Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes hits five triples, scores 19 points
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 4:57 PM
Quentin Grimes accumulated 19 points (7-of-9 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, three blocks and five three-pointers in Thursday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: Less than a year after he was dealt from Dallas to Philadelphia, Grimes hit five three-pointers on a night when the player he was traded for (Caleb Martin) played four minutes. When he's on, Grimes can provide solid late-round value despite coming off the bench. Over the past two weeks, he has been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid posts 22 points, six assists vs. DAL
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 4:55 PM
Joel Embiid recorded 22 points (9-of-18 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, six assists and one block in Thursday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: Embiid has now played at least 30 minutes in each of his last seven appearances. While that may not be a big deal for most players, it is for the former MVP, as he continues to labor through ankle and knee issues. The six assists that Embiid recorded on Thursday were two shy of his season-high, which was recorded in Tuesday's win over the Grizzlies. He'll look to end Week 11 on a high note when the 76ers visit the Knicks on Saturday.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey goes for 34 points, 10 assists
Thu, Jan 1, 2026, 4:54 PM
Tyrese Maxey finished Thursday's win over the Mavericks with 34 points (14-of-24 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, two blocks and four three-pointers.
Analysis: Back in his hometown, Maxey recorded his eighth career 30-point, 10-assist game and second in as many appearances. The 76ers guard has been outstanding this season, providing top-5 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Even with the availability concerns of Joel Embiid and Paul George (14/7/2/1), the 76ers have managed to stay afloat, thanks in part to Maxey. Now, with those two healthy, the 76ers appear poised to be a factor in the East.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) probable vs. Dallas
Wed, Dec 31, 2025, 12:05 PM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) is probable to play against the Mavericks on Thursday.
Analysis: After playing a season-high 38 minutes in Tuesday's win, Embiid is expected to be available against Dallas. He had 34 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in that game and will look to stay hot in a matchup with Anthony Davis.
Tyrese Maxey
Maxey finishes with 34 points, 12 assists vs. MEM
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 5:08 PM
Tyrese Maxey led the 76ers with 34 points (13-of-21 FGs), four rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and four three-pointers against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
Analysis: After a subpar three-game stretch, Maxey got back on track in this one. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the 76ers' three-game losing streak ended as a result. This was only Maxey's third double-double of the season and his first since October. The points have been consistent, but he hasn't been a consistently elite playmaker like he was in this game. He'll look to carry this offensive production into a matchup with the Mavericks on Thursday.
Joel Embiid
Embiid stars with 34/10/8/1/2 line in OT win
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 5:03 PM
Joel Embiid lit up the Grizzlies on Tuesday with 34 points (11-of-28 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs), 10 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in a 139-136 overtime win.
Analysis: After missing Sunday's game, Embiid was back in the lineup for this one. Despite battling his typical knee issues, an ankle injury and an illness, Embiid was able to score at least 30 points for the third time this season and for a second straight game. Embiid hasn't been as aggressive on the glass this year, and this was only his second double-double this season. He also played a season-high 38 minutes and was still able to hit some big shots down the stretch. Assuming his body responds well, this is all great to see from Embiid.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (ankle, illness) available vs. Memphis
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 1:32 PM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (ankle, illness) is available to play against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
Analysis: Following a one-game absence, Embiid will be back in the lineup to take on Memphis. Along with his typical knee issues, he has also been dealing with a right ankle sprain and was also listed with an illness for this game. His return will push Andre Drummond back to the bench and take away minutes from Adem Bona.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) questionable Tuesday
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 12:11 PM
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: The latest development for Embiid is that the 31-year-old center has added a right ankle sprain to his various ailments. If he can overcome his right ankle and right knee issues, he could return against the Grizzlies Tuesday. If not, Andre Drummond will start in his place again.
Tyrese Maxey
Maxey scores 28 points in blowout loss to Thunder
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 12:05 PM
Tyrese Maxey finished with a team-high 28 points (10-of-18 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), two rebounds, five assists and four steals over 36 minutes during Sunday's lopsided defeat at the hands of the Thunder.
Analysis: Maxey was one of the few bright spots for Philadelphia in this one as the Thunder threw a variety of defenders at him but were still unable to contain the speedy scoring threat. The 25-year-old guard finished just shy of another 30-point performance despite going just 2-of-7 from three-point range. He's clearly taken over as the 76ers primary building block moving forward and has delivered first-round value for fantasy purposes, averaging 30.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.9 blocks through 28 games this season. Philadelphia is on the road for three games this upcoming week with matchups against the Grizzlies, Mavericks and Knicks.
Paul George
George drains four three-pointers in blowout loss
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 12:03 PM
Paul George posted 12 points (4-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Thunder.
