Ja Morant
Morant drops 40 in overtime loss to 76ers
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 5:27 PM
Ja Morant lit up the 76ers with 40 points (16-of-22 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), two rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 139-136 overtime loss on Tuesday.
Analysis: Morant took over late in this game to help force overtime by scoring 18 points in the fourth quarter. He added six more in overtime, but it wasn't enough for Memphis to get the win. Still, this was Morant's best game of the season as he set a new season high for scoring. Morant's main issue has been health, but if he can remain on the floor and stay this hot, fantasy managers should get a nice stretch from him.
Christian Koloko
Christian Koloko held scoreless as starter
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 5:20 PM
Christian Koloko started on Tuesday and finished with three rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes against the 76ers.
Analysis: For the first time this season, Koloko got the starting nod. This was only his fifth game with Memphis, and while he had taken on a larger role in recent games, he still played fewer minutes than Santi Aldama, who he replaced in the starting lineup. Aldama played 36 minutes off the bench and finished with 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and four blocks. Even if this lineup doesn't change, Aldama will remain a standard league option.
Christian Koloko
MEM starts Morant, Wells, Coward, Jackson, Koloko
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 1:40 PM
NBA Lineups
Ja Morant, Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Christian Koloko will start Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Despite Santi Aldama and Jock Landale being available for Tuesday's game, the Grizzlies have thrown fantasy managers a curveball. Koloko will start, conceivably to help keep the other Grizzlies bigs out of early foul trouble with Philadelphia's Joel Embiid available. This is an excellent opportunity for Koloko, whose 10-day contract is winding down.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (calf) available Tuesday vs. PHI
Tue, Dec 30, 2025, 1:16 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (calf) is available for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Landale is available after missing two games with a strained right calf. His return means fewer minutes for Christian Koloko, who could fall out of the rotation entirely. Also, with Landale available, two-way contract player Olivier-Maxence Prosper is inactive.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (calf) questionable Tuesday vs. PHI
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 12:15 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jock Landale (calf) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Landale has missed Memphis' last two games with a strained right calf, opening up rotation minutes for Christian Koloko. While the playing time has been there, Koloko's production has not been good enough to merit streaming. If Santi Aldama isn't available on the waiver wire, fantasy managers should look to other teams for frontcourt help.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) out Tuesday
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 12:11 PM
NBA Injury Report
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is out for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Caldwell-Pope was forced to leave Sunday's loss to the Wizards after playing 11 minutes with a sore right hamstring. He won't play on Tuesday, freeing up additional minutes for fellow reserve GG Jackson. Olivier-Maxence Prosper could also be in the rotation, but the Grizzlies may send him to their G League affiliate instead.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) out Tuesday vs. PHI
Mon, Dec 29, 2025, 12:08 PM
NBA Injury Report
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is out for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Williams will miss a sixth consecutive game due to left patellar tendinitis. His absence has left Cam Spencer to handle the backup point guard duties, and he has been more valuable than Vince in fantasy leagues even when Ja Morant has been out.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama drops double-double, four steals
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 3:00 PM
Santi Aldama finished Sunday's loss to the Wizards with 14 points (5-of-14 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Already a solid fantasy option, Aldama's ceiling has been raised recently due to injuries to Zach Edey and Jock Landale. Over the past week, he has provided seventh-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, exceeding his season-long value by a few rounds. Aldama recorded his fourth double-double on Sunday, and the four steals were a season-high. Rostered in 46 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he's worth a look in more 12-team formats, even with the Grizzlies playing three games in Week 11.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant finishes with 21 points, seven assists
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 3:00 PM
Ja Morant amassed 21 points (8-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven assists and three three-pointers in Sunday's loss to the Wizards.
Analysis: While the stat line did not include any rebounds, steals or blocked shots, what Morant did provide to fantasy managers was encouraging. The Grizzlies' point guard was efficient as a scorer and playmaker, shooting 50 percent from the field and finishing with an assist-to-turnover ratio of over 2-to-1. Morant is still on a minutes restriction, and it's unknown when that will change. However, he's still capable of offering value despite not hitting 30 minutes.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. posts 31 points, four blocks
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 2:59 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. accumulated 31 points (11-of-24 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, four blocks and two three-pointers in Sunday's loss to the Wizards.
