Olivier Sarr
Olivier Sarr hits game-winner vs. Alex, Wizards
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 11:47 AM
Olivier Sarr finished Sunday's 113-112 win over Washington with four points, four rebounds and three blocked shots across 18 minutes.
Analysis: Sarr's production wasn't off the charts, but he hit the most important shot of the game. Down 112-111 with 0.8 seconds left on the clock, Sarr caught an alley-oop inbounds pass from Jared Rhoden and laid it up for the game-winning bucket at the buzzer. Olivier and brother Alex of the Wizards played their first head-to-head matchup in the NBA and exchanged jerseys after the contest.
Immanuel Quickley
Immanuel Quickley leads Raps with 18 points
Sun, Oct 12, 2025, 11:40 AM
Immanuel Quickley finished with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers in Sunday's preseason matchup with Washington.
Analysis: Quickley led Toronto in the scoring department thanks in large part to his five made three-pointers. IQ logged just 33 appearances a season ago, and fantasy managers will hope for a healthier season when selecting him on draft day. He profiles as a mid-round selection, likely becoming a viable pick around the fifth or sixth round in most standard drafts.
Gradey Dick
Gradey Dick tallies game-high 22 points Friday
Fri, Oct 10, 2025, 4:19 PM
Gradey Dick shot 8-of-13 from the field and 3-of-6 from the foul line in Friday's win over the Celtics, finishing with 22 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Gradey was not part of the Raptors' fourth-quarter rally, which was capped by a Jonathan Mogbo (8/5/3/1) layup in the final seconds. However, the third-year wing was excellent while on the court. Gradey shot the ball well from the field and was an active rebounder, which is what he'll need to do to carve out a consistent role for himself when the starters are available. The Raptors rested their usual starters for Friday's game, resulting in more opportunities for Gradey and the others. He isn't a player worth drafting, but there may be streaming opportunities throughout the season, especially considering Brandon Ingram's injury history.
Jamal Shead
Shead, Agbaji, Gradey, Murray-Boyles, Mamu start
Fri, Oct 10, 2025, 12:42 PM
Josh Lewenberg
Jamal Shead, Ochai Agbaji, Gradey Dick, Collin Murray-Boyles and Sandro Mamukelashvili will start Friday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Toronto's projected starters are resting, so the team's second unit will start Friday's preseason home opener. Murray-Boyles, the Raptors' first-round pick in June's draft, can play power forward or center, which can also be said for Mamukelashvili. As for the fill-ins on the perimeter, all three can use solid performances to strengthen their chances of playing consistent rotation minutes when the regular season begins.
Brandon Ingram
Brandon Ingram posts 21/6/3 line vs. Sacramento
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 7:00 PM
Brandon Ingram tallied 21 points (7-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: Despite being sidelined since December 7 with an ankle injury, Ingram has looked good in his first two preseason games with the Raptors. He shot 5-of-7 from deep in Wednesday's win over the Kings and 13-of-27 from the field overall through two games. Toronto did not have Scottie Barnes for Wednesday's game, freeing up additional on-ball opportunities for Ingram. However, touches are unlikely to be an issue for him at any point, whether Barnes is on the court or not. When available, Ingram is a solid fantasy asset. However, past availability issues push him down some draft boards, as fantasy managers have to anticipate at least one extended absence per season.
Ochai Agbaji
Ochai Agbaji to start Wednesday vs. Sacramento
Wed, Oct 8, 2025, 3:05 PM
Josh Lewenberg
Immanuel Quickley, Brandon Ingram, RJ Barrett, Ochai Agbaji and Jonathan Mogbo will start Wednesday's game against the Kings.
Analysis: In addition to Jakob Poellt, the Raptors will be without Scottie Barnes for the team's second preseason game. He'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Agbaji, with Mogbo once again replacing Poeltl. While Agbaji should play rotation minutes once the regular season begins, he offers minimal fantasy value playing behind Barnes, Ingram and Barrett.
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Sandro Mamukelashvili drops 15/6/2/2 line Monday
Mon, Oct 6, 2025, 6:57 PM
Sando Mamukelashvili finished Monday's loss to the Nuggets with 15 points (6-of-8 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Mamukelashvili, who starred for Georgia at EuroBasket this summer, made a positive impression in his Raptors preseason debut. The forward/center made the most of his 23 minutes on the floor, shooting 75 percent from the field and finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Even with Jakob Poeltl sitting out Monday's game, Mamukelashvili came off the bench, with Jonathan Mogbo (6/2/0/2) receiving the starting nod. Given his shooting ability, Mamu will be part of the rotation once the regular season begins. However, his touches may be limited due to Toronto's many scoring options on the perimeter and the wings.
