Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. posts 10/10/5/2 stat line
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 5:17 PM
Vince Williams Jr. accumulated 10 points (3-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: One game removed from recording a career-high 15 assists, Williams posted his first double-double of the season on Saturday. Due to Ja Morant's injuries, Williams has started four of Memphis' last five games. During this stretch, he's only been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. While that isn't impressive, the opportunity is what makes Williams worth the streaming risk in deep leagues.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey corrals season-high 15 rebounds vs. DAL
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 5:17 PM
Zach Edey produced 12 points (2-of-3 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), 15 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocked shots in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: Despite only having three official field-goal attempts, Edey notched his first double-double in four appearances this season. Over the past week, the 7-foot-4 center has provided third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, well above his Yahoo! ADP of 118. Expecting Edey to maintain this value for the entire season may not be realistic, as the Grizzlies have been without Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. However, a top-100 season feels like the minimum expectation for a post player of his skill level.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama scores 14 second-half points vs. DAL
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 5:15 PM
Santi Aldama amassed 20 points (9-of-17 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: After a quiet first half in which he scored six points, Aldama stepped up after halftime. He scored 14 second-half points, combining with guard Cam Spencer to push the Grizzlies over the finish line. In two starts for the injured Jaren Jackson Jr., Aldama has scored 49 points on 20-of-35 shooting from the field, recording complete stat lines in both outings. With the Grizzlies playing four games in Week 6, starting with the Nuggets on Monday, it would be a good idea to add Aldama, given the injuries Jackson and Jock Landale (neck) are dealing with.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (neck) will not return Saturday
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 3:53 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (neck) will not return to Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Landale played five minutes in the first half before being shut down due to neck soreness. Shooting 3-of-6 from the field, he finished with seven points, one rebound, one assist and one three-pointer. Landale's exit won't affect the starting lineup, but it will further deplete the Grizzlies' frontcourt depth. Memphis may have to stagger Zach Edey and Santi Aldama's minutes, with Olivier-Maxence Prosper picking up additional minutes off the bench.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) out Saturday vs. Dallas
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 1:49 PM
Matt Infield
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is out for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Initially doubtful for Saturday's game, Jackson has officially been ruled out. That means Santi Aldama will get another start, and he should be streamed until the Grizzlies get their starting power forward back.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome (calf) out another 6-9 weeks
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 6:10 AM
Grizzlies PR
Ty Jerome (calf) is expected to miss the next 6-9 weeks.
Analysis: Jerome suffered a high-grade calf strain during the preseason. At the time, the update was that he'd be re-evaluated in four weeks. Four weeks later, the 28-year-old point guard is expected to miss another 6-9 weeks. Jaylen Wells will continue to pick up minutes while Jerome is out.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) doubtful Saturday
Fri, Nov 21, 2025, 12:11 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Jackson did not play in Thursday's win over the Kings, which resulted in Santi Aldama moving into the starting lineup. Aldama went off for 29 points and should be rostered in 12-team leagues whenever Jackson is unavailable. With JJJ considered doubtful, Saturday could be another big day for Aldama.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale scores 21 points in 15 minutes
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 4:28 PM
Jock Landale accounted for 21 points (8-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, and one three-pointer in Thursday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: With Zach Edey (16/4/0/2 with one three-pointer) operating in his usual role as the starting center, Landale's opportunities can be limited. However, he made the most of his 15 minutes on Thursday, scoring a season-high 21 points and grabbing six rebounds. This performance isn't enough to make Landale a player worth rostering, but it's a reminder that his fantasy ceiling is higher when Edey is unavailable.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama goes off for 29 points in spot start
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 4:26 PM
Santi Aldama accumulated 29 points (11-of-18 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and five three-pointers in Thursday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: Already playing without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies did not have Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) for Thursday's game. No need for concern, apparently, as Aldama was ready to fill the void. The 29 points were a season-high for the forward/center, whose final stat line only lacked a steal. The Grizzlies visit Dallas on Saturday, and Aldama should be streamed if Jackson remains sidelined.
Santi Aldama
MEM starts Vince, Coward, Wells, Aldama, Edey
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 1:37 PM
NBA Lineups
Vince Williams Jr., Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Santi Aldama and Zach Edey will start Thursday's game against the Kings.
Analysis: Already playing without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies will not have Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) available for Thursday's game. He'll be replaced in the lineup by Aldama, who's worth streaming in this spot. Williams will get another start for Morant, and he's worth a look in deep leagues.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) out Thursday vs. SAC
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 12:25 PM
Chirs Biderman
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against the Kings.
