Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) scores 24 in return
Sat, Mar 7, 2026, 2:39 PM
Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) amassed 24 points (10-of-15 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Hawks.
Analysis: Back in the 76ers' lineup after a two-game absence, Oubre looked spry in his 36 minutes on the court. The lone negatives for him were the free-throw percentage and turnovers, with Oubre going 1-of-3 from the charity stripe and committing five turnovers. Depending on what happens with Tyrese Maxey, who injured his right hand during the fourth quarter, Oubre could move up in the offensive pecking order for Philadelphia's five-game Week 20.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes records 26/6/3/2 line vs. Atlanta
Sat, Mar 7, 2026, 2:39 PM
Quentin Grimes accounted for 26 points (9-of-15 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Hawks.
Analysis: With VJ Edgecome (back) once again sidelined, Grimes remained in the starting lineup despite Kelly Oubre Jr.'s return to action. And he produced a solid stat line, shooting 66.7 percent from the field. The 26 points were two points shy of a season-high for Grimes, who entered Saturday having totaled 32 points in his prior four appearances. Depending on the severity of Tyrese Maxey's hand injury, Grimes could be a player of even greater importance during Philadelphia's five-game Week 20.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey (hand) exits late in fourth quarter
Sat, Mar 7, 2026, 2:39 PM
Gina Mizell
Tyrese Maxey (hand) finished Saturday's loss to the Hawks with 31 points (12-of-22 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, three steals and three three-pointers.
Analysis: While Maxey finished Saturday's defeat with an excellent stat line, that was the furthest thing from anyone's mind when he left with 16.2 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. The All-Star guard injured his right hand when he collided with teammate Adem Bona. Maxey was scheduled to undergo X-rays on the hand, but no announcement has been made regarding the injury's severity. If he has to miss time, Cam Payne and even Kyle Lowry could figure more prominently within the 76ers' rotation.
Kelly Oubre
PHI starts Maxey. Grimes, Oubre, Barlow, Bona
Sat, Mar 7, 2026, 11:40 AM
NBA Lineups
Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes, Kelly Oubre Jr., Dominick Barlow and Adem Bona will start Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Analysis: Oubre is back after missing the last two gams with an illness. With VJ Edgecombe (back) out, Grimes will remain in the starting five, with Oubre pushing Trendon Watford to the bench.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) good to go Saturday
Fri, Mar 6, 2026, 8:35 AM
Adam Aaronson
Sixers beat writer Adam Aaronson reports that Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) will play in Saturday's matchup with the Hawks.
Analysis: Oubre Jr. will be back in action following two games on the sideline, which should send Quentin Grimes back to the bench. Grimes' production in his pair of spot starts was a bit underwhelming, so fantasy managers who streamed him won't be heartbroken by this development.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (oblique) out at least one more week
Fri, Mar 6, 2026, 8:25 AM
Noah Levick
NBC's Noah Levick reports that Joel Embiid (oblique) will be re-evaluated in one week.
Analysis: Embiid has missed three straight games and eight of the 76ers' last 10. Philly is just 2-6 across Embiid's last eight absences, and the team will hope to get him back sooner rather than later. Until Embiid is back in action, Andre Drummond and Adem Bona should continue to soak up minutes in the frontcourt.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes scores 18 points in win over Utah
Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 4:03 PM
Quentin Grimes accounted for 18 points (7-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in Wednesday's win over the Jazz.
Analysis: After shooting 1-of-5 from the field and scoring two points in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs, Grimes received another opportunity to impress on Wednesday. He took advantage of the opportunity, shooting 7-of-8 from two in his 31 minutes. Grimes missed all four of his three-point attempts, but the overall output was solid. Whether he gets another start when the 76ers face the Hawks on Saturday depends on the availability of VJ Edgecombe (back) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness), who did not play against Utah.
Jabari Walker
Jabari Walker drops 22 points, 10 rebounds
Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 4:03 PM
Jabari Walker amassed 22 points (7-of-12 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and four three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Jazz.
Analysis: There's no such thing as “garbage time” when you're looking to earn more opportunities. Walker made the most of his minutes in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Spurs, scoring 20 points and earning rotation minutes on Wednesday. The 76ers forward put up an efficient 22 points and recorded a double-double against the Jazz, making some personal history. This is the first time in Walker's NBA career that he's scored at least 20 points in consecutive games. The 76ers don't play again until Saturday in Atlanta, so some of the absent players could be available. If not, don't be surprised if head coach Nick Nurse gives Walker another opportunity. He's earned it.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey leads 76ers with 25 points, full line
Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 4:02 PM
Tyrese Maxey finished Wednesday's win over the Jazz with 25 points (8-of-22 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, one steal, three blocks and two three-pointers.
Analysis: After putting up an inefficient 33 points in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Spurs, Maxey didn't have the best night shooting the basketball against the Jazz, either. Given the players who were unavailable for the 76ers, it's unsurprising that Maxey would struggle because of the attention he's received defensively. The good news for fantasy managers was that he recorded a complete stat line, including three blocks. The three rejections matched his season-high, which he recorded on two other occasions.
Trendon Watford
PHI starts Maxey, Grimes, Watford, Barlow, Bona
Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 1:15 PM
NBA Lineups
Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes, Trendon Watford, Dominick Barlow and Adem Bona will start Wednesday's game against the Jazz.
