Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes chips in with 19 points vs. LAC
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 4:04 PM
Quentin Grimes amassed 19 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Analysis: While he wasn't in the starting lineup to begin Monday's game, Grimes was effectively the 76ers' “sixth starter.” Replacing Dominick Barlow in the lineup to start the third quarter, he played 36 minutes, with only Tyrese Maxey, Andre Drummond and VJ Edgecombe playing more. Rostered in 41 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Grimes will be worth holding onto for the foreseeable future. In addition to Paul George's minutes restriction, the 76ers have to navigate Kelly Oubre Jr.'s (knee) absence. Grimes won't lack opportunities, and he's providing top-100 value in nine-cat formats.
Andre Drummond
Andre Drummond grabs 18 rebounds vs. Clippers
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 4:01 PM
Andre Drummond accumulated 14 points (5-of-8 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 18 rebounds, one steal and one three-pointer in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Analysis: Drummond continues to provide solid value as Joel Embiid's replacement in the starting lineup. On Monday, the veteran center recorded his fourth double-double in as many games and was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Rostered in 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Drummond has provided fourth-round per-game value in nine-cat formats over his last four games. With Embiid lacking a definitive timeline to return, adding Drummond would be a good idea.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) plays 21 MIN in season debut
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 3:59 PM
Paul George (knee) tallied nine points (2-of-9 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one three-pointer in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Analysis: Making his first appearance of the season, George was on a minutes restriction on Monday. Given the time missed, it's unsurprising that he was rusty offensively. However, the veteran wing did provide solid value in the rebound and blocked shot categories. George was used at both forward positions, starting the second half at the four with Quentin Grimes replacing Dominick Barlow (7/1/0/3). Obviously, George's restriction isn't going away anytime soon. And with a midweek back-to-back, fantasy managers should anticipate him sitting out either Wednesday's game against Toronto or Thursday's game in Milwaukee.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey scores game-high 39 points vs. LAC
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 3:53 PM
Tyrese Maxey finished Monday's win over the Clippers with 39 points (13-of-27 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and four three-pointers.
Analysis: Maxey came up big for the 76ers when they needed him most, scoring 14 of his game-high 39 points during the fourth quarter. There were two turnovers within six seconds of each other in the final minute, but the point guard received some welcome help from his teammates to close out the comeback victory. Even with Paul George back in the lineup, Philadelphia's offense still runs through Maxey, which is good news for those who have him rostered.
Paul George
PHI starts Maxey, VJ, George, Barlow, Drummond
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 12:43 PM
NBA Lineups
Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Paul George, Dominick Barlow and Andre Drummond will start Monday's game against the Clippers.
Analysis: At long last, George will make his season debut on Monday. He will be under a minutes restriction, so fantasy managers should not expect too much from the veteran forward in his first game back. He steps into the void left by Kelly Oubre Jr., who is out with a sprained left knee. The other change to the lineup is Barlow, who began the season as a starter and will resume those duties with Trendon Watford heading to the bench.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) expected to debut Monday
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 8:11 AM
Shams Charania
Paul George (knee) is expected to make his season debut on Monday against the Clippers.
Analysis: It's unclear if George will face a minutes restriction when he returns, but regardless, his availability will likely siphon playing time from Trendon Watford, Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) ruled out Monday vs. Clippers
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 11:51 AM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) is out for Monday's game against the Clippers.
Analysis: Embiid remains out for a third consecutive game as he recovers from a sore right knee. Given his lower-body injury issues in the past, this is definitely concerning for the 76ers and for fantasy managers. Andre Drummond should serve as the starting center as long as Embiid is out.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) questionable Monday vs. LAC
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 11:45 AM
NBA Injury Report
Paul George (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers.
Analysis: With George being listed as questionable on the initial injury report, this may be the closest he's been to appearing in a game this season. Given the time missed, fantasy managers should assume the veteran forward's minutes will be limited. George's availability impacts Trendon Watford the most, as he's been the most recent starter at power forward. However, with Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) out, Watford's opportunities may not be impacted.
Adem Bona
Adem Bona (ankle) will miss the next three games
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 7:31 AM
Adem Bona (ankle) will miss at least the next three games.
Analysis: Bona is dealing with a right ankle sprain. The 22-year-old power forward will miss the next three games before being re-evaluated. It's unclear when Bona will return to the court. With Joel Embiid dealing with a knee injury, Andre Drummond is the next man up for the 76ers.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre Jr. has LCL injury, to see specialist
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 7:26 AM
Kyle Neubeck
Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) suffered an LCL injury and will meet with specialists.
