Jaren Jackson
JJJ scores 26 points despite rough shooting night
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 2:10 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 26 points (6-of-23 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers in a 108-100 loss to the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: Jackson led the Grizzlies in scoring, but it was a tough night for him. He had his worst shooting percentage of the season, but he was able to get to the free throw line often and have success from there. Ja Morant (calf) exited early, and if he misses time, Jackson will only become more important to this offense. This was a new season-high for points, shot attempts and free throw attempts for Jackson.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. starts second half vs. Cavs
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 2:06 PM
Vince Williams Jr. started the second half on Saturday and contributed eight points (3-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, four assists, two steals and two three-pointers against the Cavaliers.
Analysis: Williams started in place of Ja Morant when he missed Wednesday's game with an ankle injury, and he replaced Morant to start the second half on Saturday after the star point guard exited with a calf injury. Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr. and Javon Small are all dealing with long-term injuries, so the only other point guard on the roster is Cam Spencer. If Morant remains out beyond this game, Williams will hold value as a streaming option.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey scores 13 points in season debut
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 1:58 PM
Zach Edey finished with 13 points (3-of-6 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, two steals and two blocks against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: After missing the first 13 games of the season, Edey was available to make his season debut. He immediately slid into the starting lineup and logged 24 minutes. He was likely limited in his first game back, but Jock Landale was still able to play 19 minutes off the bench. Edey was really productive during his time on the floor despite an early exit from Ja Morant (calf). This was a great start to the season for Edey, who is currently rostered in just 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
Ja Morant
Morant (calf) will not return vs. Cleveland
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 11:45 AM
Grizzlies PR
Ja Morant (calf) will not return to Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.
Analysis: Memphis was finally healthy entering this game, but that didn't last long. Morant's early exit should lead to extra minutes for Vince Williams Jr. and Cam Spencer. Hopefully this won't be a long-term absence, but Williams would likely be worth streaming if it is; he started when Morant missed Wednesday's game against Boston.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) out vs. Cavs
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 10:41 AM
NBA Injury Report
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) has been ruled out against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: Prosper played a large role in the Grizzlies' last game, which was a blowout loss. Prior to that, he hadn't been part of the rotation. His absence in this game may provide a few extra minutes for GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (ankle) available to make season debut
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 10:34 AM
Grizzlies PR
Zach Edey (ankle) is available to play against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: Edey will be available to play for the first time this season, and it has already been announced that he will start. He may have his minutes managed in his first game back, but he'll be part of the opening group, which likely means Jock Landale will be pushed to a reserve role.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper
O-Max (quad) questionable vs. Cleveland
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 11:25 AM
Grizzlies PR
Olivier-Maxence Prosper (quad) is questionable to play against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: Prosper played a large role against Boston on Wednesday in the blowout loss, but he hasn't played a consistent role for Memphis this year. His potential absence could open up a few minutes for GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr. with Cedric Coward (foot) doubtful, but that won't make either wing worth streaming.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (ankle) questionable vs. Cleveland
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 11:17 AM
Grizzlies PR
Zach Edey (ankle) is questionable to play against the Cavaliers on Saturday.
Analysis: Edey has been sidelined all season, but there is a chance he makes his debut against Cleveland. Jock Landale has been starting at center, but Edey's return will eventually return Landale to a reserve role, even if it doesn't happen in his first game back.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope (elbow) not on injury report
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 11:14 AM
Grizzlies PR
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (elbow) is not on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.
Analysis: KCP exited early from Wednesday's game, but the elbow injury won't keep him sidelined against Cleveland. KCP should occupy his typical spot in the starting lineup.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (ankle) off injury report vs. Cleveland
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 11:11 AM
Grizzlies PR
Ja Morant (ankle) is not on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.
Analysis: Morant missed Wednesday's game against Boston, which resulted in Vince Williams Jr. starting in his place. Morant's return will push Williams back to the bench, which will eliminate any streaming value he held. If Morant misses time in the future, and Scotty Pippen Jr. and Ty Jerome remain out, Williams could hold value as a streamer.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams starts, scores 12 points vs. Boston
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 4:43 PM
Vince Williams added 12 points (4-of-12 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, and three three-pointers against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Analysis: Williams replaced Ja Morant in the starting lineup on Wednesday and had an up-and-down performance in his 25 minutes. He did well on the glass and flashed some facilitating skills, but shot inefficiently from beyond the arc during the blowout loss. If Morant can't go on Saturday against the Cavaliers, Williams is likely to remain in the starting lineup. Regardless, he'll have a chance to improve on Wednesday's performance.
Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama scores 14 points off bench vs. Boston
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 4:36 PM
Santi Aldama produced 14 points (4-of-11 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers on Wednesday against the Celtics.
Analysis: Aldama was one of the most productive Grizzlies against the Celtics on Wednesday. He finished second on the team in scoring, tied for the most rebounds and assists, and used active hands on the defensive end to collect three stocks. Inefficient shooting prevented Aldama from having an even more productive performance. Still, he finished with a solid line in the loss.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. scores 18 points against Boston
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 4:30 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. finished Wednesday's loss to the Celtics with 18 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, one steal, one block and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Jackson Jr. played just 23 minutes on Wednesday, thanks to the score being one-sided, in favor of the Celtics. He led the Grizzlies in scoring and led the team in field-goal attempts along the way. He added a couple stocks on the defensive end but otherwise found very little production elsewhere. Jackson has scored 17 or more points in six of seven games during November.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Caldwell-Pope (elbow) will not return Wednesday
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 3:14 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (elbow) will not return to Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Caldwell-Pope's night has ended prematurely due to a sore right elbow. He played 19 minutes, going scoreless (0-of-3 FGs) with three rebounds, three assists and one steal. KCP's absence should result in more playing time for rookie Cedric Coward, who has been Memphis' best performer this season in terms of fantasy value. He'll be an even more popular fantasy add if Caldwell-Pope misses time.
Vince Williams
MEM starts Williams, Wells, KCP, Jackson, Landale
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 1:17 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Vince Williams Jr., Jaylen Wells, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jock Landale will start Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Memphis will not have Ja Morant for Wednesday's game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Williams will replace him, although Cam Spencer should also play plenty. Williams' production when available this season does not make him a must-stream player, but this is a good opportunity for him to show what he can do in a more prominent role.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (ankle) ruled out Wednesday vs. Celtics
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 12:40 PM
Marc Stein
Ja Morant (ankle) will not play against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Analysis: Ankle soreness will give Morant his first injury-related absence of the season, as he is set to miss Wednesday's game when the Grizzlies take on the Celtics on the second night of a back-to-back. Morant is currently averaging his fewest points per game since his rookie season and is logging a career-high in turnovers per game. Cam Spencer is a candidate to replace Morant in the starting lineup.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (ankle) out Wednesday vs. Boston
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 12:12 PM
Bobby Manning
Zach Edey (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: While Edey is closing in on a return to game action, he isn't ready just yet. Jock Landale has filled in as the starting center and will retain that role until Edey is ready to play.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (ankle) doubtful Wednesday vs. Celtics
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 7:29 AM
Zach Edey (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Edey is still yet to appear in game this season, but his doubtful listing is a step in the right direction in his recovery. Grizzlies coach Tuomas lisalo told reporters he's seen Edey practice recently and that he's still not 100 percent. The 23-year-old center is getting closer to a return, but don't expect him to be available Wednesday against the Celtics.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (ankle) questionable Wednesday vs. BOS
Wed, Nov 12, 2025, 7:28 AM
Ja Morant (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Analysis: Morant is dealing with right ankle soreness. The 26-year-old point guard's status is truly up in the air given his questionable listing. The Grizzlies are on the second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Knicks Tuesday night. Morant has appeared in 11 of the team's 12 games this year, though durability hasn't been his strong suit over the course of his career.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. posts 14/9/6 line vs. New York
Tue, Nov 11, 2025, 4:27 PM
Vince Williams Jr. amassed 14 points (4-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists and three three-pointers in Tuesday's loss to the Knicks.
Analysis: The Grizzlies accumulated 22 turnovers on the night, with Williams being responsible for five. However, he had a solid night overall, establishing season-highs in rebounds and assists while matching his previous high in points. Rostered in one percent of Yahoo! leagues, Williams has not been productive enough to impact fantasy basketball. Leave him on the waiver wire.
