Thomas Bryant
Thomas Bryant (calf) remains out for Game 1
Fri, Apr 17, 2026, 11:08 AM
NBA Injury Report
Thomas Bryant (calf) is out for Saturday's Game 1 against the Raptors.
Analysis: Bryant missed Cleveland's final four regular-season games with a strained left calf, and the injury will keep him out for Saturday's series opener as well. With Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley available, Bryant's minutes were going to be limited if he were healthy enough to play.
Immanuel Quickley
Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) questionable vs. CLE
Fri, Apr 17, 2026, 11:04 AM
NBA Injury Report
Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday's Game 1 against the Cavaliers.
Analysis: Quickley had to exit Toronto's regular-season finale due to tightness in his right hamstring, and the injury has been diagnosed as a strain. Ja'Kobe Walter was the replacement the last time that Quickley was the lone unavailable starter for the Raptors, and that may be the case for Game 1. Another candidate to fill the potential void is Jamal Shead.
OG Anunoby
OG Anunoby (ankle) removed from injury report
Fri, Apr 17, 2026, 10:56 AM
NBA Injury Report
OG Anunoby (ankle) is not on the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Hawks.
Analysis: Anunoby sprained his left ankle during the Knicks' April 10 win over the Raptors, sitting out the regular-season finale against the Hornets two days later. He's good to go for Saturday's series opener, and the Knicks will have a clean injury report as Tyler Kolek is also available.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (appendicitis) out for Game 1
Fri, Apr 17, 2026, 9:46 AM
Dave Uram
When asked about Joel Embiid's availability for Game 1, Sixers head coach Nick Nurse said, “I know he's not playing in that one.”
Analysis: No surprise here, as the Sixers were already preparing to be without their superstar center to open up the first-round series against the Celtics. Andre Drummond and Adem Bona will continue to hold things down in the frontcourt until Embiid returns.
Mark Williams
Mark Williams (foot) questionable vs. Warriors
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 2:20 PM
NBA Injury Report
Mark Williams (foot) is questionable for Friday's game against the Warriors.
Analysis: Williams, who sat out the Suns' last regular-season game, logged 22 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Trail Blazers. Oso Ighodaro was his replacement in the starting lineup on most nights during the regular season, and that should remain the case on Friday if Williams can't play.
Quinten Post
Quinten Post (foot) remains out vs. Phoenix
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 2:13 PM
NBA Injury Report
Quinten Post (foot) is out for Friday's game against the Suns.
Analysis: Post, who last appeared in a game on March 29, remains out for Friday's Play-In Tournament game. The Warriors went with an eight-man rotation on Wednesday against the Clippers, and that's likely to remain the case as long as Kristaps Porzi??is (ankle; questionable) is available.
Kristaps Porzingis
Kristaps Porzi??is (ankle) questionable vs. PHX
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 2:11 PM
NBA Injury Report
Kristaps Porzi??is (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Suns.
Analysis: One day removed from playing 28 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Clippers, Porzi??is is on the injury report due to a sore left ankle. If he's unable to play on Friday, the Warriors may turn to Al Horford, who logged 22 minutes on Wednesday. That would mean more minutes for Gary Payton II as well, even though he does not share a position with Porzi??is or Horford.
Moussa Diabate
Moussa Diabaté (hip) questionable vs. Orlando
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 11:08 AM
NBA Injury Report
Moussa Diabaté (hip) is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Diabaté, who finished Tuesday's overtime win over the Heat with eight points, 14 rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in 36 minutes, is dealing with a sore left hip. If he's unable to play on Friday, the Hornets would turn to Ryan Kalkbrenner and Grant Williams to fill the resulting void.
Grayson Allen
Grayson Allen (hamstring) to be game-time decision
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 11:01 AM
Duane Rankin
According to Suns head coach Jordan Ott, Grayson Allen (hamstring) is progressing in his recovery.
Analysis: Allen injured his hamstring during the Suns' penultimate game of the regular season, an April 10 loss to the Lakers. According to Ott, the veteran guard's availability for Friday's Play-In Tournament game against the Warriors will depend on whether he can sprint. Royce O'Neale and Collin Gillespie take on added importance in their respective roles with Allen unavailable.
Jonathan Isaac
Jonathan Isaac (knee) questionable vs. Charlotte
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 10:50 AM
NBA Injury Report
Jonathan Isaac (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets.
Analysis: Isaac has been sidelined for over a month, most recently sitting out Wednesday's loss to the 76ers. While his return would give the Magic another option in the frontcourt, the 6-foot-10 forward's minutes are likely to be limited once he's cleared to play.
Joel Embiid
Shams: 76ers preparing to be without Embiid
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 9:49 AM
ESPN's Shams Charania reports the 76ers are preparing to be without Joel Embiid (appendicitis) to begin the first round of the playoffs.
Analysis: While Embiid's status for the 76ers' first round series against the Hornets hasn't been made official, he's unlikely to be ready for the start of the series. Charania reports the 76ers are preparing to begin the series without their 32-year-old superstar. Paul George and Tyrese Maxey will take on added importance in his absence. Theoretically, Embiid could be available later in the series.
Cade Cunningham
Shams: Cade, Luka now eligible for season honors
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 5:39 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports Cade Cunningham and Luka Doncic will be eligible for all 2025-26 season honors after challenging the NBA's 65-game award rule.
