Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes scores 15 points in spot start
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:34 AM
Quentin Grimes finished Sunday's loss to the Heat with 15 points (6-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three assists, one block and two three-pointers.
Analysis: Grimes made his first start of the season on Sunday, filling the void left by the injured VJ Edgecombe. He wasn't as impactful as he's been in previous appearances this season, but Grimes remains a player who needs to be rostered in 14-team leagues. Managers in 12-team formats may hold off for a bit, especially with the 76ers playing only one of their three Week 6 games before Thanksgiving.
Trendon Watford
Trendon Watford posts 19/9/7/1/1 line vs. Miami
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:33 AM
Trendon Watford tallied 19 points (7-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Heat.
Analysis: With Paul George (10/2/5/1/1 in 20 minutes) still under a minutes restriction, there's a little more room for Watford to have an impact off the bench. The versatile forward had a good afternoon against the Heat, recording a complete stat line in 26 minutes off the bench. However, with the 76ers only playing one game before Thanksgiving, there's no need to consider adding Watford to start Week 6.
Andre Drummond
Andre Drummond grabs season-high 23 rebounds
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:33 AM
Andre Drummond recorded 14 points (6-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 23 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one three-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Heat.
Analysis: Having fouled out after playing just 18 minutes in Thursday's overtime win over the Bucks, Drummond appeared determined to bounce back on Sunday. He did just that, recording his seventh double-double of the season with a season-high 23 rebounds. Despite providing top-100 fantasy value and filling in admirably for Joel Embiid, Drummond is rostered in 29 percent, which is way too low given his role. The 76ers play three games during Week 6, starting with the Magic on Tuesday.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) scores 27 points vs. MIA
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 9:32 AM
Tyrese Maxey (shoulder) finished Sunday's loss to the Heat with 27 points (10-of-23 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals and five three-pointers.
Analysis: While Maxey once again led the way offensively for the 76ers, there is an injury concern coming out of Sunday's loss. The point guard appeared to injure his shoulder during the first quarter. While his playing time was not impacted, with Maxey logging 36 minutes, he departed for the locker room immediately after being subbed out with 1:29 remaining in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia hosts Orlando on Tuesday; keep an eye out for Maxey's name on the Monday afternoon injury report.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes starting for Edgecombe Sunday
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 6:36 AM
Philadelphia 76ers
Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards, Paul George and Andre Drummond will start Sunday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: The 76ers remain without Joel Embiid, and Drummond will be the starting center until that changes. The other absentee is VJ Edgecombe, who is out with left calf tightness. He's replaced in the lineup by Grimes, who was already playing well enough to be rostered in deep leagues. The move into the starting five makes him a worthwhile streamer in 12-team formats, and maybe some 10-teamers as well.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) ruled out Sunday vs. Miami
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 12:06 PM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: Embiid will miss a sixth straight game due to what the 76ers are describing as right knee injury management. Given his history of lower-body injuries, it's unclear when Embiid will be healthy enough to play. Andre Drummond should be rostered wherever he's available until the former MVP can play without any restrictions.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) scores 21 points in 25 minutes
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 5:15 PM
Paul George (knee) accounted for 21 points (7-of-12 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Thursday's win over the Bucks.
Analysis: George came out scalding hot on Thursday, scoring 11 of the game's first 15 points. He remains on a minutes restriction, which nailed PG to the bench in crunch time and the extra period, but he made the most of his 25 minutes. It's unknown when George's restriction will be removed, but Thursday showed that he's capable of providing reliable value immediately. The 76ers host Miami in their final game of Week 5 on Sunday, and it isn't part of a back-to-back.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey drops career-high 54 points vs. Bucks
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 5:14 PM
Tyrese Maxey amassed 54 points (18-of-30 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), five rebounds, nine assists, three steals, three blocks and six three-pointers in Thursday's win over the Bucks.
Analysis: Paul George set the tone for the 76ers on Thursday, but it was Maxey who came through with a truly transcendent performance. Recording his fourth career 50-point game, the 76ers guard finished with a career-high total. Add in the overall stat line, and this was another great night to have Maxey rostered. He's been among the best players in fantasy basketball this season and should be in the running for his second All-Star Game appearance.
Paul George
PHI starts Maxey, VJ, George, Edwards, Drummond
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 1:35 PM
NBA Lineups
Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Justin Edwards, Paul George and Andre Drummond will start Thursday's game against the Bucks.
Analysis: George is back after sitting out Wednesday's loss to the Raptors. He'll serve as the small-ball power forward in this lineup, with Dominick Barlow heading to the bench. While he should remain in the rotation, Barlow is unlikely to get the opportunities needed to impact fantasy basketball.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) will play on Thursday vs Bucks
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 8:46 AM
Adam Aaronson
Paul George (knee) is not listed on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Bucks.
Analysis: George made his debut on Monday in 21 minutes against the Clippers, but then sat out on Wednesday against the Raptors. He'll now return on Thursday and should continue to play minutes in the mid-20s. We should not expect the 35-year-old to play in both ends of a back-to-back for a few weeks, so he will remain off fantasy radars in shallower formats for now.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) remains out on Thursday
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 8:43 AM
NBA.com
Joel Embiid (knee) has been ruled out against the Bucks on Thursday.
