it likely won't be the last even if Prescott stays healthy given the state of the Dallas roster, as the combination of an elite offense and abysmal defense is a recipe for blowouts.