Analysis: George knocked down four three-pointers but wasn't much of a threat against his former organization as the Thunder's athleticism and depth proved to be a mismatch for the 76ers all night. The 35-year-old veteran forward has failed to break 20 points in four consecutive games since erupting for a season-high 35 against the Hawks back on December 14.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) available vs. Oklahoma City
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 9:02 AM
NBA Injury Report
Paul George (knee) is available to play against the Thunder on Sunday.
Analysis: George was initially listed as probable, so it isn't surprising that he'll suit up against his former team. George has shot worse than 40 percent in each of his last three appearances and will look to get back on track in this one.
Kelly Oubre
Kelly Oubre (knee) to remain out Sunday vs. OKC
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 11:57 AM
NBA Injury Report
Kelly Oubre (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Oubre, who last played on November 14, has not reached the point where he can play in games. Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain will continue to provide reliable minutes on the wings, while Dominick Barlow remains in the starting lineup.
Paul George
Paul George (knee) probable Sunday vs. OKC
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 11:55 AM
NBA Injury Report
Paul George (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: While the 76ers are still taking steps to manage George's left knee properly, he's on track to play on Sunday against the Thunder. If, for some reason, he cannot play, Quentin Grimes is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) out Sunday vs. OKC
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 11:50 AM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: In addition to right knee injury management, Embiid will miss Sunday's game due to a sprained right ankle. His absence once again opens up a spot in the starting lineup for Andre Drummond, who should be rostered whenever the 76ers are without their starting center.
Paul George
Paul George has 15/12/5 line Friday vs. Chicago
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 4:33 PM
Paul George amassed 15 points (5-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists and four three-pointers on Friday in the loss to the Bulls.
Analysis: George struggled with his shooting for a third consecutive game and is now shooting 12-of-39 from the field over that span. The inefficiency led to a below-average scoring performance from the decorated veteran forward. Yet, even without the scoring, George hit the glass hard to earn his first double-double of the season, and also tied a season high in assists to finish with a solid outing from a fantasy basketball perspective. Still, fantasy managers are hoping he can regain his shooting touch soon and return to form as a scorer.
Tyrese Maxey
Tyrese Maxey adds 27 points, eight dimes vs. Bulls
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 4:24 PM
Tyrese Maxey tallied 27 points (9-of-24 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and five three-pointers on Friday in the loss to the Bulls.
Analysis: Maxey struggled with his shooting efficiency in Friday's loss. He started and ended the game cold, while 18 of his points came in the middle two quarters of the game. Although he was inaccurate overall, his five triples were helpful in helping him finish the night with a good fantasy basketball performance, as was his facilitating. Maxey has now shot 12-of-38 from the floor in his last two appearances, which were both Sixers losses. He'll have a chance to bounce back on Sunday against the Thunder.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid scores 31 points Friday in loss to CHI
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 4:17 PM
Joel Embiid tallied 31 points (10-of-19 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers in the loss to the Bulls on Friday.
Analysis: Embiid's second 30-point game of the season came in a losing effort. The former league MVP had performed well on the offensive end through three quarters, but with just four fourth-quarter points on 1-of-4 shooting, he was one of several Sixers who failed to deliver down the stretch, as they were outscored by the Bulls 17-28 in the frame before losing by seven points. But from a fantasy basketball standpoint, Embiid has shown signs of being the dominant scorer of recent seasons; he's averaging 29.8 points per game over his last four appearances, and has logged at least 30 minutes in each.
Joel Embiid
Embiid, Maxey, VJ, George, Barlow to start Friday
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 1:06 PM
Keith Pompey
Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey and Dominick Barlow will start on Friday against the Bulls.
Analysis: With Barlow and Edgecombe back in the lineup, the Sixers' opening unit will look different from the one that played in the team's 114-106 loss to the Nets in its most recent game. Their returns move Jabari Walker and Jared McCain back to the Philadelphia bench, where they'll join Quentin Grimes to form a stronger reserve unit. The Sixers lost their only other matchup with the Bulls back in November, but will have a chance to avenge it on Friday and inch closer to the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid (knee) available Friday vs. Chicago
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 1:03 PM
NBA Injury Report
Joel Embiid (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Embiid is good to go after missing the 76ers' last two games due to right knee injury management. His return means that Andre Drummond will come off the bench, where he boasts a lower fantasy ceiling.
Quentin Grimes
Quentin Grimes (illness) available Fri. vs. Bulls
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 12:05 PM
Tony Jones
Quentin Grimes (illness) is active for Friday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Grimes is back after a one-game absence. He'll likely come off the bench and bolster a Sixers reserve unit that features several quality players. Grimes is averaging 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game, but has been limited to 11 total points over his last two appearances. He'll have a chance to put up stronger numbers in Friday's contest.
