Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. dishes out career-high 17 dimes
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 5:03 PM
Vince Williams Jr. finished Wednesday's win over the Pelicans with five points (2-of-6 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, 17 assists, two steals and one blocked shot.
Analysis: Less than a week removed from dishing out 15 assists against the Kings, Williams recorded a new career-high in that category on Wednesday. He didn't do much scoring and was responsible for six turnovers, but the assists, rebounds and “stocks” meant that Williams managers didn't lose out on value. Rostered in 23 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has provided top-100 fantasy value over the past week. The Grizzlies play two more games during Week 6, and Vince is worth a look with Ja Morant sidelined.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey posts 21 points, 15 rebounds vs. NOR
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 5:01 PM
Zach Edey accounted for 21 points (10-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 15 rebounds, one steal and two blocked shots in Wednesday's win over the Pelicans.
Analysis: Edey matched his season-high in rebounds and notched his first 20-point game on Wednesday. The Pelicans struggled to find an answer for him offensively, as Edey was able to hover around the paint for most of the night. He's only played in six games thus far, but the fantasy returns are promising. We'll see what happens once Ja Morant returns from injury, but Edey should be a valuable center throughout the season.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. scores game-high 27 points
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 5:01 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. accumulated 27 points (9-of-23 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block and five three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Pelicans.
Analysis: Not only were Jackson's 27 points a game-high, but they were also the most he's scored in a game this season. While the rebounding production remains disappointing, JJJ's overall stat line in Wednesday's overtime victory was solid. The good news for Jackson managers is that he's closing in on top-100 value. However, no one expected him to be that low in the rankings when the season began. The Grizzlies continue their road trip with games against the Clippers and Kings to end Week 6.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (head) available Wednesday vs. Pelicans
Wed, Nov 26, 2025, 1:16 PM
Damichael Cole
Zach Edey (head) will be available to play on Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Analysis: Edey is back in the lineup after a head injury on Monday against the Nuggets forced him to exit after only six minutes. He'll likely return to the starting lineup for the sixth time in as many games. The sophomore center got a late start to the season due to an ankle injury delaying his debut until mid-November. He's currently averaging 10.2 points and 7.6 rebounds.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (head) present at Tuesday practice
Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 10:29 AM
Michael Wallace
Zach Edey (head) attended practice on Tuesday after exiting Monday's loss to the Nuggets during the first quarter.
Analysis: Edey suffered a head injury during the first quarter, departing after six minutes of action. His presence at practice on Tuesday is a positive development, but it does not guarantee the 7-foot-4 center's availability for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans. If Edey can't play, Jock Landale will be the next man up at center.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) scores 16 in return
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 4:37 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) finished Monday's loss to the Nuggets with 16 points (7-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, four assists and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Back in action after a two-game absence, Jackson struggled with his perimeter shot on Monday. The Grizzlies' forward/center was 1-of-8 from beyond the arc, but that wasn't the most disappointing part of his night. Jackson did not record any defensive stats, and those categories are crucial for a mediocre rebounder like him. JJJ exceeded his season average in rebounds on Monday, but the 5.3 per game would be the lowest mark for him since the 2019-20 season (4.6).
Jock Landale
Jock Landale posts 26/10/2 stat line vs. Denver
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 4:36 PM
Jock Landale tallied 26 points (10-of-18 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in Monday's loss to the Nuggets.
Analysis: Landale began the season as Memphis' starting center due to Zach Edey's recovery from ankle surgery. And a return to the lineup may be in the cards following Tuesday's defeat. Edey took a shot to the head during the first quarter and did not return, leaving Landale to fill the void. The veteran center finished with the first 20/10 game of his NBA career, and the 26 points matched his career-high. With the Grizzlies being one of the few teams that play four games during Week 6, Landale will be a valuable option if Edey misses time.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (head) doubtful to return Monday
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 2:46 PM
Marc J. Spears
Zach Edey (head) is doubtful to return to Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Edey took a shot to the head during the first quarter of Monday's game, exiting after playing just six minutes. With the 7-foot-4 center unlikely to return, the Grizzlies will rely on Jock Landale and Santi Aldama to absorb the minutes that would have gone to Edey. Aldama offers a higher fantasy ceiling, but Landale would be the starter if Edey misses time beyond Monday.
Jaren Jackson
MEM starts Williams, Coward, Wells, Jackson, Edey
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 1:37 PM
NBA Lineups
Vince Williams Jr., Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Zach Edey will start Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Analysis: Jackson is back in the lineup after missing two games with a sprained right ankle. As a result, Santi Aldama returns to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a slight hit. That's the lone change to the Grizzlies' starting five.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) available Monday vs. Nuggets
Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 1:14 PM
Grizzlies PR
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) will play against the Nuggets on Monday.
