Jonathan Mingo
Jonathan Mingo First catch of season
Mon, Dec 15, 2025, 10:24 AM
Mingo caught his only target for a 25-yard gain in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: His first catch of the season came on the Cowboys' final drive, helping to set up a Brandon Aubrey field goal that got the home side to within a score, but they couldn't recover the subsequent onside kick. Mingo has seen only two targets in three games since making his 2025 debut in Week 12, and it would likely take a rash of injuries ahead of him on the depth chart to get him on the fantasy radar.
KaVontae Turpin
KaVontae Turpin Limited usage on offense
Mon, Dec 15, 2025, 10:20 AM
Turpin gained two rushing yards on his lone carry, caught both his targets for 10 yards and added 124 yards on four kickoff returns in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: The 29-year-old speedster continues to be a force on special teams while seeing limited opportunities on offense. Turpin has topped 100 return yards in five of the last six games, and on the season his 1,336 kickoff return yards are third in the NFL behind Tennessee's Chimere Dike (1,413) and Minnesota's Myles Price (1,405). Turpin does have at least three touches on offense in four straight games however, putting together a modest 155 scrimmage yards during that stretch.
Ryan Flournoy
Ryan Flournoy Four grabs in Sunday's loss
Mon, Dec 15, 2025, 10:16 AM
Flournoy caught four of five targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: The four grabs and 40 yards wound up second on the Cowboys behind CeeDee Lamb's 6-111-0 line. Flournoy has caught at least three passes in three straight games, putting together a 16-189-1 line on 21 targets over that stretch, but as long as both Lamb and George Pickens are healthy, the second-year wideout will be a risky fantasy option.
Malik Davis
Malik Davis Finds end zone in Week 15 loss
Mon, Dec 15, 2025, 10:13 AM
Davis carried the ball eight times for 21 yards and a touchdown and caught two of three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: Javonte Williams picked up a shoulder injury on the Cowboys' opening drive that cost him the rest of the first half, and in his absence Davis punched in a one-yard TD in the second quarter. The two backs then split backfield duties after Williams' return to begin the second half. Davis has gotten into the end zone twice in the last three games, but Sunday's 10 touches were a season high, and his fantasy appeal will be low as long as Williams is healthy. If the shoulder issue proves to be a limiting factor for Dallas' RB1 however, Davis could see elevated volume again in Week 16 against the Chargers.
Javonte Williams
Javonte Williams Strong showing after injury scare
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 11:25 PM
Williams rushed the ball 15 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: Williams picked up 13 yards and a touchdown on the Cowboys' first offensive possession, but he then sat out the rest of the first half with a shoulder injury. While he rotated with Malik Davis more than usual in the second half, Williams managed to run and put together a good showing with chunk gains of 21, 15 and 11 yards in the final two quarters. After averaging only 3.4 yards per carry combined across the last two games, this was a solid bounceback effort for Williams, particularly considering he almost certainly wasn't playing at 100 percent.
Dak Prescott
Dak Prescott Modest showing against Minnesota
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 11:19 PM
Prescott completed 23 of 38 passes for 294 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Vikings. He added one rush for two yards.
Analysis: Prescott led the Cowboys' offense effectively for most of the game, but the unit continuously stalled in the red zone. The team managed only two touchdowns on five trips inside the red zone, both of which came on the ground. That led to Prescott's third scoreless game of the season, and he also fell short of 300 passing yards for the first time in his last three matchups. Prescott's track record suggests he'll bounce back in Week 16 against the Chargers, but he'll draw another tough matchup.
CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb Third straight 100-yard showing
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 11:07 PM
Lamb recorded six catches on 10 targets for 111 yards in Sunday's 34-26 loss to Minnesota.
Analysis: The Cowboys' pass catchers universally disappointed in Sunday night's loss, with Lamb being the only exception. He paced the team in every statistical category, while commanding double-digit targets for the sixth time in 11 games this season. Lamb was efficient with the opportunity primarily due to a pair of 30-yard receptions, and he also topped 100 receiving yards for the third straight game.
Hunter Luepke
Hunter Luepke Done for night
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 9:22 PM
Luepke (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday night's contest against the Vikings, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Luepke suffered a concussion during Sunday Night Football, bringing his night to a premature end. The Cowboys will have to operate without a fullback for the remainder of the game.
Javonte Williams
Javonte Williams Returns to SNF after halftime
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 9:22 PM
Williams (shoulder) has returned to Sunday's game against the Vikings, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Williams is back in the game after halftime. He didn't play in the second quarter after being deemed questionable to return due to a shoulder injury in the first quarter. Malik Davis and Hunter Luepke were Dallas' backfield options during Williams' absence, but Luepke won't return due to a concussion.
Javonte Williams
Javonte Williams Hurts shoulder after early TD
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 8:01 PM
Williams (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Williams remained on the sideline without his helmet after being examined by trainers, per Archer. Prior to getting injured in the first quarter, Williams rushed six times for 13 yards and a touchdown. Malik Davis is set to lead Dallas' backfield while Williams is unavailable.
