Brock Bowers
Brock Bowers Fully healthy ahead of camp
Sat, Jul 11, 2026, 10:30 PM
Bowers (knee) practiced "at full speed" during OTAs and minicamp, Ryan McFadden of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Bowers was plagued by a knee injury during most of the 2025 campaign and was ultimately placed on IR for the final two weeks of the regular season. However, he's been able to get back to full health during the offseason and has several other factors working in his favor ahead of the 2026 campaign. First, he'll be working with a pair of new quarterbacks in Kirk Cousins and Fernando Mendoza, and Cousins was reportedly enthralled with Bowers during spring workouts. Second, the Raiders brought in Klint Kubiak -- "who has shown the ability to scheme the ball to his best pass catchers" -- as their new coach. Third, Las Vegas currently has an untested WR room, so Bowers is likely to feature at the team's top pass catcher.
Derek Carr
Derek Carr Draws interest from multiple clubs
Sat, Jul 11, 2026, 5:53 PM
Carr has been contacted by "multiple" NFL teams about a potential comeback, but he's unlikely to come out of retirement, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
Analysis: Carr shared on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Friday that he hasn't completely shut the door on a return to the league, but he also hinted that such a return is unlikely. "If I were to do it, it'd have to be a special team that maybe lost somebody or needed somebody. Even then, it's not guaranteed. I'm having too much fun hanging out with my wife, hanging out with my kids and trying to get good at golf. It would take a special deal, but I'm always training. I got to. I got four boys that can't beat me up when they're 18, so I got to keep training. I'll be in shape and ready, but probably not. I'll probably be just coaching my kids, that's for sure," the former Raiders and Saints QB stated. It sounds like fantasy managers shouldn't count on Carr being a quarterback option at any point in 2026, though the 35-year-old did comment, "I'll never say never."
Spotted at Rams facility Friday
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 8:40 PM
Donald worked out at the Rams' practice field Friday, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Analysis: According to Michael J. Babcock of TMZ Sports, Donald "went through several drills" and appeared "gassed" after a workout that lasted about an hour. While the currently retired defensive lineman could have just been getting in some conditioning work at his former club's facility, the workout takes on added intrigue after Donald said in early June that he's "thinking" of coming out of retirement. To this point, Donald hasn't confirmed either way if he's planning to play next year, so visions of him lining up alongside new Rams edge rusher Myles Garrett remain speculative for now.
Expected to be ready for camp
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 7:01 PM
Oladejo didn't participate in OTAs or minicamp because of a hamstring injury, but he's expected to be ready for the beginning of training camp in late July, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Analysis: Oladejo missed most of last season due to a right leg fracture he suffered in October, but that wasn't the cause of his absence from spring workouts; rather, the second-round 2025 draft pick was nursing a hamstring issue. Oladejo is slated for a rotational role during the upcoming campaign, and he's expected to work more frequently as a pass rusher than he did last season, per Kuharsky.
Wil Lutz
Wil Lutz Has solid hold on No. 1 kicker job
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 6:35 PM
Lutz, who signed a contract extension with Denver last November, enters the 2026 campaign as the team's clear primary kicker, Bob Morris of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Lutz has been very reliable since joining the Broncos in 2023, playing in all 51 of the team's regular-season games and making 89.0 percent of his field-goal tries. He's converted 12 of 18 attempts from 50-plus yards during that time and hasn't missed any extra points over the past two years. Morris notes Lutz's contract includes no guaranteed money in 2028, but with most of his salary guaranteed from 2026 to 2027, the veteran kicker is essentially locked in as Denver's starting kicker for at least the next two years.
Courtland Sutton
Courtland Sutton Could draw more 1-on-1 matchups
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 6:22 PM
Sutton could benefit from more one-on-one matchups during the upcoming season following Denver's acquisition of Jaylen Waddle, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Waddle has averaged 77.5 catches for 1,049 yards and 7.5 touchdowns over the past two seasons as the Broncos' No. 1 wideout, and the team gave its WR room a dramatic new look in mid-March by dealing for Waddle. While the trade on one hand means Sutton is more of a 1A in the pecking order alongside Waddle, it may also mean the former will have more open looks with opposing defenses needing to focus heavy attention on Waddle. It remains to be seen how exactly the Broncos' offense will adjust to Waddle's presence, but with QB Bo Nix (ankle) expected to be good to go for the start of training camp and coming off a 2025 regular season during which he threw the most passes in the NFL, there should be adequate targets for both Sutton and Waddle to put up lofty receiving numbers.
Ollie Gordon II
Ollie Gordon II Competing for backup role
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 5:44 PM
Gordon and Jaylen Wright are in line to compete for backup slotting behind De'Von Achane in training camp, Mike Masala of USA Today reports.