Analysis: This is now the fifth straight missed game for Embiid as he battles right knee issues, which is not the knee he had surgery on in the offseason. Andre Drummond will continue to start in his place and be useful in fantasy leagues due to his rebounding and defensive value.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes chips in with 21/2/2/2 stat line
Wed, Nov 19, 2025, 3:31 PM
Quentin Grimes finished Wednesday's loss to the Raptors with 21 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, two steals and four three-pointers.
Analysis: Despite Philadelphia not having Paul George or Kelly Oubre for Wednesday's game, Grimes was still used in a reserve role. Justin Edwards (8/2/2/1 in 23 minutes) was the choice, but after a quiet first half, Grimes replaced him in the lineup to begin the third quarter. Even if George can play in Thursday's game against the Bucks, Grimes has played well enough this season to merit being rostered in some 12-team leagues.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey scores game-high 24 points vs. TOR
Wed, Nov 19, 2025, 3:30 PM
Tyrese Maxey finished Wednesday's loss to the Raptors with 24 points (8-of-14 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, nine assists, three steals, one block and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Maxey once again led the way offensively for the 76ers, and he remains efficient despite the attention he draws from opposing defenses. Maxey has dropped outside of the first round in 12-team leagues in nine-cat formats, but he has maintained that value in eight-cat. Given the absences in Philadelphia, Maxey's going to turn the ball over more than he has in the past. However, he's managed to keep that in check, committing three turnovers on Wednesday.
Kelly Oubre
Report: Kelly Oubre (knee) out at least two weeks
Wed, Nov 19, 2025, 12:49 PM
Tony Jones
According to Tony Jones of The Athletic, Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) is out for at least two weeks.
Analysis: Injured during the 76ers' November 14 loss to the Pistons, Oubre has been diagnosed with a sprained LCL. The good news for Philadelphia is that Paul George made his season debut on Monday, but his playing time will be limited due to injury management. With George unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors, Justin Edwards steps into the starting lineup. However, Quentin Grimes is the best streaming option with Oubre sidelined.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) officially out vs. Toronto
Wed, Nov 19, 2025, 9:41 AM
Derek Bodner
Joel Embiid (knee) has been ruled out against the Raptors on Wednesday.
Analysis: Embiid was initially doubtful, so his fourth straight absence isn't surprising. Andre Drummond should be in line for another start, and he should continue to be rostered in every league as long as Embiid is sidelined.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) doubtful Wednesday vs. Toronto
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 12:01 PM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Analysis: Embiid is on track to miss a fourth straight game due to right knee injury management. Andre Drummond has been the replacement in the starting lineup and will retain that role until Embiid is healthy enough to play. Drummond should be rostered wherever possible.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) ruled out vs. Toronto
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 11:46 AM
NBA Injury Report
Paul George (knee) has been ruled out against the Raptors on Wednesday.
Analysis: George logged 21 minutes in his season debut on Monday, but he'll be held out against Toronto. This is the first night of a back-to-back, so George should suit up against the Bucks on Thursday. Quentin Grimes or Justin Edwards should fill in as a starter, with Grimes playing a larger role regardless of who gets the nod.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes chips in with 19 points vs. LAC
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 4:04 PM
Quentin Grimes amassed 19 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Analysis: While he wasn't in the starting lineup to begin Monday's game, Grimes was effectively the 76ers' “sixth starter.” Replacing Dominick Barlow in the lineup to start the third quarter, he played 36 minutes, with only Tyrese Maxey, Andre Drummond and VJ Edgecombe playing more. Rostered in 41 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Grimes will be worth holding onto for the foreseeable future. In addition to Paul George's minutes restriction, the 76ers have to navigate Kelly Oubre Jr.'s (knee) absence. Grimes won't lack opportunities, and he's providing top-100 value in nine-cat formats.
Andre Drummond
Andre Drummond grabs 18 rebounds vs. Clippers
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 4:01 PM
Andre Drummond accumulated 14 points (5-of-8 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 18 rebounds, one steal and one three-pointer in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Analysis: Drummond continues to provide solid value as Joel Embiid's replacement in the starting lineup. On Monday, the veteran center recorded his fourth double-double in as many games and was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Rostered in 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Drummond has provided fourth-round per-game value in nine-cat formats over his last four games. With Embiid lacking a definitive timeline to return, adding Drummond would be a good idea.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) plays 21 MIN in season debut
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 3:59 PM
Paul George (knee) tallied nine points (2-of-9 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one three-pointer in Monday's win over the Clippers.
Analysis: Making his first appearance of the season, George was on a minutes restriction on Monday. Given the time missed, it's unsurprising that he was rusty offensively. However, the veteran wing did provide solid value in the rebound and blocked shot categories. George was used at both forward positions, starting the second half at the four with Quentin Grimes replacing Dominick Barlow (7/1/0/3). Obviously, George's restriction isn't going away anytime soon. And with a midweek back-to-back, fantasy managers should anticipate him sitting out either Wednesday's game against Toronto or Thursday's game in Milwaukee.