Jaydon Blue
Jaydon Blue Healthy scratch Week 15
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 6:05 PM
Blue (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Analysis: The rookie fifth-rounder hasn't played since Week 8 against the Broncos, and his absence will extend to six games after being made inactive for Sunday night's contest. Blue is unlikely to play unless one of Javonte Williams or Malik Davis were to miss time.
Jalen Tolbert
Jalen Tolbert Won't play Week 15
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 6:03 PM
Tolbert (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Analysis: It's the third time in four games that Tolbert will be a healthy scratch. Ryan Flournoy, KaVontae Turpin and Jonathan Mingo will be the top depth options for the Cowboys behind CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens for Sunday night's game. Tolbert's next opportunity to play is Week 16 against the Chargers on Sunday, Dec. 21.
Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson Active Sunday
Sun, Dec 14, 2025, 5:57 PM
Ferguson (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Analysis: Ferguson entered the weekend as questionable following an LP/DNP/LP practice regimen due to a calf injury, but comments from Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones (per Jon Machota of The Athletic) on Friday and a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Saturday evening indicated that the tight end was likely to play Week 15. Indeed, that has been confirmed, and Ferguson will continue to operate as one of QB Dak Prescott's top pass catchers along with WRs CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson Still looking good for Sunday
Sat, Dec 13, 2025, 11:05 PM
Ferguson (calf), who is officially questionable for Sunday's Week 15 matchup against Minnesota, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Though Ferguson logged an LP/DNP/LP practice progression this week, there hasn't been substantial chatter about him needing to miss Sunday's contest. That remains the case as of Saturday evening, though official confirmation of Ferguson's status may not come until about 90 minutes before Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. Should there be a surprise and Ferguson needs to sit out the matchup, Luke Schoonmaker would likely work as the Cowboys' top tight end.
Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson Officially questionable for SNF
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 3:39 PM
Ferguson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota after logging a limited practice Friday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: Ferguson sandwiched two limited practices around a Thursday absence, with Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones revealing Friday that the team expects its top tight end to be available Sunday night. If not, Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford will be the top TEs for an offense that's consolidated around RB Javonte Williams, WR CeeDee Lamb and WR George Pickens over the past month. Anyone considering Ferguson as a Week 15 lineup option should keep an eye on the situation, as he'd be a high-risk play if there's any hint of real danger for missing SNF.
Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson Expected to play
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 3:23 PM
Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said Friday that he expects Ferguson (calf) to play Sunday night against the Vikings, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Ferguson was a limited practice participant Wednesday and then sat out Thursday, but Jones said the tight end looked good during Friday's practice. It still seems more likely than not for Ferguson to enter the game with a 'questionable' designation, which could be tricky for managers ahead of a primetime kickoff (8:20 p.m. ET Sunday).
CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb Clears protocol, ready for Sunday
Fri, Dec 12, 2025, 8:15 AM
Lamb cleared concussion protocol Friday and will be available to play Sunday against the Vikings, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: After sustaining the concussion in last Thursday's loss to the Lions, Lamb made rapid progress through the five-step protocol. He took the field for the Cowboys' first Week 15 practice Wednesday as a limited participant, then took another step forward Thursday, when he upgraded to full participation. Lamb has since been removed from the protocol after being cleared by an independent neurologist, setting the stage for him to handle his typical role Sunday. Since returning to action Week 7 following a three-game absence due to an ankle injury, Lamb is averaging 5.9 catches for 91.9 receiving yards and has scored three touchdowns over a stretch of seven contests.
Hunter Luepke
Hunter Luepke Full participant Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 5:11 PM
Luepke (hip) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Luepke's ability to string consecutive practices together is a great sign for his availability for Sunday's game against the Vikings. The fullback will have one more chance to avoid an injury designation for Sunday, and even without a full practice Friday, he seems to be in a good spot to be able to suit up for the Cowboys' offense.
Jake Ferguson
Jake Ferguson Doesn't practice Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:41 PM
Ferguson (calf) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Ferguson opened Week 15 prep as limited due to a calf injury Wednesday, so his downgrade one day later is somewhat concerning. However, he was seen rehabbing with the Cowboys' training staff on the side Thursday, according to Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News. Friday's injury report may include a ruling on Ferguson's status ahead of Sunday's game versus the Vikings, but if he needs to miss any time, Luke Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford are the next TEs up on Dallas' roster.
CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb Gets back to full Thursday
Thu, Dec 11, 2025, 3:36 PM
Lamb (concussion) practiced fully Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Lamb exited in the third quarter of last Thursday's loss at Detroit due to a concussion, but after following up Wednesday's limited session with an uncapped practice one day later, he seems to be on the precipice of clearing the protocol for head injuries. Speaking of that, coach Brian Schottenheimer told Todd Archer of ESPN.com on Wednesday that Lamb had to "clear two more hurdles." Considering Lamb practiced without restrictions Thursday, he likely only has an evaluation with an independent neurologist to get through in order to make himself available Sunday against the Vikings.