Analysis: The NBA ruled in favor of Cunningham and Doncic on their Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge for the 65-game award rule. Both players will now be eligible for season honors such as MVP and All-NBA teams. Doncic missed two games in December due to the birth of his child and Cunningham suffered a collapsed lung. Minnesota's Anthony Edwards also filed a challenge, but was denied and is not eligible for awards, according to Charania.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (ankle) to miss next two weeks
Thu, Apr 16, 2026, 4:11 AM
Brad Rowland
Jock Landale (ankle) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Analysis: Landale will miss the first round of the playoffs. The 30-year-old center sustained a high ankle sprain against the Magic on April 1 and has progressed in his rehabilitation, but isn't ready to return yet. Mo Gueye and Tony Bradley will be the backup center options for the Hawks in their series against the Knicks.
Bennedict Mathurin
Mathurin contributes 23/3/2/3 line off bench
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 7:25 PM
Bennedict Mathurin led the Clippers with 23 points (7-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, three steals and five three-pointers in a 126-121 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.
Analysis: There were certainly some lows for Mathurin in April, but he was able to end his first season as a Clipper with back-to-back 20-point outings. There aren't any questions about his scoring ability, but he hasn't been able to contribute value in other categories consistently, and that is unlikely to change next season. He's still a talented young guard, and he played well in this game, but that shouldn't change how fantasy managers view him heading into next season.
Kawhi Leonard
Kawhi Leonard held to 21 points in play-in loss
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 7:23 PM
Kawhi Leonard finished with 21 points (8-of-17 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one three-pointer and five turnovers against the Warriors on Wednesday.
Analysis: In what was an amazing season for Leonard, it ended on a sour note. He played in 65 games and had one of the best offensive seasons of his career. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to bring some of that magic into the play-in tournament. His five turnovers were the most he has had in a game since February. Kawhi will turn 35 in June, which certainly means there will be rumors and questions floating around about the Clippers' chances of building a contender around him. Regardless, Leonard is still one of the most talented players in basketball and will have a chance to be a fantasy superstar once again next season, no matter who he suits up for.
Darius Garland
Darius Garland produces 21/5/8 line vs. GSW
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 7:19 PM
Darius Garland contributed 21 points (8-of-15 FGs), five rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two three-pointers against the Warriors on Wednesday.
Analysis: Prior to fouling out, Garland was able to have a productive night in his postseason debut for the Clippers. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for them to stay alive and have a chance to make the playoffs. Garland was acquired at the trade deadline in a deal that sent James Harden to Cleveland. He has been limited by a toe injury for over a year, but when he was finally able to make his debut for the Clippers, he was able to close the year out with a productive stretch. The former All-Star will be a pivotal piece for the Clippers moving forward.
Gui Santos
Gui Santos tallies 20/7/5/1 line vs. LAC
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 7:15 PM
Gui Santos finished with 20 points (9-of-13 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, one steal, two three-pointers and five turnovers against the Clippers on Wednesday.
Analysis: Santos stepped up in a big way for the Warriors during the second half of the season, and that continued into a strong play-in performance for him. He entered the starting lineup when Stephen Curry went down with a knee injury in late January and took full advantage of the opportunity. He ended up signing a three-year, $15 million contract extension with Golden State that may end up looking like a bargain. Santos will continue to be a pivotal piece for the Warriors with the postseason continuing for them on Friday in Phoenix.
Kristaps Porzingis
Kristaps Porzi??is posts 20/5/5/1/2 line vs. LAC
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 7:10 PM
Kristaps Porzi??is lit up the Clippers with 20 points (8-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers on Wednesday.
Analysis: Porzi??is entered the postseason having shot below 40 percent in three straight games. However, he was able to post his best field goal percentage as a Warrior in this game, which contributed to them surviving the 9/10 play-in game. They'll need Porzi??is at his best in Friday's game against the Suns to have a chance to advance to the playoffs. Porzi??is' availability has been limited this season, but when he's been on the floor, his impact has been clear.
Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry drops 35 points, seven triples
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 7:05 PM
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 35 points (12-of-23 FGs), one rebound, four assists, one steal and seven three-pointers in a 126-121 win over the Clippers on Wednesday.
Analysis: Curry came alive late in this game in a way that only he can. He shot 10-of-14 from the floor in the second half and scored 27 points after the break to help bring the Warriors back. He also played 36 minutes, which is the most he has played in a game since December. Curry missed most of the second half of the season with a knee injury, but it didn't seem to limit him in this game. He'll need to have another big performance in Phoenix on Friday for the Warriors to advance to the playoffs.
Paolo Banchero
Paolo Banchero shoots 7-of-22 with six turnovers
Wed, Apr 15, 2026, 5:16 PM
Paolo Banchero finished with 18 points (7-of-22 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one block and six turnovers against the 76ers on Wednesday.
Analysis: This certainly wasn't the performance the Magic were hoping to get out of their star player. Banchero and Franz Wagner combined for just 30 points in the loss, though Banchero's inefficiencies stuck out. He also shot 7-of-22 and had six turnovers in the regular season finale on Sunday. They'll need him to be much better against the Hornets on Friday to keep their season alive.
