Shawn Childs won his sixth NFBC Main Event league title in 2022, meaning only eight other owners have won more Main Event league titles than him. Shawn and Steve Jupinka were members of our inaugural NFBC Hall of Fame class as they were inducted in 2011. Although he hasn't won a main event overall title yet, Shawn has finished in the Top 5 four times: 3rd in 2004, 5th in 2005, 3rd in 2007 and 3rd in 2009. He has consistently finished in the money in every format, whether it be AL-only Auction Leagues (he has a record four $1300 AL Auction League titles), NL-only Auction Leagues, Ultimate Draft Leagues, Online Championship leagues, Diamond Auction leagues, Cutline leagues or satellite leagues, Shawn is consistently near the top. Through 2022, Shawn was 34th on the career earnings list with $185,425.

Lindy had one of the greatest seasons in NFBC history in 2009 when he won $241,300. Lindy won the 2009 Main Event overall title and he won the debut NFBC Online Championship that same year, earning a total of $146,300 in those two contests. He also earned a $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overall titles and he even finished second in the Ultimate Auction League that year. Lindy became the first owner to win TWO Main Event national titles when he won the NFBC $100,000 grand prize in 2011 as he had another fantastic season, finishing second overall in the Auction Championship. He won four of seven league titles in 2011 to go along with his 2nd NFBC $100,000 grand prize. His incredible accomplishments earned him a spot in the NFBC Hall of Fame in 2012. In 2011, Lindy led the Main Event for much of the last four months and edged KJ Duke by a mere 2.5 points to win his second $100,000 grand prize. He also won his Auction Championship League title, his Live Double Play League title and his Online Double Play League title, showing his versatility in 15-team and 12-team drafts, along with 15-team auctions. His dominance in all formats since he began in the NFBC in 2005 has vaulted Lindy to 4th on the career earnings list with $580,550.

Lindy had the perfect season in 2009, winning the overall titles in the Main Event and the Online Championship to earn a $75,000 cash bonus. It's now called "The Lindy." He ranks 4th on our NFBC Money Leaderboard thanks to that $241,300 season. He has been competing in the Main Event since 2005 and has finished in the Top 3 of his league almost 40 percent of the time, while winning five Main Event league titles.

Lindy won four league titles in 2011 out of seven events. He won Las Vegas Main Event League 4 with 138 points (92%) and he won the overall title with 3,407.0 points (87.4%). He won Las Vegas Auction League March 25th 9 am with 120.5 points and finished 2nd overall in the Auction Championship. He won the March 8th Online Double Play with 85.5 points and tied for first place in the March 25th 4 pm Live Double Play with 82 points. He finished third in the Las Vegas March 27th Live Double Play with 76.5 points, finished 5th in the Ultimate Auction League with 85.5 points and finished 9th in the $150 Slow Draft League #13 with 74 points.

After being inducted into the NFBC Hall of Fame in March of 2012, Lindy came back to win his 3rd Main Event league title and his first NFBC XII league title. He finished 11th overall in the Main Event and 5th overall in the NFBC XII. In 2014, Lindy added a fourth Main Event league title as he finished 8th overall, while adding a Primetime league title that year and finishing 19th overall in that contest. Lindy added six league titles in 2013-14 as he won league titles in the Online Championship each year. In 2015, he added a Primetime league title and finished 7th in the overall standings. In 2015, Lindy won four more league titles, winning his 5th Main Event league title while finishing 13th overall, while adding an Online Championship Plus league title, an Online Championship league title and a Draft Champions League title. He won league titles in 5 of the 13 leagues he entered in 2016.

Lindy is the only player in NFBC history to have won national titles in three different formats. He’s the only person to win the NFBC Main Event overall title twice and he won the Online Championship title in 2009 as well. Then in 2019, he won the NFBC Draft Champions National Championship, defeating 3,450 teams, to win that draft ‘n hold national championship. He’s the best of the best in so many different formats that Lindy is easily recognized as one of the best – if not THE BEST – player in NFBC history.

