Cason Wallace
Cason Wallace scores five points in spot start
Sun, May 24, 2026, 4:54 PM
Cason Wallace accounted for five points (2-of-8 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals and one three-pointer in Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Spurs.
Analysis: With Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf) unavailable, the Thunder turned to Wallace to fill the resulting void in the starting lineup. He struggled with his shot in Game 4, but the third-year guard wasn't the only one who failed to show up. Jared McCain (four points, two rebounds) shot 1-of-10 from the field and Alex Caruso (two rebounds, one assist and two blocks) missed his lone shot attempt. Regardless of what happens with J-Dub and Mitchell for Tuesday's Game 5, the Thunder need more from Wallace, McCain and Caruso if they're to defend home court.
Chet Holmgren
Chet Holmgren tallies 10 points, nine rebounds
Sun, May 24, 2026, 4:53 PM
Chet Holmgren finished Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Spurs with 10 points (3-of-8 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot.
Analysis: Named third-team All-NBA on Sunday, Holmgren produced another underwhelming showing in Game 4. If there's a positive, it's that his nine rebounds were two more than the 7-foot-1 forward/center's total in Games 3 and 4. However, with San Antonio's Victor Wembanyama's consistent excellence, the Thunder need more from Holmgren if they're to win this series, especially if Jalen Williams (hamstring) remains out after missing both games in San Antonio.
Isaiah Hartenstein
Isaiah Hartenstein records 12/7/3 line in Game 4
Sun, May 24, 2026, 4:53 PM
Isaiah Hartenstein amassed 12 points (6-of-11 FGs), seven rebounds and three assists in Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Spurs.
Analysis: Hartenstein reached double figures for the second time this series, but his defensive efforts weren't enough to keep Victor Wembanyama from dominating Game 4. And it doesn't help that Chet Holmgren has been largely underwhelming, with Sunday's defeat evening the series at two games apiece going into Tuesday's Game 5. Hartenstein logged 17 minutes in Game 4, due partly to things getting out of hand during the latter stages of the third quarter. His playing time should crack the twenties on Tuesday if things are competitive throughout.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 19 in Game 4 defeat
Sun, May 24, 2026, 4:52 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 19 points (6-of-15 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists and two steals in Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Spurs.
Analysis: The absences of Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf) left the Thunder light on players capable of making things happen off the bounce in Game 4. That factored into San Antonio's ability to pressure Gilgeous-Alexander more, but not with double teams as some may assume. The Spurs' guards assigned to defend the two-time league MVP were more aggressive, forcing Oklahoma City's “others” to do more offensively. They couldn't answer the call, resulting in a 103-82 defeat. Game 5 is on Tuesday night, with the series tied at two games apiece.
Cason Wallace
OKC starts SGA, Wallace, Dort, Holmgren, iHart
Sun, May 24, 2026, 1:48 PM
NBA Lineups
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace, Luguentz Dort, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Sunday's Game 4 against the Spurs.
Analysis: The Thunder are without Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf) for Game 4, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Wallace, who performed well as a spot starter last season, will fill the void. Also, expect to see more of Jared McCain and Alex Caruso, who have both played well in the conference finals.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SGA, Nikola Joki? unanimous first-team All-NBA
Sun, May 24, 2026, 1:39 PM
NBA
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Joki?, Victor Wembanyama, Cade Cunningham and Luka Don?i? were named first-team All-NBA on Sunday.
Analysis: Gilgeous-Alexander and Joki? were first-team selections on all 100 ballots, while Wembanyama was selected on 99. Unsurprisingly, they were the three finalists for league MVP, with Gilgeous-Alexander winning the award for a second consecutive season. Don?i? and Cunningham, who needed waivers from the league to be eligible for postseason honors, round out the first team.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) downgraded to out
Sun, May 24, 2026, 1:22 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jalen Williams (hamstring) is out for Sunday's Game 4 against the Spurs.
Analysis: J-Dub injured his left hamstring during Game 2 of the conference finals, the second time this postseason he's done so. Ajay Mitchell was the replacement in the starting lineup for Game 3, but he suffered a strained calf and will not play on Sunday. Jared McCain and Alex Caruso are two players whose opportunities should increase, even if they don't start.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) questionable for Game 4
Sat, May 23, 2026, 12:33 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jalen Williams (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's Game 4 against the Spurs.
Analysis: J-Dub, who injured his left hamstring for the second time this postseason during Game 2, did not play in Friday's Game 3 victory. Ajay Mitchell moved into the starting lineup, but a strained right calf will keep him out of Game 4. If J-Dub remains out, Jared McCain is the potential replacement in the starting lineup after scoring 24 points in Game 3.
Jaylin Williams
Jaylin Williams has 18 points in Game 3 win Friday
Fri, May 22, 2026, 5:44 PM
Jaylin Williams had 18 points (5-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, two steals and five three-pointers in Friday's win over the Spurs in Game 3.
Analysis: While Jared McCain led the Thunder bench with 24 points, they also had contributions from Williams, Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace. Those four combined for 68 points. Williams made five three-pointers in 22 minutes and was +22. The Thunder's depth continues to impress as they've bounced back after losing Game 1 to win the next two games with Jalen Williams (hamstring) only playing seven minutes.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Gilgeous-Alexander has 26/2/12 line in Game 3 win
Fri, May 22, 2026, 5:29 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 26 points (6-of-17 FGs, 12-of-12 FTs), two rebounds, 12 assists, one block and two three-pointers in the Thunder's 123-108 victory over the Spurs in Game 3 on Friday.
