Paul George
Paul George (ankle) questionable Friday vs. BKN
Thu, Nov 27, 2025, 12:17 PM
NBA Injury Report
Paul George (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Nets.
Analysis: George practiced on Wednesday and is considered questionable for Friday's matchup with the Nets. If he can play, Dominick Barlow is the player most likely headed to the bench. And with Trendon Watford (adductor) out for at least two weeks, the 76ers could really use an infusion of depth at the forward positions.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) out Friday vs. Brooklyn
Thu, Nov 27, 2025, 12:13 PM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) is out for Friday's game against the Nets.
Analysis: Embiid, who has missed Philadelphia's last eight games, was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. He'll miss at least one more game, but the 76ers do have another game on Sunday before the end of Week 6. Andre Drummond will serve as the starting center until Embiid is healthy enough to play.
Adem Bona
Adem Bona (ankle) probable Friday vs. Brooklyn
Thu, Nov 27, 2025, 12:06 PM
NBA Injury Report
Adem Bona (ankle) is probable for Friday's game against the Nets.
Analysis: Bona is closing in on a return after missing the last five games with a sprained right ankle. His return would give the 76ers additional depth at the center position, especially with Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined. However, there isn't much to gain from rostering Bona as long as Andre Drummond is healthy. He'll continue to start for Embiid, absorbing most of the available minutes.
Trendon Watford
Trendon Watford (adductor) out at least 2 weeks
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 8:46 AM
Noah Levick
Trendon Watford (adductor) will be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to Sixers reporter Noah Levick.
Analysis: Watford is the latest addition to Philadelphia's growing injury report. Until he's ready to return, Dominick Barlow and Jabari Walker will pick up extra playing time.
Paul George
Paul George, VJ Edgecombe practice Wednesday
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 8:43 AM
Noah Levick
According to Sixers reporter Noah Levick, Paul George (ankle) and VJ Edgecombe (calf) went through Wednesday's practice.
Analysis: It's an encouraging update for the Sixers who are also without Trendon Watford (adductor) and Kelly Oubre (knee) for at least the next two weeks. Joel Embiid (knee) has been out for the last eight games, so Philly is sorely shorthanded right now. If George and Edgecombe are forced to sit out Friday's matchup with the Nets, Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards, Eric Gordon and Dominick Barlow will pick up the slack by committee.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) gets in limited session
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 8:29 AM
Noah Levick
According to Sixers reporter Noah Levick, Joel Embiid (knee) went through an individual strength and conditioning session on Wednesday.
Analysis: Embiid has missed eight straight games, and he's in danger of extending that streak of absences. Embiid's limited session means he should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with the Nets. If Embiid sits that one out, expect Andre Drummond to remain in the starting five.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey leads 76ers with 20 points in rout
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 4:57 PM
Tyrese Maxey finished Tuesday's loss to the Magic with 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), one rebound, four assists, one steal and one three-pointer.
Analysis: The 76ers were outscored in the second quarter by a 51-25 margin, putting Tuesday's NBA Cup matchup out of reach. If there was a silver lining for Philadelphia, it's that they were able to get Maxey some extra rest, even though he still played 32 minutes. With Joel Embiid and Paul George dealing with injuries, the 76ers have needed even more from Maxey, and he's answered the call on most nights. That wasn't the case on Tuesday, but he'll look to bounce back on Friday against the Nets.
Trendon Watford
Trendon Watford (adductor) will not return Tuesday
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 3:31 PM
Austin Krell
Trendon Watford (adductor) will not return to Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Watford suffered a strained left adductor while dribbling up the floor during the second quarter, collapsing to the court immediately after feeling the injury. He had to be helped to the locker room and has since been ruled out for the rest of the night. The 76ers will have to rely even more on Dominick Barlow in the front court, and Jabari Walker picked up a few minutes after Watford's injury.
Dominick Barlow
PHI starts Maxey, Grimes, Edwards, Barlow, Andre
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 1:37 PM
Ky Carlin
Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards, Dominick Barlow and Andre Drummond will start Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Already playing without Joel Embiid, the 76ers won't have Paul George for Tuesday's game, either. As a result, Barlow joins Drummond in the starting frontcourt, and he's worth a look in deep leagues since there are only three games on Tuesday's schedule.