Analysis: Achane is the Dolphins' clear-cut top back, which limits the fantasy lineup utility of his backups as long as he's available. However, if Achane misses time this season for any reason, there's streaming value to be had with the player who's next in line for carries. During the 2025 regular season, Gordon and Wright each logged 70 carries, though Wright (who averaged 4.1 yards per carry) did so in 10 contests while Gordon (2.8 yards per carry) was available for Miami's full slate.
Sam Roush
Sam Roush Signs rookie deal with Bears
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 5:07 PM
The Bears have signed Roush to a four-year, $7.35 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The Bears thought highly enough of Roush to take the Stanford product in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 69th overall. However, as a rookie, the 6-foot-6, 267 pounder's path to steady targets isn't apparent while working in an offense that returns TEs Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet.
Jaylen Waddle
Jaylen Waddle Has impressed coach thus far
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 4:56 PM
Coach Sean Payton has been pleased with what he's seen from Waddle since the wideout was acquired in March in a trade with the Dolphins, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: "He's someone who picks things up real quick," Payton said last month of Waddle, who put up a 64/910/6 receiving line (on 100 targets) in 16 regular-season games in 2025. "You can just feel his instincts, his quickness and his ability to not only run fast but stop fast. So, he's doing well." Looking ahead, Waddle and Courtland Sutton are slated to lead a Denver WR corps that also includes Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin. Assuming he builds solid chemistry with QB Bo Nix (ankle), who is excited about the explosiveness Waddle brings to the team's offense, the 2021 first-rounder -- who topped 1,000 receiving yards during his first three seasons (2021-2023) with Miami -- is a candidate to see an uptick in production in 2026, and in turn provide weekly fantasy utility in his new locale.
Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones Continues to progress
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 4:21 PM
On the subject of his Achilles rehab, Jones said Friday, "I'm doing everything. Cleared to do everything. I think it's just about, at this point, sharpening that," James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: That said, Jones acknowledges the injury he sustained Dec. 7 last year is still on his mind, noting on that front, "you're still thinking about it. I think (you) probably will until you get playing." An important milestone in the QB's ongoing recovery will be a return to 11-on-11 drills, with Coach Shane Steichen having previously noted that the plan is for Jones to resume work in those drills when training camp begins later this month.
Gardner Minshew II
Gardner Minshew II Fellow QB works out with teammates
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 3:37 PM
Minshew's teammate Jacoby Brissett, who is in the midst of a contract dispute with the Cardinals, posted a recent photo Thursday on Instagram that showed him getting in some work with several teammates, Tyler Drake of Arizonasports.com reports.
Analysis: That Brissett -- who didn't take a single practice rep during Arizona's offseason program -- connected with WRs Marvin Harrison and Simi Fehoko, TEs Trey McBride and Elijah Higgins along with fellow QB Kedon Slovis is a positive sign, but at this stage it's unclear if or for how long the signal-caller's contract issue lingers once the Cardinals re-take the field. In the absence of Brissett, the team's expected Week 1 starter, Minshew took the majority of first-team QB reps throughout the offseason, so this will be a situation worth monitoring closely once Arizona's training camp commences July 22.
Chig Okonkwo
Chig Okonkwo Building chemistry with Daniels
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 2:17 PM
Ahead of training camp, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site relays that Okonkwo (who signed a three-year deal with the team in March) and QB Jayden Daniels have already developed a strong connection through their work during OTAs and minicamp.
Analysis: With Zach Ertz (knee), who drew 72 targets in 13 regular-season contests in 2025, no longer in the mix, Okonkwo tops a Washington TE depth chart that also includes returnees John Bates and Ben Sinnott, a duo that combined for 29 targets last season. During his fourth and final campaign with the Titans, Okonkwo put up a 56/560/6 receiving line on 79 targets across 17 regular-season outings. Given that the 2022 fourth-rounder has already developed chemistry with a signal-caller who Selby notes often likes to get tight ends involved in the offense, Okonkwo is a candidate to see an uptick in production in his new locale in 2026. It's a context in which the tight feels like he "can finally just unleash," while operating as one of Daniels' key pass-catching options along with top WR Terry McLaurin.
Green dot signals larger role
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 11:37 AM
Deablo is set for expanded responsibilities on defense in the 2026 season, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Analysis: Deablo has inherited the green dot from departed linebacker Kaden Elliss. Those communication duties not only keep him central to Atlanta's defense, but also create a path to steadier snaps and tackle opportunities. The 27-year-old impressed while healthy in his inaugural campaign with the Falcons last year, totaling 73 tackles (38 solo), including 1.0 sacks, plus seven passes defensed and one fumble recovery across 13 regular-season games. With his expanded role, Deablo's value in IDP formats figures to grow in 2026.