Inducted into the NFBC Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 2011, Jupinka ranks second in the NFBC through 2022 with 11 Main Event league titles since 2004. His consistency in all formats through 19 NFBC seasons has him ranked 11th in our career earnings list with $404,000 and No. 1 on KJ Duke’s Main Event overall ranking system. He also has won 25 percent of all NFBC leagues he's entered since 2004 and has cashed in over 48 percent of all NFBC leagues. He has finished in the Top 10 overall for the Main Event six times: winning the $100,000 grand prize in 2010, finishing second overall in 2008, 5th in 2012, 5th in 2022, 7th in 2021 and 10th overall in our debut season of 2004. He's also finished as high as 13th in 2012, 18th in 2005, 20th in 2019, 24th in 2011, 28th in 2015, 33rd in 2009, 34th in 2022, 35th in 2006, 40th in 2017 and 54th in 2007. The fact that he’s won a Main Event league title at a 28.2% clip is unprecedented for this tough, 15-team format. He's also excelled in every format in football, winning several titles in the NFFC. All of those accomplishments earned him a spot in the inaugural NFBC Hall of Fame class with Shawn Childs in 2011.

In the overall standings, he is our Lifetime Standings leader, having placed 1st, 2nd, 5th, 5th, 7th, 10th, 13th, 15th, 18th, 20th, 24th, 28th, 33rd, 35th, 40th, 54th, 54th, 59th, 61st, 85th, 94th, 110th, 112th, 113th, 114th, 114th, 121st, 122nd, 150th, 158th, 189th, 217th, 222nd, 278th, 324th, 346th, 395th and 526th overall in the Main Event. Nobody else has been as consistently good for as long in the Main Event as Stephen Jupinka. Heck, he's finished lower than 5th only seven times in his 39 Main Events that he's competed in.

Steve has spent approximately $200,000 in NFBC entry fees since 2004 and has won $404,000.

Steve has also won money in just about every different format. He has won:

  • Main Events (11)
  • NFBC XII
  • Ultimate Auction League
  • Ultimate Online League
  • $500 Satellite Leagues (4)
  • $325 Slow Drafts (4)
  • 12-team Online Championships (3)
  • Invitationals (KJ Duke) (1)
  • Cutline Championship (1)

He finished second overall in the debut NFBC Auction Championship in 2010 and in 2011 he was second overall in the debut NFBC Slow Draft Draft Champions Championship and was 5th overall in the 2011 NFBC Online Double Play among 780 owners. In 2012, he had two teams in the Top 13 overall of the Main Event and an NFBC XII team that finished 13th overall. In 2013, Steve won his sixth Main Event league title while finishing 15th overall. That year he also co-owned a team with Jeff Dobies that won $40,000 in the Ultimate Auction League, while also winning a title in the 12-team Online Championship. Winning league titles in one season in the 15-team format, the 12-team format and the auction format just shows how versatile and talented Steve is. Heck, he even won a league title in our 10-team debut event the Cutline Championship in 2016. He joined the NFBC in 2005, the second year of the contest, and won the NFBC Main Event’s overall title and the $100,000 grand prize by 2006. He also won the Ultimate League title and the $40,000 league prize that year, becoming a top champion in a hurry. During his 18 seasons in the NFBC, DiDonato has won $325,625 to rank 14th on the Career Earnings List. He has won 12.6 percent of the leagues he’s entered and he’s cashed in over 27 percent of all leagues he’s entered. In 2015, he won his 4th Main Event League title, becoming one of only 16 players to win that many Main Event league titles at that time. Dave Potts became the 5th owner inducted into the NFBC Hall of Fame when we honored him in 2017 at the Bellagio, Las Vegas. Dave joins Shawn Childs, Steve Jupinka, Lindy Hinkelman and David DiDonato in the NFBC Hall of Fame.

Dave first joined the NFBC in 2009 and admittedly took a learning lesson the first few years in our 15-team format. But Dave won the NFBC Main Event title and $100,000 in 2012 and he hasn't looked back since. He has won five NFBC Main Event league titles in the last 11 years, including titles in 2016, 2017 and 2019. He’s also won a Platinum League title, an Ultimate Auction League title and league titles ranging from the Rotowire Online Championship to the NFBC XII. Dave is currently 10th all-time on the NFBC money list with earnings of $418,963 despite not joining our contest right away.