RJ Barrett
RJ Barrett sinks three triples, scores 19 points
Mon, Oct 6, 2025, 6:57 PM
RJ Barrett amassed 19 points (7-of-12 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Monday's loss to the Nuggets.
Analysis: Barrett performed well in Toronto's preseason opener in Vancouver. He played an efficient brand of basketball, whether he was looking for his shot or facilitating. The issue for Barrett in fantasy basketball is how much he will have the ball in his hands. Immanuel Quickley, Brandon Ingram, and Scottie Barnes will all require opportunities to make plays, which may limit Barrett's ceiling. Also, he's never been a great option in category leagues, failing to crack the top-150 in any of his first six NBA seasons. As of Monday evening, Barrett boasted a Yahoo! ADP of 82.4, which is too high given the track record.
Brandon Ingram
Ingram (ankle) scores 19 points in Raptors debut
Mon, Oct 6, 2025, 6:55 PM
Brandon Ingram recorded 19 points (6-of-12 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), one rebound, two assists and one three-pointer in Monday's loss to the Nuggets.
Analysis: Acquired from the Pelicans at the February trade deadline, Monday's exhibition was the first game action for Ingram since December 7. Given the time missed, he looked sharp offensively, shooting 50 percent from the field and only committing one turnover. From a fantasy standpoint, the concern for the Raptors' wings is whether the room will be too crowded. In addition to Ingram, Scottie Barnes (1/4/5/3) and RJ Barrett are in the starting lineup. At the same time, options like Gradey Dick, Ja'Kobe Walter and Ochai Agbaji will compete for rotation minutes off the bench. While he has been a top-100 player six straight seasons, Ingram's injury history makes him challenging to trust in standard leagues.
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Mamukelashvili scores game-high 22 vs. Finland
Wed, Sep 10, 2025, 6:06 AM
Sandro Mamukelashvili tallied 22 points (8-of-15 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Georgia's loss to Finland on Wednesday.
Analysis: Georgia's FIBA EuroBasket run ended in the quarterfinals, as they were unable to fully bounce back from a slow start against Finland. Mamukelashvili, who played well throughout the tournament, led the way offensively and was impactful on both ends of the floor. However, the Georgians could not get any closer than six points before losing by a 93-79 final score. The fourth-quarter ejections of Goga Bitadze and Toko Shengelia for unsportsmanlike fouls were especially impactful for Georgia, which was making its first quarterfinal appearance.
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Mamukelashvili records double-double vs. France
Sun, Sep 7, 2025, 5:12 AM
Sandro Mamukelashvili tallied 14 points (5-of-13 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 11 rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Sunday's win over France.
Analysis: Less than 24 hours after Finland stunned Serbia, Mamukelashvili and Georgia bounced France from FIBA EuroBasket. The Raptors center/forward recorded his first double-double of the event and was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Former Butler guard Kamar Baldwin led the way for the Georgians, dropping 24 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line. Another factor in the outcome was three-point shooting, as Georgia shot 10-of-18 while France made just six of its 36 attempts. Next up for Georgia is a quarterfinal matchup with Finland.
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Sandro Mamukelashvili posts 19/7/6 line vs. Spain
Thu, Aug 28, 2025, 5:12 AM
Sandro Mamukelashvili tallied 19 points (6-of-11 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Georgia's EuroBasket victory over Spain.
Analysis: Mamukelashvili and the Georgians got their EuroBasket campaign off to an excellent start, knocking off the reigning champions Spain on Thursday. Having agreed to a two-year deal with the Raptors at the beginning of free agency, the 6-foot-9 forward stands to take on a more stable role than he did last season with the Spurs. Offensively, Mamukelashvili was efficient, making plays for himself while also leading Georgia in assists. While he'll likely take on a backup role with the Raptors, Mamukelashvili will be worth watching during the preseason, especially if Toronto moves to address its logjam on the wings.
Jamal Shead
Shead produces 16/3/8/2/2 line vs. Denver
Tue, Jul 15, 2025, 4:51 PM
Jamal Shead posted a full line on Tuesday with 16 points (6-of-14 FGs), three rebounds, eight assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Nuggets.
Analysis: Shead was a defensive menace during his rookie season, and that has carried into this summer. He is averaging 11.7 points, six assists and two steals per game this summer, and he should be a valuable reserve heading into his second NBA season, though his statistical upside is limited.