Analysis: The 76ers won't have VJ Edgecombe (back) or Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) for Wednesday's game, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. Grimes will remain with the first five after filling in for Oubre on Tuesday, and Watford will make a spot start. The league announced Andre Drummond as a starter, but it will be Bona who starts at the five.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre (illness) remains out vs. Utah
Wed, Mar 4, 2026, 7:23 AM
NBA Injury Report
Kelly Oubre (illness) has been ruled out against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Analysis: This will be a second straight absence for Oubre, which means Quentin Grimes should start once again. He struggled mightily in Tuesday's blowout loss and was held to just two points, but he should get the opportunity to bounce back against Utah.
Jabari Walker
Jabari Walker chips in 20 points off bench
Tue, Mar 3, 2026, 5:39 PM
Jabari Walker provided a boost off the bench with 20 points (7-of-10 FGs), six rebounds and two three-pointers against the Spurs on Tuesday.
Analysis: There aren't typically bright spots in a 40-point loss, but Walker was able to have a solid night off the bench. He earned a two-year contract over the All-Star break after playing well to start the year on a two-way deal. This was a new season high for scoring for him, though managers shouldn't expect this type of production to come consistently.
Cameron Payne
Cameron Payne starts second half vs. Spurs
Tue, Mar 3, 2026, 5:34 PM
Cameron Payne started the second half on Tuesday and contributed 10 points (4-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, two steals and two three-pointers against the Spurs
Analysis: Payne signed with the 76ers during the All-Star break and immediately slotted in as a reserve ball handler. That didn't lead to much production in the box score prior to this game. He scored in double figures for the first time this season and started the second half following VJ Edgecombe's early departure with a back injury after a hard fall. Payne could get the starting nod if Edgecombe remains out against the 76ers on Wednesday, which would make him an intriguing streaming option on a day with just six games.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes disappoints as starter vs. Spurs
Tue, Mar 3, 2026, 5:29 PM
Quentin Grimes started on Tuesday and contributed two points (1-of-5 FGs), two rebounds, one assist and one steal against the Spurs.
Analysis: With Kelly Oubre (illness) sidelined, Grimes got the starting nod for the first time since December. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to take advantage. Grimes has slowed down after a strong start to the season, and this would have been a good opportunity for him to provide value. If Oubre remains out against the Jazz on Wednesday, Grimes should perform better in a more favorable matchup.
Quentin Grimes
PHI starts Maxey, Edgecombe, Grimes, Barlow, Andre
Tue, Mar 3, 2026, 1:34 PM
Paul Hudrick
Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Quentin Grimes, Dominick Barlow and Andre Drummond will start Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: The 76ers are still without Joel Embiid, and Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) has joined him on the sidelines. Grimes moves into the starting lineup, and this change raises his fantasy ceiling considerably. Drummond continues to start for Embiid.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) out Tuesday vs. Spurs
Tue, Mar 3, 2026, 7:12 AM
NBA Injury Report
Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) is out for Tuesday's matchup with the Spurs.
Analysis: With Paul George still suspended, Quentin Grimes could see a big uptick in minutes due to Oubre Jr.'s absence.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey has 33 points in loss to Celtics
Sun, Mar 1, 2026, 4:52 PM
Tyrese Maxey had 33 points (12-of-34 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers in Sunday's loss to the Celtics.
Analysis: Maxey led the 76ers in points, but needed ridiculous volume to get there ??" 34 field-goal attempts is three short of cracking the top 100 all-time in attempts in a game. The 25-year-old point guard started the game 5-of-20 from the field and the 76ers while Maxey was -9 in 42 minutes. Maxey has provided second overall per game value over the last two weeks. The 76ers have three games in the upcoming week, starting with a matchup against the Spurs on Tuesday.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (oblique) out at least three games
Sat, Feb 28, 2026, 1:43 PM
Derek Bodner
Joel Embiid (oblique) will miss at least the next three games.
Analysis: Injured during Thursday's win over the Heat, Embiid has been diagnosed with a strained right oblique. He'll miss at least three games before being re-evaluated, starting with Sunday's game against the Celtics. When Embiid has been out, the 76ers have started Andre Drummond, with Adem Bona remaining in the backup center role. Look for that to be the case on Sunday.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre Jr. hits three triples, scores 21
Thu, Feb 26, 2026, 3:32 PM
Kelly Oubre Jr. finished Thursday's win over the Heat with 21 points (8-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Since shooting 0-of-6 from the field and scoring two points in the 76ers' February 11 blowout loss to the Knicks, Oubre has hit double figures in five straight games. This run includes two games with at least 21, with the 76ers' wing producing a solid stat line against the Heat. Rostered in 37 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Oubre has been a top-100 player in nine-cat formats. With Paul George suspended for 13 more games, Oubre is worth the risk in some 12-team leagues if he's still on the waiver wire.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (ribs) drops 26/11/4/1 stat line
Thu, Feb 26, 2026, 3:31 PM
Joel Embiid (ribs) tallied 26 points (8-of-20 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Thursday's win over the Heat.
Analysis: While Embiid's knee has been the focus of most fantasy managers' attention this season, it was his ribs that were the problem on Thursday. The 7-footer took an inadvertent hit to his right side during the second quarter and appeared to struggle with the pain at various points for the rest of the game. However, this didn't keep Embiid from knocking down a dagger three-pointer with 29.2 seconds remaining, giving the 76ers a 124-117 lead that would hold as the final score. The good news is that Philadelphia is off until Sunday. Hopefully, that time off benefits Embiid.