Dave has five Top 20 finishes in the NFBC Main Event overall: 1st (2012), 11th (2011), 15th (2016), 16th (2016) and 20th (2015). He also finished 3rd overall in the NFBC XII during that magical 2012 season as he almost won the $75,000 cash bonus for winning both overall titles. That was the year Dave Potts made a name for himself in the fantasy baseball industry and each year he just accomplishes a little bit more. Dave has become one of the most famous fantasy players in the industry, going on to win a $1 million Fanduel prize AND a $1 million Draft Kings prize in 2014 and 2015. Dave quit his musical touring career two years ago and became a full-time writer for Rotogrinders.com. He's a fulltime writer for the site during the baseball season and he's even put his pretty face to video. With his track record, everyone should listen to his DFS and season-long advice.

Here is Dave's resume in the NFBC since 2011:

2011: Won Main Event league title

2012: Won the Main Event overall championship; Won Main Event league title

2013: Finished 2nd in two of his three Main Event leagues

Mark Srebro became the 6th member inducted into the NFBC Hall of Fame in 2019 after 15 years of participation in the NFBC. The honor was likely overdue as Mark led all owners with 56 different NFBC league titles during that time, including seven Main Event league titles and six Top 10 overall Main Event finishes.

Mark has won a record 12 Main Event league titles through 2022 after winning two more league titles last year. They include: 2007, 2008, 2010, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 and again in 2022. He also won a Live Double Play league title in 2010, which led to his Combined Prizes title.

Mark didn't win any league titles during his first three baseball seasons in 2004-2006, but he made up for that by winning the 2004 NFFC Classic overall title and the $100,000 grand prize there. He bragged on the NFFC Message Boards all off-season that he would win the inaugural NFFC Classic title and sure enough he did it.

Here is Mark's resume in the NFBC since 2007:

2007: Won his first Main Event league title and finished 5th overall

2008: Won another Main Event league title and finished 6th overall. It was also the first year we ran Satellite Leagues, and he won a $250 Satellite League title and $2,000 there.

2009: Won a New York Mixed Auction League title and two Online Championship league titles.

2010: Cashed in 13 of 14 leagues that he played in. He won a Main Event league title in Atlantic City and another Main Event league title in New York City, finishing 2nd and 9th overall. He won a Live Double Play in Atlantic City, leading to the Combined Prizes title. He also finished 4th in the Combined Prizes. He won two $125 Satellite Leagues. And then he dove into nine Draft Champions leagues, winning eight league titles, giving him 13 money finishes in 14 leagues

2012: Won two Draft Champions league titles

2013: Won 10 Draft Champions league titles and cashed in 18 DC leagues as he turned his attention more to draft 'n hold leagues.

2014: Tied for first place in the Las Vegas $1300 AL Auction League and won one Draft Champions league. In 2015, he was back in the Main Event and won one league title, finishing 5th overall, and won the Las Vegas $1300 AL Auction league title again. He also won one Online Championship league title, one $250 DC Auction League title and five Draft Champions league titles.

2016: Won another Main Event league title and three Draft Champions league titles. In 2018, he won his seventh Main Event league title and two Draft Champions League titles. He finished 10th overall in the Main Event and 7th overall in the Draft Champions National Championship.

2017: Mark won two more Draft Champions League titles.

2018: Mark won his seventh Main Event league title and two Draft Champions League titles. He finished 10th overall in the Main Event and 7th overall in the Draft Champions National Championship.

2019: Mark won his eighth Main Event league title in 2019 and finished 19th overall. He also won the New York $2500 Auction Championship league and finished third in the NFBC Auction Championship. He also added one more NFBC Draft Champions league title.

2021: Mark won two more Main Event league titles, finishing 10th and 56th overall, to tie Steve Jupinka for the most Main Event league titles in NFBC history with 10.

