Report: Jalen Williams (hamstring) day-to-day
Thu, May 21, 2026, 11:15 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Jalen Williams (hamstring) will undergo treatment and be evaluated daily.
Analysis: Williams exited Wednesday's Game 2 victory after playing seven minutes due to tightness in his left hamstring, which he initially injured in the first round against Phoenix. His absence affected multiple players in the Thunder rotation. Jared McCain's minutes increased in Game 2, while Isaiah Joe entered the rotation after not being an option in the series opener. Also, Isaiah Hartenstein logged 27 minutes after playing 12 in Game 1. Look for those three to take on larger roles if Williams has to miss time.
Isaiah Hartenstein
Isaiah Hartenstein has 10/13 double-double vs. SAS
Wed, May 20, 2026, 5:31 PM
Isaiah Hartenstein tallied 10 points (4-of-8 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 13 rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: Hartenstein had a much better showing on Wednesday after posting two points in 12 minutes in Game 1's loss. He was rewarded more than double the playing time in Game 2, thanks to solid scoring production and tremendous work on the offensive glass. His contributions were impactful and led to a double-double No. 2 of the postseason. OKC will need more of the same from Hartenstein going forward.
Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso hits three three-pointers in Game 2
Wed, May 20, 2026, 5:24 PM
Alex Caruso finished Wednesday's win over the Spurs with 17 points (5-of-7 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Caruso followed a hot three-point shooting Game 1 with another on Wednesday, as he connected on 75 percent of looks from beyond the arc. The veteran guard also hurt San Antonio's defense as a playmaker, doing so without committing a turnover. The sharp shooting and savvy playmaking were complemented by sound defense on the other end. As a result, he led the Thunder in plus-minus (+18) and had a massive part in evening up the series at one game apiece.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SGA's 30 points leads Thunder to Game 2 victory
Wed, May 20, 2026, 5:18 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 30 points (12-of-24 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two blocks in Wednesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: The MVP had a bounce-back performance on Wednesday after an unspectacular Game 1. He hit his first two shots of the night and proceeded to punish the Spurs' defense the rest of the way, finishing as the only player to reach the 30-point mark. Gilgeous-Alexander also did a fine job of reading the defense and picking it apart with his passing. He finished just one assist shy of a double-double as the Thunder went on to even the series at one game apiece.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) won't return Wednesday
Wed, May 20, 2026, 4:56 PM
Tim MacMahon
Jalen Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams left Wednesday's game after logging just seven first-quarter minutes. He headed to the locker room and never returned to the court, officially finishing with four points and one rebound. Williams' initial diagnosis is hamstring tightness. After missing most of this postseason previously with a hamstring injury, his status is certainly worth monitoring going forward.
Cason Wallace
Cason Wallace logs 28 minutes in series opener
Tue, May 19, 2026, 5:41 AM
Cason Wallace finished Monday's Game 1 loss to the Spurs with eight points (3-of-6 FGs), six rebounds, two steals and two three-pointers.
Analysis: While his final stat line in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals was not notable, Wallace's playing time was. The third-year guard logged 28 minutes in the double-overtime thriller and replaced Isaiah Hartenstein in the lineup to begin the third quarter. Hartenstein was limited to 12 minutes on Monday, finishing with two points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks. The playing time is something to keep an eye on for Game 2, especially if the Spurs have De'Aaron Fox after a right ankle injury sidelined him for Game 1.
Jalen Williams
Jalen Williams (hamstring) scores 26 in return
Mon, May 18, 2026, 5:54 PM
Jalen Williams returned to the lineup on Monday and finished with 26 points (11-of-25 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer against the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams was available to play for the first time since Game 2 of their first-round series against the Suns. It was a rough season for him, largely due to various injuries, but he was able to produce at a high level in his return to the lineup. It wasn't enough for OKC to take the first game of the series, but this team is as healthy as it has been all season. Even with the loss, having Williams play this well has to be encouraging.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
SGA scores 24 points, dishes 12 dimes in loss
Mon, May 18, 2026, 5:52 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 24 points (7-of-23 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, 12 assists, five steals, one block and two three-pointers in a 122-115 loss to the Spurs in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday.
