To take home this half-million-dollar bonus, the same owner must win the NFFC Primetime overall AND the FFWC. Only owners entered in both events are eligible for this prize. By the way, owners can have multiple teams in each!
One important note: to be eligible for a bonus prize, it must be the same principal owner who wins both overalls. Many teams have co-owners, but only the principal owner qualifies for the bonus. So for instance, if the owner of the FFWC winner is a co-owner (but not the primary owner) of the NFFC Primetime, they are not eligible for the bonus.
To win this bonus, an NFFC owner has to win the NFFC primetime AND the Footballguys Online Championship overall title. If someone pulls it off, the total prize winnings will be more than $675,000 ($300,000 in the OC, $300,000 in the Primetime, $75,000 cash bonus, plus any league winnings). As with all multi-win bonuses, only the primary owner of the team is eligible for the bonus prize.
We call this “the Lindy” in the NFBC in honor of Lindy Hinkelman, who won the bonus the very first year we offered it in 2009. Chad Schroeder pulled it off again in 2015, combining to take home $305,000 in winnings. No one has won The Lindy in football, but maybe this is the year! Good luck!