2022: Mark won two more Main Event league titles in 2022 in five attempts, finishing as high as 26th overall. He also won an NFBC $1500 Auction Championship league title and finished 4th overall in that contest.

That's 64 league titles since he started playing in 2004. That's titles in the Main Event. In the AL Auction. In the Mixed Auction. In the Live Double Play. In the Online Championship. In 15-team Satellite Leagues. In the Online Auction leagues. And especially in the Draft Champions format. That’s Hall of Fame worthy. And that’s just baseball. He also has won two national titles in the NFFC. He won the NFFC Classic in 2004 and in 2016 he won the NFFC Draft Champions National Championship. We haven’t added up his total number of league titles in the NFFC yet, but it looks like we better get to that soon, too.

  • 2nd: 1 (20.0% Top 2 finishes)
  • 3rd: 2 (60.0% cashed in the Main Event)
  • 4th: 2

Shawn has competed in the NFBC since 2007 and has become one of the winningest owners in our contest's history. Shawn is currently 4th on the NFBC's Career Earnings list with $629,140 while competing in ONLY 57 LEAGUES over the last 15 years.

Shawn very well could be the winningest owner in NFBC history when it comes to league titles vs. number of leagues entered. Shawn mainly concentrates on the high-dollar private league auctions and he has had unprecedented success in those leagues. In fact, he won five of six NFBC Diamond Auction League titles from 2017-22, earning $75,000 per year with those titles. He’s also won 4 NFBC Auction Championship League titles, including three at the $2,500 price point. He's also won 3 NFBC Super League titles, one NFBC Ultimate Auction League title, one NFBC $400 Draft Champions League title and one NFBC XII League title.

Of his 7 second place finishes, he's finished runner-up twice in the Ultimate League, twice in the Super League, once in the NFBC Primetime, once in the NFBC Main Event and once in the NFBC Auction Championship.

While he doesn't play in the NFBC Main Event much anymore, he has competed in the Main Event five times and has cashed three times. He's finished 2nd once, 3rd twice and 4th twice. Here's where he has finished in the Main Event overall during his five chances: 27th (2014), 29th (2015), 48th (2008), 50th (2009) and 93rd (2021).

He's also finished 2nd overall TWICE in the NFBC Auction Championship. He won his NFBC New York $1500 Auction Championship League title in 2016 and finished second overall, and then won the Las Vegas $2500 Auction Championship League title in 2021 and finished 2nd overall. He also finished 16th overall in the NFBC Auction Championship in 2019 while winning the Las Vegas $2500 Auction Championship League and 18th overall in 2018 while winning the Las Vegas $2500 Auction Championship League.

He may have had his best year in 2022 when he entered six leagues and won four league titles, while finishing second in another league. In 2022, he won the Diamond Auction League title, the Ultimate Auction League title, the NFBC 12-Team Super League title and a $400 Draft Champions League title, finishing 19th overall in the NFBC Draft Champions National Championship. He also finished second in the New York $2500 Auction Championship League, finishing 30th overall.

One of the criteria for earning a Hall of Fame spot is "Excellence in several NFBC formats; consistency in multiple formats." In that regard, there are few who are as consistently successful as Shawn Johnson. Playing against some of the best players in the NFBC, he consistently wins and cashes in the private leagues. He's also excelled in the 12-team format and the 15-team format, while excelling in auctions, drafts and even draft 'n hold formats. And while he doesn't compete in many of the national contests, when he does, he's always fighting for a national championship.

Here again are the 15 league titles he's won since 2007:

** 5 NFBC Diamond Auction League titles
** 4 NFBC Auction Championship League titles (3 of which are $2,500 league titles)
** 3 Super League titles (2 are 12-team league titles)
** 1 Ultimate Auction League title
** 1 NFBC XII League title
** 1 NFBC $400 Draft Champions league title

Add it all up and it's:
15 - NFBC League titles
2 - 2nd place overall finishes in the NFBC Auction Championship
1 - Top 5 overall finish in the NFBC XII
2 - Top 30 NFBC Main Event finishes (in 5 attempts)
