Jaren Jackson
JJJ records 21/9/2/2/3 line in win over Spurs
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 5:04 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. posted 21 points (7-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks over 35 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: Jackson came within one board of his third double-double effort of the season and reached the 20-point plateau for the eighth time in his last 11 games since December 15. The 26-year-old forward has underwhelmed from a fantasy standpoint this season, but his scoring numbers have gone up in recent weeks, which is an encouraging sign. He'll be tasked with carrying Memphis on both ends of the floor as they deal with a plethora of injuries to key starters and reserves.
Vince Williams
Williams connects on four triples in win over Spurs
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 5:01 PM
Vince Williams Jr. collected 15 points (5-of-7 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds and five assists over 22 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams, who has been dealing with a knee injury recently, was sizzling-hot from long range in this one, knocking down 5-of-7 from distance. The 25-year-old guard figures to continue splitting time with Cam Spencer while Ja Morant is out dealing with an ongoing calf issue.
GG Jackson
MEM starts Spencer, Wells, GG, Jaren, Landale
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 1:41 PM
NBA Lineups
Cam Spencer, Jaylen Wells, GG Jackson, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jock Landale will start Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: The Grizzlies are down two starters for Tuesday's game, as Ja Morant (calf) and Cedric Coward (ankle) are out. Spencer will make a second consecutive start at point guard, with Vince Williams Jr. coming off the bench in his first game back from a knee injury. The other change is GG Jackson, who steps in for Coward. Capable of getting hot offensively, Jackson is worth watching in deeper leagues.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) available Tuesday
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 1:21 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Williams is back after missing Memphis' last eight games. With Ja Morant (calf) out, there's a chance that he starts against San Antonio. If Williams is used in a reserve role, Cam Spencer will get a second consecutive start.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (calf) downgraded to out Tuesday
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 1:16 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Ja Morant (calf) is out for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Morant was downgraded from questionable to doubtful earlier Tuesday, so the second downgrade is unsurprising. Cam Spencer started Sunday's loss to the Lakers but struggled. With Vince Williams Jr. (knee) available, Spencer could be headed back to the bench, but he would remain in the rotation.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant doubtful, Vince Williams Jr. probable
Tue, Jan 6, 2026, 9:44 AM
NBA Injury Report
Ja Morant (calf) is doubtful for Tuesday's matchup with the Spurs, and Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is probable.
Analysis: Morant was listed as questionable on Monday, but his status has been downgraded, and he's not expected to take the court against San Antonio. Williams Jr. will be back after an eight-game absence, and he should split time at PG with Cam Spencer.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) questionable vs. SAS
Mon, Jan 5, 2026, 12:12 PM
NBA Injury Report
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Tuesday.
Analysis: Williams has missed the last eight games, but there is a chance he returns to the lineup against the Spurs. Ja Morant (calf) is also questionable, so the status of both players will impact Cam Spencer's place in the rotation.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (calf) questionable vs. San Antonio
Mon, Jan 5, 2026, 12:08 PM
NBA Injury Report
Ja Morant (calf) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Tuesday.
Analysis: Morant missed Sunday's game against the Lakers but could return to take on San Antonio. Cam Spencer started in his stead, and while he dished out nine assists, he struggled with his shot. Spencer would likely be in for another start if Morant remains out.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale posts double-double in spot start
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 6:21 PM
Jock Landale accumulated 13 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists and one three-pointer in Sunday's loss to the Lakers.
Analysis: After playing 20 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss to the Lakers, Landale received the starting nod on Sunday, replacing Christian Koloko. The 30-year-old center responded with his fourth double-double of the season. However, while Landale put up a solid effort on Sunday, his production still isn't at the point where he has to be streamed, especially with Santi Aldama still available in more than half of Yahoo! leagues. As for Koloko, he played 13 minutes on Sunday, finishing with six points, two rebounds and two steals.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama records 12/9/7/1 line vs. Lakers
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 6:20 PM
Santi Aldama finished Sunday's loss to the Lakers with 12 points (4-of-13 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal.