Analysis: Jackson has picked up the production since returning from an ankle injury that sidelined him for two games in late November. After scoring 20 points or more in three of his first 15 games, the Grizzlies forward has accomplished that feat in eight of his last 15, including two with 30 or more. In addition to his second 30-point game of the season, Jackson recorded a complete stat line. Over the past two weeks, he has provided top-10 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Grizzlies open a three-game Week 11 on Tuesday against the 76ers.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) doubtful to return Sun.
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 1:23 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is doubtful to return to Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: After playing 11 first-half minutes, Caldwell-Pope is unlikely to return due to a sore right hamstring. His absence will likely mean more minutes for Cam Spencer and GG Jackson, with the former already offering value as Ja Morant's backup.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (calf) downgraded to out Sunday
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 11:18 AM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (calf) is out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Not long after he was downgraded to doubtful, Landale has been ruled out for Sunday's game. His continued absence means that Christian Koloko will play rotation minutes off the bench, but he is not worth streaming.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (calf) downgraded to doubtful Sunday
Sun, Dec 28, 2025, 10:36 AM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (calf) is now doubtful for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Initially questionable for Sunday's game, Landale is trending toward not being available due to a sore right calf. If he's unable to play, Christian Koloko will remain in the Grizzlies' rotation. He played 28 minutes in Friday's win over the Bucks, but Koloko was not productive enough to merit streaming.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) out Sunday vs. WAS
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 11:14 AM
Memphis Grizzlies
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Left patellar tendinitis will keep Williams sidelined for a fifth straight game. That leaves Cam Spencer to handle the backup point guard duties, and he has been productive enough to merit being rostered in deep leagues.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (calf) questionable Sunday vs. WAS
Sat, Dec 27, 2025, 11:12 AM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Landale did not play in Friday's win over the Bucks, which led to Christian Koloko playing 28 minutes off the bench. He wasn't productive enough to merit streaming if Landale remains out, but Koloko's playing time is worth watching due to the Grizzlies' lack of healthy post players.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. has 24 points, five blocks Fri.
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 5:23 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. amassed 24 points (9-of-18 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, five blocks and two three-pointers in the win over the Bucks on Friday.
Analysis: Jackson Jr. put together another well-rounded performance in Friday's win. Among the several notable stats, his performance on the defensive end was particularly strong and reminiscent of his Defensive Player of the Year-type outings. The veteran forward has now averaged 22.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks over the past 6 games and has been arguably the Grizzlies' most impressive and reliable player over that stretch. They'll likely continue to lean on him, which could lead to similarly productive performances from a fantasy basketball standpoint.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant adds 17/10 double-double in win vs. MIL
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 5:12 PM
Ja Morant tallied 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in Friday's win over the Bucks.
Analysis: Morant played 25 minutes in his return from an ankle injury on Friday. With efficient scoring and strong facilitating throughout, the veteran guard ended up tallying his fifth double-double of the season. Although the numbers weren't jaw-dropping, it was good for fantasy managers to see Morant productive and on the court again in a season full of injuries. Once his minutes increase, he should see a boost in his offensive production.
Ja Morant
MEM starts Morant, Wells, Coward, Jackson, Aldama
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 1:41 PM
NBA Lineups
Ja Morant, Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama will start Friday's game against the Bucks.
Analysis: Morant and Coward are back after missing time due to injury, with the former sitting out the last four. However, while they are starting, Morant and Coward are on minutes restrictions. Cam Spencer and GG Jackson will come off the bench, but rotation minutes should not be an issue for either player, especially Spencer.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (calf) out Friday vs. Milwaukee
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 1:26 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (calf) is out for Friday's game against the Bucks.
Analysis: A late addition to the injury report, Landale will sit with a sore right calf. With Zach Edey (ankle) already out, Santi Aldama takes on even greater importance within the Grizzlies' rotation. Christian Koloko may pick up additional rotation minutes after playing 10 in his first two games as a Grizzlies player on Monday and Tuesday.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (ankle) available Friday vs. Milwaukee
Fri, Dec 26, 2025, 12:38 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Ja Morant (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Bucks.
Analysis: Morant is back after missing Memphis' last four games. He will be on a minutes restriction, so those who have been rostering Cam Spencer should not drop him just yet. Spencer has played well enough to merit rostering, especially with Vince Williams Jr. (knee) sidelined.