A.J. Lawson
AJ Lawson leads Raptors with 21 points Sunday
Sun, Jul 13, 2025, 2:51 PM
AJ Lawson accounted for 21 points (5-of-5 FGs, 9-of-13 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Sunday's win over the Magic.
Analysis: While Lawson is under contract for the 2025-26 season, it does not become fully guaranteed until January 10. Performances like the one he produced on Sunday may go a long way toward ensuring Lawson hits that guarantee date. He didn't miss a shot from the field against the Magic and helped spark a defense that featured six players with at least two steals. Given Toronto's wing depth, Lawson's chances of achieving fantasy relevance next season are slim. However, there may be streaming opportunities when considering the injury history of some players ahead of him in the pecking order, including Brandon Ingram.
Brandon Ingram
Brandon Ingram (ankle) cleared for contact work
Thu, Jul 10, 2025, 11:01 AM
Josh Lewenberg
Brandon Ingram (ankle) has been cleared to begin contact activities.
Analysis: While Ingram was doing individual work recently, he had yet to be cleared for contact after missing most of last season with an ankle injury. On Thursday, it was announced that the Raptors forward has taken the next step in his recovery and is expected to start scrimmaging soon. Ingram only played in 18 games last season, none with the Raptors, as he injured his ankle in early December and did not play again. His arrival in Toronto will impact the fantasy values of multiple players within the rotation, most notably RJ Barrett.
Jakob Poeltl
Shams: Raptors, Jakob Poeltl agree to extension
Tue, Jul 1, 2025, 8:33 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports Jakob Poeltl has agreed to a four-year, $104 million extension with the Raptors.
Analysis: No surprise here as it's been clear the Raptors covet Poeltl. The 29-year-old center's name was kept out of trade discussions, including when the Raptors were calling on the availability of Kevin Durant before he was traded to Houston. Poeltl averaged 14.5 points and 9.6 rebounds across 57 games for the Raptors last year. He's locked in as the Raptors center for the next four years after picking up his player option and adding three additional years.
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Shams: Raptors sign Sandro Mamukelashvili
Tue, Jul 1, 2025, 7:52 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports Sandro Mamukelashvili has agreed to a two-year, $5.5 million deal with the Raptors.
Analysis: The deal includes a second year player option, according to Charania. Mamukelashvili appeared in 61 games with the Spurs last year, averaging 6.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists. The 26-year-old center shot 37 percent from behind the three-point line on 2.6 three-point attempts per game. Mamukelashvili figures to help space the floor as the backup center in Toronto.
Garrett Temple
Shams: Garrett Temple intends to stay with Raptors
Sat, Jun 28, 2025, 2:33 PM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Garrett Temple intends to sign a one-year, $3.6 million deal to remain with the Raptors.
Analysis: The 39-year-old Temple said at the end of the Raptors' season that he wanted to keep playing. He'll do so with the Raptors for a third consecutive season. Temple only played in 28 games in 2024-25, but he has been an essential figure for the rebuilding Raptors within the locker room. However, he won't impact fantasy basketball next season.
Jakob Poeltl
Reports: TOR not interested in moving Jakob Poeltl
Fri, Jun 20, 2025, 4:54 PM
Marc Stein
According to multiple reports, the Raptors have no interest in trading Jakob Poeltl.
Analysis: With Toronto being one of the teams mentioned as a potential destination for Suns forward Kevin Durant, Poeltl's name came up as part of a possible trade package. However, Michael Grange reported Friday evening that the Raptors are not interested in including Poeltl in a trade for KD. NBA insider Marc Stein confirmed Grange's report and added that the Raptors and Poeltl have “mutual interest” in working out a contract extension. While there is a feeling around the league that Toronto is open to trading down ahead of Wednesday's draft, as they hold the ninth overall pick, there's no desire to move on from their starting center.
Scottie Barnes
Scottie Barnes matches season-high 35 points
Sun, Apr 13, 2025, 12:13 PM
Scottie Barnes led the Raptors with 35 points (15-of-23 FGs), 11 rebounds, eight assists and two three-pointers in a 125-118 win over the Spurs on Sunday.
Analysis: In what has been a disappointing season for both Barnes and the Raptors, he was able to close the season out on a high note. He finishes his fourth season in the NBA with averages of 19.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.4 steals, one block and 1.2 threes per game. Toronto should be more competitive next season with Brandon Ingram and a lottery pick entering the rotation. That should help Barnes bounce back from a disappointing campaign where he shot a career-worst 44.6 percent from the floor.