Paul George
Paul George (ankle) out Tuesday vs. Magic
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 6:46 AM
Paul George (ankle) is out for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: George was initially listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Magic, but he'll ultimately miss the contest with a sprained right ankle. Even if George was active, he'd have been on a minutes restriction. Trendon Watford had 19 points, nine rebounds and seven assists against the Heat on Sunday and could see more minutes off the bench with George out.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) available Tuesday vs. ORL
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 6:42 AM
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) is available for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: No surprise here as Maxey was initially listed as probable with a shoulder injury. The 25-year-old point guard suffered a sprained right shoulder during Sunday's loss to the Heat. Now that he's been cleared, expect Maxey to play without limitations against the Magic on Tuesday.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) out Tuesday vs. Magic
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 6:35 AM
Joel Embiid (knee) is out for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Embiid is set to miss his seventh consecutive game for the 76ers as he continues to manage a knee injury. Andre Drummond will remain in the starting lineup and should be rostered in most formats. Embiid's next chance to return to game action will come on Friday against the Nets.
Paul George
Paul George (ankle) probable Tuesday vs. Orlando
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 11:54 AM
NBA Injury Report
Paul George (ankle) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: George has a sprained right ankle, but it does not appear severe enough to keep him out of Tuesday's game. The veteran forward will be under a minutes restriction, as he continues to work his way back from an offseason knee procedure.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) probable Tuesday vs. ORL
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 11:51 AM
NBA Injury Report
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Maxey suffered a sprained right shoulder during the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Heat but managed to play through the issue until the outcome was no longer in doubt. The probable tag suggests he will be available for Tuesday's game, taking on his usual role as Philadelphia's first scoring option.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) questionable Tuesday vs. ORL
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 11:40 AM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Embiid has missed Philadelphia's last six games, with Andre Drummond replacing him in the starting lineup. Drummond should be rostered, even if Embiid does play, as the former MVP will likely be under a minutes restriction.
Adem Bona
Adem Bona (ankle) ruled out Tuesday vs. Orlando
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 10:07 AM
Adam Aaronson
Adem Bona (ankle) is out for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
Analysis: Bona has missed Philadelphia's last four games with a sprained right ankle, and Tuesday's game will push the unfortunate streak to five. However, he said on Monday that he's feeling better, so a return may not be far off. With Joel Embiid (knee) also out, Andre Drummond will continue to play significant minutes as the starting center.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes scores 15 points in spot start
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:34 AM
Quentin Grimes finished Sunday's loss to the Heat with 15 points (6-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three assists, one block and two three-pointers.
Analysis: Grimes made his first start of the season on Sunday, filling the void left by the injured VJ Edgecombe. He wasn't as impactful as he's been in previous appearances this season, but Grimes remains a player who needs to be rostered in 14-team leagues. Managers in 12-team formats may hold off for a bit, especially with the 76ers playing only one of their three Week 6 games before Thanksgiving.
Trendon Watford
Trendon Watford posts 19/9/7/1/1 line vs. Miami
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:33 AM
Trendon Watford tallied 19 points (7-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Heat.
Analysis: With Paul George (10/2/5/1/1 in 20 minutes) still under a minutes restriction, there's a little more room for Watford to have an impact off the bench. The versatile forward had a good afternoon against the Heat, recording a complete stat line in 26 minutes off the bench. However, with the 76ers only playing one game before Thanksgiving, there's no need to consider adding Watford to start Week 6.
Andre Drummond
Andre Drummond grabs season-high 23 rebounds
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:33 AM
Andre Drummond recorded 14 points (6-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 23 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one three-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Heat.
Analysis: Having fouled out after playing just 18 minutes in Thursday's overtime win over the Bucks, Drummond appeared determined to bounce back on Sunday. He did just that, recording his seventh double-double of the season with a season-high 23 rebounds. Despite providing top-100 fantasy value and filling in admirably for Joel Embiid, Drummond is rostered in 29 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which is way too low given his role. The 76ers play three games during Week 6, starting with the Magic on Tuesday.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) scores 27 points vs. MIA
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:32 AM
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) finished Sunday's loss to the Heat with 27 points (10-of-23 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals and five three-pointers.
Analysis: While Maxey once again led the way offensively for the 76ers, there is an injury concern coming out of Sunday's loss. The point guard appeared to injure his shoulder during the first quarter. While his playing time was not impacted, with Maxey logging 36 minutes, he departed for the locker room immediately after being subbed out with 1:29 remaining in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia hosts Orlando on Tuesday; keep an eye out for Maxey's name on the Monday afternoon injury report.