Analysis: Jackson will return to the lineup after missing the last two games. His return could send Santi Aldama back to the bench for a Grizzlies team that is riding a multiple-game winning streak for the first time all season. Jackson is averaging 17.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game in his 8th NBA season.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (neck) removed from injury report
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 12:07 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (neck) is not on the injury report for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Analysis: Landale exited Saturday's win over the Mavericks during the first half with a sore neck and did not return. However, he's off the injury report for Monday's matchup with the Denver. He'll serve as Zach Edey's backup, which is not a good place to be when it comes to generating tangible fantasy value.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) questionable Monday
Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 12:04 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Analysis: Jackson has missed Memphis' last two games with a sprained right ankle, with Santi Aldama replacing him in the lineup. If JJJ remains out, Aldama will get another start, and he's worth rostering in 12-team formats while that is the case.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. posts 10/10/5/2 stat line
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 5:17 PM
Vince Williams Jr. accumulated 10 points (3-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: One game removed from recording a career-high 15 assists, Williams posted his first double-double of the season on Saturday. Due to Ja Morant's injuries, Williams has started four of Memphis' last five games. During this stretch, he's only been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. While that isn't impressive, the opportunity is what makes Williams worth the streaming risk in deep leagues.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey corrals season-high 15 rebounds vs. DAL
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 5:17 PM
Zach Edey produced 12 points (2-of-3 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), 15 rebounds, three assists, one steal and four blocked shots in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: Despite only having three official field-goal attempts, Edey notched his first double-double in four appearances this season. Over the past week, the 7-foot-4 center has provided third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, well above his Yahoo! ADP of 118. Expecting Edey to maintain this value for the entire season may not be realistic, as the Grizzlies have been without Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. However, a top-100 season feels like the minimum expectation for a post player of his skill level.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama scores 14 second-half points vs. DAL
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 5:15 PM
Santi Aldama amassed 20 points (9-of-17 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
Analysis: After a quiet first half in which he scored six points, Aldama stepped up after halftime. He scored 14 second-half points, combining with guard Cam Spencer to push the Grizzlies over the finish line. In two starts for the injured Jaren Jackson Jr., Aldama has scored 49 points on 20-of-35 shooting from the field, recording complete stat lines in both outings. With the Grizzlies playing four games in Week 6, starting with the Nuggets on Monday, it would be a good idea to add Aldama, given the injuries Jackson and Jock Landale (neck) are dealing with.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale (neck) will not return Saturday
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 3:53 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale (neck) will not return to Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Landale played five minutes in the first half before being shut down due to neck soreness. Shooting 3-of-6 from the field, he finished with seven points, one rebound, one assist and one three-pointer. Landale's exit won't affect the starting lineup, but it will further deplete the Grizzlies' frontcourt depth. Memphis may have to stagger Zach Edey and Santi Aldama's minutes, with Olivier-Maxence Prosper picking up additional minutes off the bench.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) out Saturday vs. Dallas
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 1:49 PM
Matt Infield
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is out for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Initially doubtful for Saturday's game, Jackson has officially been ruled out. That means Santi Aldama will get another start, and he should be streamed until the Grizzlies get their starting power forward back.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome (calf) out another 6-9 weeks
Sat, Nov 22, 2025, 6:10 AM
Grizzlies PR
Ty Jerome (calf) is expected to miss the next 6-9 weeks.
Analysis: Jerome suffered a high-grade calf strain during the preseason. At the time, the update was that he'd be re-evaluated in four weeks. Four weeks later, the 28-year-old point guard is expected to miss another 6-9 weeks. Jaylen Wells will continue to pick up minutes while Jerome is out.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) doubtful Saturday
Fri, Nov 21, 2025, 12:11 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Jaren Jackson Jr. (ankle) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Jackson did not play in Thursday's win over the Kings, which resulted in Santi Aldama moving into the starting lineup. Aldama went off for 29 points and should be rostered in 12-team leagues whenever Jackson is unavailable. With JJJ considered doubtful, Saturday could be another big day for Aldama.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale scores 21 points in 15 minutes
Thu, Nov 20, 2025, 4:28 PM
Jock Landale accounted for 21 points (8-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, and one three-pointer in Thursday's win over the Kings.
Analysis: With Zach Edey (16/4/0/2 with one three-pointer) operating in his usual role as the starting center, Landale's opportunities can be limited. However, he made the most of his 15 minutes on Thursday, scoring a season-high 21 points and grabbing six rebounds. This performance isn't enough to make Landale a player worth rostering, but it's a reminder that his fantasy ceiling is higher when Edey is unavailable.