Analysis: It certainly wasn't the best performance for the back-to-back MVP, but SGA was able to make some big plays late in this game. He scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, including a layup with three seconds left to force overtime. However, he was held to just two points in the two extra periods, which led to OKC's first loss of the postseason. He'll need to be much better moving forward if they want to bounce back from this game on Wednesday.
Alex Caruso
Alex Caruso drops playoff career-high 31 in loss
Mon, May 18, 2026, 5:50 PM
Alex Caruso provided a boost off the bench with 31 points (11-of-19 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and eight three-pointers against the Spurs on Monday.
Analysis: Over the last few years, Caruso has been at his best when the stakes are the highest. That held true in the first game of the Western Conference Finals, as he had the best offensive performance of his playoff career. He set new playoff career highs for both points and three-pointers while making Victor Wembanyama's life difficult on the other end of the floor. Even if it doesn't show up in the box score during the regular season, Caruso is one of the most impactful players in this series, and they'll need him to continue to play at a high level to get back to the NBA Finals. However, there likely won't be more 30-point games in his future.
Jalen Williams
J-Dub (hamstring) absent from injury report
Sun, May 17, 2026, 12:35 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jalen Williams (hamstring) is not on the injury report for Monday's Game 1 against the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams is off the Thunder's injury report ahead of the Western Conference Finals, meaning the team's rotation will be complete for Game 1. Ajay Mitchell has performed well as J-Dub's replacement in the starting lineup, and the second-year guard will figure prominently in the bench unit.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander wins back-to-back MVPs
Sun, May 17, 2026, 4:27 AM
Shams Charania
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was named the 2025-26 NBA Most Valuable Player.
Analysis: Gilgeous-Alexander became the 14th player in league history to win consecutive Most Valuable Player awards. The 27-year-old point guard averaged 31.1 points, 6.6 assists and 1.4 steals. He was second in the league in points and first in plus/minus. Gilgeous-Alexander is in elite company now with multiple MVP awards. If the Thunder repeat as champions, he'll join Bill Russell, Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the only players to win back-to-back MVPs while also winning back-to-back championships.

Jalen Williams (hamstring) ‘healthy' ahead of WCF
Sat, May 16, 2026, 10:20 AM
The Oklahoman
Jalen Williams (hamstring) said on his personal YouTube channel that he is “healthy” ahead of the Western Conference Finals.
Analysis: Williams strained his left hamstring during Game 2 of Oklahoma City's first-round series against Phoenix and has not played since. Based on his words in a recent video from his personal YouTube page, a return could be in the cards for the Western Conference Finals. Williams was at Thunder practice on Friday, but it's unknown how much he was able to do. Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs is on Monday night, and J-Dub's availability will most impact Ajay Mitchell's presence in the lineup.
Chet Holmgren
Chet Holmgren tallies 16 points Monday vs. Lakers
Mon, May 11, 2026, 7:50 PM
Chet Holmgren added 16 points (6-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds and one steal in the win over the Lakers on Monday.
Analysis: Holmgren's final stat line on Monday rivaled Game 3's. Again, he took advantage of his opportunities inside on the offensive end, including a key dunk down the stretch to give OKC the lead for the final time. Holmgren also nearly did enough on the glass to come away with a double-double. The former second-overall pick failed to block a shot for the first time, but his presence was certainly felt. He finishes the series having averaged 20.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game.

SGA hangs 35 on Lakers as Thunder advance to WCF
Mon, May 11, 2026, 7:37 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 35 points (11-of-22 FGs, 12-of-15 FTs), one rebound, eight assists, one steal and one three-pointer in the win over the Lakers on Monday.
Analysis: Gilgeous-Alexander bounced back from an unspectacular Game 3 to log a series-high in points, ending the Lakers' season in four games. The reigning MVP was steady throughout the win, making subtle contributions as a scorer as the game progressed. Yet, he put his foot on the gas in the third quarter, scoring 12 points, before closing the show in the final frame to end with a game-high 35 points. SGA handled the defensive schemes well and patiently picked them apart to tally eight assists. He and the Thunder will get some rest as they await the winner of Timberwolves-Spurs, which is currently tied 2-2.