Analysis: Despite coming off the bench, Aldama continues to provide reliable fantasy value. Over the past two weeks, the Grizzlies forward has been a seventh-round player in eight-cat formats. Aldama didn't have the best night shooting the basketball, but the rebounds and assists compensated for that. The Grizzlies play four games in Week 12, and he'll be worth rostering for the foreseeable future, especially with Zach Edey (ankle) sidelined.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama (ankle) available Sunday vs. LAL
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 2:42 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Santi Aldama (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Aldama is good to go after initially being listed as questionable. He'll take on his usual reserve role, but the former first-round pick boasts a higher fantasy ceiling with Ja Morant (calf) unavailable.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (calf) downgraded to out Sunday vs. LAL
Sun, Jan 4, 2026, 2:40 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Ja Morant (calf) is out for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Due to a right calf contusion, Morant will miss Sunday's rematch after logging 31 minutes in Friday's loss to the Lakers. Cam Spencer will likely move into the starting lineup to run the point, with Javon Small playing backup minutes off the bench. Spencer is worth streaming in 12-team leagues; he should already be rostered in 14-team leagues.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) out Sunday vs. Lakers
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 2:17 PM
NBA Injury Report
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Williams will miss an eighth straight game with left patellar tendinitis, leaving Cam Spencer to handle the backup point guard responsibilities. How valuable Spencer is to fantasy managers depends on starter Ja Morant, who's questionable with a right calf contusion.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (calf) questionable Sunday vs. Lakers
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 2:14 PM
NBA Injury Report
Ja Morant (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Morant, who played 31 minutes in Friday's loss to the Lakers, is dealing with a right calf contusion. If he's unable to play in Sunday's rematch, the Grizzlies will turn to Cam Spencer to run the point. Also, two-way player Javon Small would likely be active if Morant sits.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama (ankle) questionable Sunday vs. LAL
Sat, Jan 3, 2026, 2:11 PM
NBA Injury Report
Santi Aldama (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Aldama has been a key reserve for the Grizzlies this season, playing well enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team formats. If he's unable to play on Sunday, Aldama's minutes will likely be absorbed by Jock Landale and GG Jackson.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope hits four triples, scores 20 points
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 7:13 PM
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished Friday's loss to the Lakers with 20 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, two steals and four three-pointers.
Analysis: Back in the rotation after sitting out Tuesday's overtime loss to the 76ers, Caldwell-Pope enjoyed one of his best games of the season. A double-digit scorer in six of his last seven appearances, the veteran guard recorded his first 20-point game of the season on Friday. All that Caldwell-Pope's stat line lacked was a blocked shot. However, despite how well he played against one of his former teams, KCP is not worth the risk in most leagues. Unless there's a dire need for a “Hail Mary” on Sunday, there's no need to pick him up ahead of the rematch with the Lakers to end Week 11.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant dishes out 11 assists vs. Lakers
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 7:12 PM
Ja Morant accumulated 16 points (7-of-18 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, 11 assists and two steals in Friday's loss to the Lakers.
Analysis: While he didn't offer great value as a scorer, Morant's 11 assists were the most he's had in a game since November 7 (13 vs. Dallas). Since returning from injury on December 26, the Grizzlies' point guard has offered fifth-round per-game value in eight-cat formats. Morant certainly has the potential to be more productive, but many fantasy managers likely remain concerned due to the injury risk. The Grizzlies face the Lakers again on Sunday to end Week 11.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. leads Grizzlies with 25 points
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 7:12 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. tallied 25 points (12-of-15 FGs, 1-of-5 FTs), one rebound, two assists and one steal in Friday's loss to the Lakers.
Analysis: The good news for fantasy managers is that Jackson scored 25 points, making it four of the last five games that he's scored at least 21 points. The bad news is that he didn't do much else. Jackson landed in early foul trouble, picking up four before halftime. That affected how he went about his business, as evidenced by the lack of blocked shots. While Jackson has never been an excellent rebounder, grabbing just one is poor. Hopefully, he can bring more to the table in Sunday's rematch to end Week 11.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) available Friday vs. LAL
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 3:37 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is available for Friday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: After a one-game absence, Caldwell-Pope is available to play. The veteran guard will handle his usual reserve duties, where there isn't much fantasy value to be gained.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) upgraded to probable
Fri, Jan 2, 2026, 10:04 AM
NBA Injury Report
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) is probable for Friday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Caldwell-Pope is on track to return after sitting out Tuesday's loss to the 76ers. This would likely result in fewer minutes for GG Jackson, who logged 23 against Philadelphia. Neither player has done enough to affect fantasy basketball this season.