Analysis: Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder have bounced back nicely after losing Game 1 of the series. The 27-year-old point guard scored 30 and 26 points in the last two games as Oklahoma City has managed to take a 2-1 series lead. Game 4 is coming up on Sunday.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) out for Game 3 Friday
Fri, May 22, 2026, 1:49 PM
Shams Charania
Jalen Williams (hamstring) is out for Game 3 against the Spurs on Friday.
Analysis: Williams is set to miss Game 3 after leaving Wednesday's Game 2 after playing just seven minutes due to a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old forward suffered the initial injury in the first round series against the Suns. In Williams' absence, Jared McCain, Isaiah Joe and Isaiah Hartenstein all saw increased roles and that should be the case again in Game 3.

Report: Jalen Williams (hamstring) day-to-day
Thu, May 21, 2026, 11:15 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Jalen Williams (hamstring) will undergo treatment and be evaluated daily.
Analysis: Williams exited Wednesday's Game 2 victory after playing seven minutes due to tightness in his left hamstring, which he initially injured in the first round against Phoenix. His absence affected multiple players in the Thunder rotation. Jared McCain's minutes increased in Game 2, while Isaiah Joe entered the rotation after not being an option in the series opener. Also, Isaiah Hartenstein logged 27 minutes after playing 12 in Game 1. Look for those three to take on larger roles if Williams has to miss time.
Isaiah Hartenstein
Isaiah Hartenstein has 10/13 double-double vs. SAS
Wed, May 20, 2026, 5:31 PM
Isaiah Hartenstein tallied 10 points (4-of-8 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 13 rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: Hartenstein had a much better showing on Wednesday after posting two points in 12 minutes in Game 1's loss. He was rewarded more than double the playing time in Game 2, thanks to solid scoring production and tremendous work on the offensive glass. His contributions were impactful and led to a double-double No. 2 of the postseason. OKC will need more of the same from Hartenstein going forward.
Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso hits three three-pointers in Game 2
Wed, May 20, 2026, 5:24 PM
Alex Caruso finished Wednesday's win over the Spurs with 17 points (5-of-7 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Caruso followed a hot three-point shooting Game 1 with another on Wednesday, as he connected on 75 percent of looks from beyond the arc. The veteran guard also hurt San Antonio's defense as a playmaker, doing so without committing a turnover. The sharp shooting and savvy playmaking were complemented by sound defense on the other end. As a result, he led the Thunder in plus-minus (+18) and had a massive part in evening up the series at one game apiece.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SGA's 30 points leads Thunder to Game 2 victory
Wed, May 20, 2026, 5:18 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 30 points (12-of-24 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two blocks in Wednesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: The MVP had a bounce-back performance on Wednesday after an unspectacular Game 1. He hit his first two shots of the night and proceeded to punish the Spurs' defense the rest of the way, finishing as the only player to reach the 30-point mark. Gilgeous-Alexander also did a fine job of reading the defense and picking it apart with his passing. He finished just one assist shy of a double-double as the Thunder went on to even the series at one game apiece.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) won't return Wednesday
Wed, May 20, 2026, 4:56 PM
Tim MacMahon
Jalen Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams left Wednesday's game after logging just seven first-quarter minutes. He headed to the locker room and never returned to the court, officially finishing with four points and one rebound. Williams' initial diagnosis is hamstring tightness. After missing most of this postseason previously with a hamstring injury, his status is certainly worth monitoring going forward.
Cason Wallace
Cason Wallace logs 28 minutes in series opener
Tue, May 19, 2026, 5:41 AM
Cason Wallace finished Monday's Game 1 loss to the Spurs with eight points (3-of-6 FGs), six rebounds, two steals and two three-pointers.
Analysis: While his final stat line in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals was not notable, Wallace's playing time was. The third-year guard logged 28 minutes in the double-overtime thriller and replaced Isaiah Hartenstein in the lineup to begin the third quarter. Hartenstein was limited to 12 minutes on Monday, finishing with two points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks. The playing time is something to keep an eye on for Game 2, especially if the Spurs have De'Aaron Fox after a right ankle injury sidelined him for Game 1.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) scores 26 in return
Mon, May 18, 2026, 5:54 PM
Jalen Williams returned to the lineup on Monday and finished with 26 points (11-of-25 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer against the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams was available to play for the first time since Game 2 of their first-round series against the Suns. It was a rough season for him, largely due to various injuries, but he was able to produce at a high level in his return to the lineup. It wasn't enough for OKC to take the first game of the series, but this team is as healthy as it has been all season. Even with the loss, having Williams play this well has to be encouraging.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SGA scores 24 points, dishes 12 dimes in loss
Mon, May 18, 2026, 5:52 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 24 points (7-of-23 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, 12 assists, five steals, one block and two three-pointers in a 122-115 loss to the Spurs in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday.
Analysis: It certainly wasn't the best performance for the back-to-back MVP, but SGA was able to make some big plays late in this game. He scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, including a layup with three seconds left to force overtime. However, he was held to just two points in the two extra periods, which led to OKC's first loss of the postseason. He'll need to be much better moving forward if they want to bounce back from this game on Wednesday.
Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso drops playoff career-high 31 in loss
Mon, May 18, 2026, 5:50 PM
Alex Caruso provided a boost off the bench with 31 points (11-of-19 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and eight three-pointers against the Spurs on Monday.
Analysis: Over the last few years, Caruso has been at his best when the stakes are the highest. That held true in the first game of the Western Conference Finals, as he had the best offensive performance of his playoff career. He set new playoff career highs for both points and three-pointers while making Victor Wembanyama's life difficult on the other end of the floor. Even if it doesn't show up in the box score during the regular season, Caruso is one of the most impactful players in this series, and they'll need him to continue to play at a high level to get back to the NBA Finals. However, there likely won't be more 30-point games in his future.