Analysis: Oubre left Friday's game against the Pistons with a knee injury. Now the 29-year-old small forward is set to see a specialist after being diagnosed with an LCL (lateral collateral ligament) injury. Oubre is without a timetable for return. Quentin Grimes would be in line for a bigger role and boost in fantasy value while Oubre is out.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey has 31 points in loss to Pistons
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 4:16 PM
Tyrese Maxey had 31 points (13-of-31 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, four steals and two three-pointers against the Pistons on Friday.
Analysis: Maxey had at least 30 points for the third time in his last four games. The 25-year-old point guard has had at least 21 points in every game he's played this season. The three assists Maxey had Friday were his lowest total of the season. The 76ers are off until Monday against the Clippers.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) will not return vs. Detroit
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 3:28 PM
Keith Pompey
Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) will not return to Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: Oubre's early exit should lead to Quentin Grimes taking on a larger role and being part of the closing unit. If Oubre remains out past this game, Grimes could slide into the starting lineup and see a boost in minutes and usage.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) remains out vs. Detroit
Thu, Nov 13, 2025, 11:37 AM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) has been ruled out against the Pistons on Friday.
Analysis: Embiid will miss a second straight game despite the update from ESPN's Shams Charania that there isn't any structural damage in his knee. It's unclear how much longer he'll be out, but Andre Drummond will get at least one more start with Embiid unavailable.
Dominick Barlow
Dominick Barlow (elbow) available vs. Detroit
Thu, Nov 13, 2025, 10:10 AM
NBA Injury Report
Dominick Barlow (elbow) is available to play against the Pistons on Friday.
Analysis: Barlow started the first two games of the season but hasn't suited up since then. Trendon Watford is now the starting power forward, and he has played well, which likely will leave Barlow in a reserve role.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) remains out vs. Pistons
Thu, Nov 13, 2025, 6:53 AM
Adam Aaronson
Paul George (knee) will be out for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: The 76ers said that George was close to returning, but they have not provided any update on his status since earlier in the week. He will not play on Friday, and we'll continue to wait for word on when he may make his season debut.
Joel Embiid
Shams: Joel Embiid (knee) considered day-to-day
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 6:33 PM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports Joel Embiid (knee) does not have any structural damage and is considered day-to-day.
Analysis: Embiid did not play in Tuesday's win over the Celtics due to a sore right knee. It's important to note that it was the left knee that gave him trouble in the past, with the former MVP undergoing another procedure during the offseason. Philadelphia doesn't play again until Friday in Detroit, but that may not be enough time for Embiid to return to full strength. Andre Drummond has been the replacement in the starting lineup with Adem Bona serving as his backup.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) to be evaluated later this week
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 6:28 PM
Shams Charania
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Paul George (knee) will be evaluated later this week.
Analysis: George is making progress in his recovery from offseason knee surgery, but he remains without a concrete return timeline. He'll be re-evaluated later this week, with Charania reporting that team doctors want George to further strengthen his left quad muscle to help support his left knee. So, nothing has really changed for those who have him rostered. Continue to stash him in an IL+ slot and hold out hope that a return isn't too far away. Trendon Watford struggled in Tuesday's win over the Celtics but should remain the starting power forward for now.
Tyrese Maxey
Maxey chips in 21 points, nine assists in comeback win
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 5:55 PM
Tyrese Maxey delivered 21 points (5-of-17 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, nine assists, and one steal over 33 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Celtics.
Analysis: Maxey continues to be one of the most impactful scorers in the fantasy landscape, eclipsing the 20-point mark in 11consecutive contests to open the season. The 25-year-old rising star didn't exactly light it up in this one, but he came alive in the second half to help spark a late comeback effort. He dished out nine assists to finish just shy of his third double-double performance of the year.
Andre Drummond
Drummond delivers 14 points, 13 boards in win
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 5:54 PM
Andre Drummond chipped in 14 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 13 rebounds and one block over 33 minutes during Tuesday's victory over the Celtics.
Analysis: Drummond exploited Boston's lack of frontcourt size to close out the first half with back-to-back buckets in the paint to finish with 10 points as Philadelphia raced out to a 51-41 lead. The 14-year-veteran drew the starting assignment with Joel Embiid out with right knee soreness. He and fellow big man Adem Bona figure to see an uptick in minutes while Embiid is sidelined to undergo further evaluation and testing to determine the severity of the issue.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) now ruled out vs. Boston
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 7:34 AM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) has been ruled out against the Celtics on Tuesday.
Analysis: Embiid wasn't initially on the injury report, and this isn't a back-to-back, which makes this update scary. Hopefully it's just an opportunity for them to get him some extra rest since they only have one more game left this week. Andre Drummond should be in line for another start, with Adem Bona filling out the reserve minutes.
