Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome, GG Jackson downgraded to out vs. CHI
Mon, Mar 16, 2026, 1:17 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Ty Jerome (shoulder) and GG Jackson (foot) are out for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Jerome and Jackson are notable absences for the Grizzlies. With Javon Small (two-way transfer) inactive, the Grizzlies will rely heavily on Walter Clayton Jr. and Cam Spencer on the perimeter. As for Jackson, his absence frees up more opportunities for Taylor Hendricks and Olivier-Maxence Prosper.
Santi Aldama
Aldama (knee) to undergo arthroscopic surgery
Sun, Mar 15, 2026, 1:57 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Santi Aldama (knee) will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee and is out indefinitely.
Analysis: The objective of the procedure is to address discomfort in the trochlear compartment of Aldama's right knee. While the Grizzlies won't provide a timeline until after the procedure, he's effectively done for the season in fantasy basketball. Olivier-Maxence Prosper, GG Jackson (when healthy) and Taylor Hendricks are the players whose opportunities have increased due to the Grizzlies' frontcourt injuries. Aldama is under contract next season with a projected cap hit of $17 million and figures to have a bigger role than he did last season if the Grizzlies don't add a new big man in free agency or via trade.
GG Jackson
GG Jackson (foot) listed as doubtful vs. Chicago
Sun, Mar 15, 2026, 1:23 PM
NBA Injury Report
GG Jackson (foot) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: After sitting out Friday's loss to the Pistons, Jackson is on track to miss a second consecutive game with a sore right foot. Taylor Hendricks started Friday's loss to the Pistons, and while he wasn't particularly effective, starting makes him a player worth streaming in deep leagues.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome (shoulder) doubtful vs. Chicago
Sun, Mar 15, 2026, 1:01 PM
NBA Injury Report
Ty Jerome (shoulder) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: If there's a positive to Jerome appearing on the injury report, it's that he is on it for a shoulder injury, not his calf, which delayed the guard's start to the season. His likely absence means the Grizzlies will rely on Javon Small and Cam Spencer to run the show. At this point, both players should be rostered in 14-team leagues.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome scores team-high 21 points vs. Detroit
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 3:54 PM
Ty Jerome finished Friday's loss to the Pistons with 21 points (8-of-17 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), one rebound, three assists and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Jerome returned to the Grizzlies' lineup after sitting out Thursday's loss to the Mavericks, and he was productive in his time on the floor. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, he was once again limited to 25 minutes, so his fantasy ceiling may be capped as long as that remains the case. Jerome should be rostered in 14-team leagues, and some 12-team leagues as well, but the upside is limited for injury-management reasons.
Taylor Hendricks
MEM starts Cam, Jerome, Coward, Hendricks, O-Max
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 1:19 PM
NBA Lineups
Cam Spencer, Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward, Taylor Hendricks and Olivier-Maxence Prosper will start Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: The only holdover from the lineup that started Thursday's loss to the Mavericks is Prosper. Jerome, Spencer and Coward are back after not playing against Dallas, while Hendricks shifts from the bench to the starting lineup since GG Jackson is out.
GG Jackson
GG Jackson (foot) downgraded to out vs. Detroit
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 1:04 PM
NBA Injury Report
GG Jackson (foot) is out for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: Jackson will sit after starting Thursday's game against the Mavericks. His absence likely means more playing time for Taylor Hendricks, who was used in a reserve role on Thursday. Given his defensive potential, Hendricks is worth streaming, especially if he starts.
Taj Gibson
Taj Gibson (conditioning) available vs. Detroit
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 12:54 PM
NBA Injury Report
Taj Gibson (conditioning) is available for Friday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: Gibson is available to make his Grizzlies' debut on Friday, and there may be room for him to play rotation minutes due to the team's lack of healthy post players. Gibson is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball, so leave him on the waiver wire.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama (knee) out Friday vs. Pistons
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 9:38 AM
NBA Injury Report
Santi Aldama (knee) is out for Friday's matchup with the Pistons.
Analysis: Aldama will sit out again, and he has no timeline to return to the court. In his absence, Olivier-Maxence Prosper should remain with the starting five. Taj Gibson (conditioning) could see a couple of minutes if he's available, but his role will be negligible at best.
Scotty Pippen
Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) ruled out for season
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 6:56 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) will undergo season-ending surgery on his right great toe.
Analysis: Having missed the Grizzlies' last three games with sesamoiditis in his right great toe, Pippen will now undergo a season-ending sesamoidectomy to address the issue. He underwent a similar procedure in October, which delayed the guard's season debut until early February. Pippen only appeared in ten games this season, finishing with averages of 11.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.0 three-pointers in 21.2 minutes. With Ty Jerome having recently missed some games, Javon Small and Cam Spencer will have added fantasy value for the rest of this season.