Chet Holmgren
Holmgren posts 18 points, nine boards in Game 3
Sat, May 9, 2026, 5:08 PM
Chet Holmgren finished Saturday's Game 3 win over the Lakers with 18 points (9-of-14 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot.
Analysis: Holmgren was one of seven Thunder players, five being starters, to finish the 131-108 victory in double figures. While he could not extend his streak of games with at least 20 points to four, the Thunder forward/center was once again impactful on both ends of the floor. Isaiah Hartenstein also played well, contributing 12 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one steal. With Saturday's victory, the Thunder became the first defending champion since Cleveland in 2017 to start the following postseason with seven consecutive victories.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Gilgeous-Alexander scores 23 points in Game 3
Sat, May 9, 2026, 5:07 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander amassed 23 points (7-of-20 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Saturday's Game 3 win over the Lakers.
Analysis: Gilgeous-Alexander didn't have a great game shooting the basketball, as he finished Game 3 shooting 4-of-13 from inside the arc. However, the reigning league MVP's struggles were not an issue for Oklahoma City, which outscored the Lakers 74-49 after halftime. Game 3 played out similarly to Game 2, as the Thunder's ability to capitalize on the Lakers' turnovers proved decisive. Oklahoma City scored 30 points off 16 Lakers turnovers and was a plus-19 in that category. Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder will look to close out the series on Monday night.
Chet Holmgren
Chet Holmgren adds 22 points, nine boards vs. LAL
Thu, May 7, 2026, 6:39 PM
Chet Holmgren totaled 22 points (7-of-11 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, four steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in the win over the Lakers on Thursday.
Analysis: As he's done so many times throughout his career, the former second-overall pick had a massive two-way impact in the Thunder's victory. Offensively, he shot the three-pointer very well, and then punished the Lakers in the interior and on the offensive glass. With a solid number of points at the charity stripe, as well, Holmgren ultimately tied with a team-high in points. He was arguably even more impressive on the defensive end, where his six stocks led all players in Thursday's contest. Holmgren is averaging 23.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals per game so far in this series, and has a chance to put together another strong outing in Game 3.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 22 points Thursday
Thu, May 7, 2026, 6:32 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 22 points (7-of-13 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Thursday's win over the Lakers.
Analysis: Partly due to foul trouble, the reigning MVP logged just 28 minutes in the Game 2 victory for the Thunder. Still, he made the most of his time on the floor, efficiently working his way past the 20-point mark while navigating against the Lakers' double teams and defensive strategies. He cut back on his turnovers, after committing seven in Game 1, and looked more comfortable overall. SGA still hasn't come close to logging the type of numbers he did throughout the regular season, or even in the first-round win over the Suns. Yet, the Thunder's other players have provided plenty on both ends of the floor to help keep OKC in control of the series. Gilgeous-Alexander will have a chance for bigger numbers in Game 3.
Chet Holmgren
Chet Holmgren posts 24/12 double-double in win
Tue, May 5, 2026, 5:24 PM
Chet Holmgren added 24 points (9-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks and two three-pointers in Tuesday's win over the Lakers.
Analysis: Holgren was OKC's standout performer on both ends of the floor in Game 1. Offensively, he shot the ball well overall and drained both of his three-point attempts, while doing a decent job on the offensive glass. Additionally, he led all players in blocks for the game and added a steal to further highlight his defensive dominance on Tuesday. Holmgren provided plenty of issues for Los Angeles and will have a chance to do so again in Game 2 on Thursday.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 18 points in Game 1
Tue, May 5, 2026, 5:20 PM
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 18 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks in Tuesday's win over the Lakers.
Analysis: It was a relatively quiet night for the reigning Finals MVP, who did not reach the 20-point mark on Tuesday. He also failed to convert a three-pointer in the win, and his unspectacular night was underscored by a seven-turnover performance. SGA never truly found a rhythm on the offensive end, but still finished as OKC's leader in assists on the evening. He'll have another crack at this Lakers defense on Thursday when the Thunder try to take a 2-0 series lead.