Analysis: Jackson, who sprained his right ankle during Tuesday's loss to the Spurs, will miss a game for the first time this season. Santi Aldama is the likely replacement, but his fantasy ceiling will be raised even if he comes off the bench.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) doubtful Thursday
Wed, Nov 19, 2025, 12:13 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Kings.
Analysis: Jackson is listed as doubtful with a right ankle sprain. The 26-year-old power forward isn't expected to play, leaving the Grizzlies potentially without one of their best players. Jackson was in the midst of a down stretch anyway as his season averages to start the year are down from last year across the board. Santi Aldama could move into the starting lineup if Jackson is out on Thursday.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. dishes out nine assists vs. SAS
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 4:59 PM
Vince Williams Jr. accumulated 14 points (5-of-13 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, nine assists and one three-pointer in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs.
Analysis: Tuesday's game was the first for Memphis since losing Ja Morant to a strained calf, and Williams was head coach Tuomas Iisalo's pick to move into the starting lineup. Result aside, this was a good night for the former second-round pick, who finished two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double. Williams only committed one turnover in his 30 minutes, which is especially concerning. On the heels of this performance, he's worth picking up in deep leagues.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. scores 18 points vs. San Antonio
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 4:57 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. accounted for 18 points (8-of-20 FGs), six rebounds, three assists and two three-pointers in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs.
Analysis: Jackson had a decent night scoring-wise, but the lack of defensive stats is concerning for a player who has been a mediocre rebounder. Counting Tuesday, he's averaging 1.3 blocks per game, and this would be the third straight season in which JJJ has averaged fewer than two if that were to hold. Not only has his value in redraft leagues been disappointing so far, but dynasty managers can't be thrilled with Jackson, either.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. starting in place of Ja Morant
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 1:44 PM
NBA Lineups
Vince Williams Jr., Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Zach Edey will start against the Spurs on Tuesday.
Analysis: As expected, Williams will start in place of Ja Morant, who is set to miss at least two weeks with a calf strain. Williams was really good as a starter two years ago for the Grizzlies but was injured for much of last season. His role this year hasn't been large, but he should be worth streaming until Morant is back.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) available Tuesday
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 12:11 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) is off the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Prosper is back after sitting out Saturday's loss to the Cavaliers, with his absence resulting in more minutes for fellow reserve John Konchar. This news does not affect fantasy basketball, as O-Max has played 20+ minutes just once this season and Konchar has not done so since October 27.
Ja Morant
Shams: Ja Morant (calf) out at least two weeks
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 9:14 AM
Shams Charania
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Ja Morant will be out for at least two weeks due to a Grade 1 calf strain.
Analysis: Morant's extended absence should open up new opportunities for Jaylen Wells, Cam Spencer and Vince Williams, though Wells is the preferred add. Javon Small could get a boost off the bench once he's back in action, but he's not worth a look outside of deep leagues.
Jaren Jackson
JJJ scores 26 points despite rough shooting night
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 2:10 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 26 points (6-of-23 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers in a 108-100 loss to the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: Jackson led the Grizzlies in scoring, but it was a tough night for him. He had his worst shooting percentage of the season, but he was able to get to the free throw line often and have success from there. Ja Morant (calf) exited early, and if he misses time, Jackson will only become more important to this offense. This was a new season-high for points, shot attempts and free throw attempts for Jackson.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. starts second half vs. Cavs
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 2:06 PM
Vince Williams Jr. started the second half on Saturday and contributed eight points (3-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals and two three-pointers against the Cavaliers.
Analysis: Williams started in place of Ja Morant when he missed Wednesday's game with an ankle injury, and he replaced Morant to start the second half on Saturday after the star point guard exited with a calf injury. Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Javon Small are all dealing with long-term injuries, so the only other point guard on the roster is Cam Spencer. If Morant remains out beyond this game, Williams will hold value as a streaming option.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey scores 13 points in season debut
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 1:58 PM
Zach Edey finished with 13 points (3-of-6 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: After missing the first 13 games of the season, Edey was available to make his season debut. He immediately slid into the starting lineup and logged 24 minutes. He was likely limited in his first game back, but Jock Landale was still able to play 19 minutes off the bench. Edey was really productive during his time on the floor despite an early exit from Ja Morant (calf). This was a great start to the season for Edey, who is currently rostered in just 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