Logs visit with Texans
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 10:25 AM
Arnold (shoulder) visited with Houston on Thursday and took a physical, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Arnold has cleared waivers after being cut by Detroit in late June, and Schefter reports the third-year pro has two upcoming visits scheduled with NFL teams. The 2024 first-rounder appears healthy enough to sign with a new squad after having undergone shoulder surgery last December. Arnold is awaiting trial on felony kidnapping and robbery charges.
In mix for starting center job
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 9:47 AM
Pinter will enter training camp with a chance to compete alongside Jovaughn Gwyn, Corey Bullock and Nick Dawkins for the Ravens' starting center gig, Ryan Mink & Clifton Brown of the team's official site report.
Analysis: Pinter and Gwyn split first-team reps during spring practices, so those two currently look like the favorites to replace Tyler Linderbaum (now with the Raiders) in the starting lineup. Mink and Brown also note that Baltimore could still pursue a more experienced starter via trade or the free-agent market. Across five seasons with the Colts, Pinter started in 10 of his 77 regular-season appearances.
Snap count could decline in 2026
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 9:36 AM
The Titans plan to reduce Simmons' (elbow) workload in 2026 to keep him fresh for high-leverage situations, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.
Analysis: Coach Robert Saleh said during minicamp in June that Tennessee wants Simmons rested for crucial third downs and two-minute situations. Fewer snaps could slightly lower Simmons' tackle volume, but Saleh's aggressive scheme should also create more opportunities for disruption. Simmons totaled a career-high 11.0 sacks last season while earning All-Pro honors, and he's fresh off signing a three-year, $105.8 million contract extension. Considering his talent level, a planned rotation shouldn't significantly damage Simmons' IDP ceiling.
Gunnar Helm
Gunnar Helm Drawing praise entering Year 2
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 9:25 AM
Titans head coach Robert Saleh has praised Helm's physical development this offseason and named the tight end as a player who "hopefully" will "take a big jump" during the 2026 season, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Helm set a franchise rookie tight end record with 44 catches for 357 yards and two touchdowns while suiting up for 16 regular-season games in 2025. Added competition may limit his fantasy ceiling, but a strong offseason would give Helm a chance to earn a larger role in Tennessee's offense, and the departure of Chig Okonkwo for the Commanders opens up notable receiving opportunities. Helm appears the favorite to win the No. 1 tight end job during training camp, with Daniel Bellinger and Kylen Granson fitting into complementary roles.
Noah Gray
Noah Gray Set to reprise No. 2 role
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 9:07 AM
Gray is expected to reprise his complementary No. 2 tight end role behind Travis Kelce during the 2026 season, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Analysis: Gray caught 21 of 37 targets for 178 yards without a touchdown while suiting up for 16 regular-season games in 2025, a notable step back from the 40-437-5 line he totaled in 2024. He remains a versatile contributor on offense and special teams, but Gray's limited receiving production will likely keep him of the fantasy radar. There's a chance Gray will carry greater relevance if Kelce is forced to miss time.
Cam Little
Cam Little Looking to build on big 2025
Thu, Jul 9, 2026, 11:08 PM
Little is set to reprise his role as Jacksonville's primary kicker during the upcoming season and will look to further cement his place as one of the NFL's top players at his position, Casandra Chesser of Jaguars Wire reports.
Analysis: Little made history last year when he kicked the longest field goal in league history -- a 68-yarder in Week 9. For good measure, he booted a 67-yarder in Week 18 and outdid both of those kicks in the preseason with a 70-yarder. Overall, Little made 30 of 34 FG attempts and 50 of 51 extra-point tries, leaving little margin for him to improve. Still, he had a rough patch between Weeks 3 and 7 when he went just 4-for-8 on field-goal tries, so a reasonable goal could be to avoid any similar uneven stretches in 2026. Regardless, Little will enter the campaign as one of fantasy's most desirable kickers, especially in formats that award more points for long-distance makes.
Cameron Dicker
Cameron Dicker Gearing up for fifth season
Thu, Jul 9, 2026, 9:57 PM
Dicker is entering his fifth NFL campaign, his fourth as the Chargers' undisputed starting kicker.
Analysis: Dicker is coming off of a 2025 campaign during which he converted 38 of 41 field-goal attempts, notching his first Pro Bowl appearance. Dicker now owns four of the five best single-season field-goal percentage campaigns in franchise history, per Omar Navarro of the Chargers' official website. The kicker will look to build off the historic start to his career in 2026, capping off the possessions of the highly-anticipated Los Angeles offensive under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel.