Rayan Rupert
MEM starts Small, Wells, Rupert, Jackson, Prosper
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 1:38 PM
NBA Lineups
Javon Small, Jaylen Wells, Rayan Rupert, GG Jackson and Olivier-Maxence Prosper will start Thursday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Wells and Prosper are the only holdovers in the Grizzlies' starting lineup. Due to a host of absences, Small and Rupert will start, while Jackson is back in the lineup after coming off the bench in Tuesday's loss to the 76ers. GG has replaced Taylor Hendricks, who will come off the bench.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome (calf) ruled out vs. Dallas
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 1:10 PM
Grizzlies PR
Ty Jerome (calf) has been ruled out against the Mavericks on Thursday.
Analysis: Jerome was initially listed as doubtful, so his absence isn't surprising. Javon Small will be the only healthy point guard available for Memphis in this game and should be in for a big night while playing big minutes.
Scotty Pippen
Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) to remain out vs. Dallas
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 1:18 PM
NBA Injury Report
Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) is out for Thursday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Pippen will miss a third consecutive game as he continues to deal with sesamoiditis in his right great toe. Javon Small and, if available, Cam Spencer will play plenty, as the Grizzlies are unlikely to have Ty Jerome (calf) as well.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome (calf) considered doubtful vs. Dallas
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 1:14 PM
NBA Injury Report
Ty Jerome (calf) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: The Grizzlies play on Thursday and Friday, so Jerome is highly unlikely to play both days. Javon Small is available and should play plenty, as Scotty Pippen Jr. has already been ruled out with a toe injury.
GG Jackson
GG Jackson scores 15 points off bench
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 3:58 PM
GG Jackson provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-12 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, one three-pointer and six turnovers against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Analysis: Jackson was pushed to the bench with Cedric Coward back, but he was still able to make an impact as a scorer. Of the five reserves that played, Jackson was one of four to score in double figures. Eight of the 10 players that checked into this game for Memphis scored at least 10 points. This was only the second time he has come off the bench since Feb. 4, and he should start more often than not moving forward.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome puts up 26 points, eight assists
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 3:52 PM
Ty Jerome led the Grizzlies with 26 points (10-of-20 FGs), two rebounds, eight assists and four three-pointers in a 139-129 loss to the 76ers on Tuesday.
Analysis: Jerome sat out the first leg of this back-to-back but was available and starting for this one. He played a season-high 23 minutes in his last appearance and surpassed that with 25 minutes in this one. They'll continue to manage his minutes and games, but he has been fantastic when he's been on the floor. Despite the restrictions, Jerome has been productive enough to be worth keeping around in standard leagues, though his upside will be capped.
Ty Jerome
MEM starts Jerome, Coward, Wells, Taylor, Prosper
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 12:45 PM
NBA Lineups
Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Taylor Hendricks and Olivier-Maxence Prosper will start Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Analysis: Jerome and Coward are back after sitting out Monday's loss to the Nets. They'll start with Javon Small and Cam Spencer being dropped to the bench. The third change to the lineup is Hendricks, who replaces GG Jackson.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama, Scotty Pippen Jr. out Tuesday
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 8:15 AM
NBA Injury Report
Santi Aldama (knee) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) are out for Tuesday's matchup with the 76ers.
Analysis: Memphis' injury report is lengthy, and with Aldama out again, Olivier-Maxence Prosper should continue to start and see meaningful minutes. Pippen Jr.'s continued absence means more run for Ty Jerome and Cam Spencer.
GG Jackson
GG Jackson finishes loss to Nets with 18 points
Mon, Mar 9, 2026, 4:11 PM
Javon Small amassed 19 points (7-of-14 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Monday's loss to the Nets.
Analysis: Jackson kept the turnovers in check on Monday, committing one, and that category has caused a four-round difference in his fantasy value since the All-Star break. Providing top-100 value in eight-cat formats, GG is ranked well outside of that threshold in nine-cat formats. However, given how shorthanded the Grizzlies are in the frontcourt, he's close to a must-roster player for the rest of the season, regardless of the turnover concerns.
Rayan Rupert
Rayan Rupert scores career-high 20 points vs. BKN
Mon, Mar 9, 2026, 4:09 PM
Rayan Rupert finished Monday's loss to the Nets with 20 points (5-of-13 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers.
Analysis: Having played well enough while on a 10-day contract to earn a two-way deal, Rupert has added security for the final month of the 2025-26 season. Nights like Monday will go a long way toward him getting more than a two-way deal in the future. The Grizzlies' wing played 36 minutes off the bench due to the team's many absences, recording the first 20-point game of his career. As a two-way player, Rupert isn't guaranteed to be available every night because of the 50-game limit. However, he'll be worth a look on nights when he's active, and the Grizzlies are as shorthanded as they were in Brooklyn.
