Santi Aldama
Santi Aldama matches career-high 37 points
Tue, Dec 23, 2025, 7:01 PM
Santi Aldama led the Grizzlies with 37 points (13-of-21 FGs), five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and seven three-pointers in a 137-128 win over the Jazz on Tuesday.
Analysis: Aldama returned to the starting lineup in this game and led Memphis to win. He set a new career high for threes and matched his career high for points, which he set three days prior to this game. A dud against the Thunder was sandwiched between two 37-point outings. Aldama continues to be a consistent producer for Memphis, which is helpful with how many injuries they have dealt with in the frontcourt. Aldama is available in 55 percent of Yahoo! leagues but should be considered a must-roster player at this point.
GG Jackson
GG Jackson starts, chips in 18 points, nine boards
Tue, Dec 23, 2025, 6:56 PM
GG Jackson started on Tuesday and contributed 18 points (7-of-9 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers against the Jazz.
Analysis: With Cedric Coward (heel) sidelined, Jackson got the starting nod for the first time this season. The third-year wing had his best game of the season, nearly recording a double-double in the win. Jackson entered the league young and just turned 21 last week. He still holds plenty of upside, but he can't deliver for fantasy managers if he doesn't get the opportunity. Hopefully this performance will allow him to remain in the rotation moving forward, but he isn't worth adding at this point.
GG Jackson
MEM starting Spencer, Wells, Jackson, JJJ, Aldama
Tue, Dec 23, 2025, 2:41 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Cam Spencer, Jaylen Wells, GG Jackson, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama against the Jazz on Tuesday.
Analysis: With Cedric Coward (heel) sidelined, GG Jackson will enter the starting lineup for the first time this season. His role has been minimal this year, but he has plenty of upside as a scorer. Aldama will also return to the starting lineup, which bumps Jock Landale to the bench.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant, Vince Williams out Tuesday vs. Utah
Tue, Dec 23, 2025, 9:55 AM
NBA Injury Report
Ja Morant (ankle) and Vince Williams (foot) are out for Tuesday's matchup with the Jazz.
Analysis: Cedric Coward (heel) is questionable, so Cam Spencer should be in line for big minutes. Spencer has been quite productive as of late, and he should be rostered in all 12-team leagues.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope his five triples vs. OKC
Mon, Dec 22, 2025, 6:01 PM
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope finished Monday's loss to the Thunder with 16 points (5-of-6 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, four assists and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Caldwell-Pope's five three-pointers were a season-high for the veteran guard, who also matched his high point total on Tuesday. While capable of providing a few three-pointers off the bench, that isn't enough to make KCP a player worth rostering on most nights. Even with Monday's showing, leave Caldwell-Pope on the waiver wire.
Jock Landale
MEM starts Spencer, Wells, Coward, JJJ, Landale
Mon, Dec 22, 2025, 3:09 PM
NBA Lineups
Cam Spencer, Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jock Landale will start Monday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Already without Zach Edey, the Grizzlies lost Brandon Clarke to a strained calf during Saturday's loss to the Wizards. As a result, Landale will make his first start since November 12. He's worth streaming in deep leagues, while Santi Aldama will also have added value despite coming off the bench.
Brandon Clarke
Brandon Clarke (calf) out at least 3 weeks
Mon, Dec 22, 2025, 8:49 AM
Marc J. Spears
NBA insider Marc J. Spears reports that Brandon Clarke suffered a Grade 2 right calf strain and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Analysis: Clarke has appeared in only two games this season, and he was forced to exit Saturday's loss to the Wizards early with a strained right calf. Santi Aldama and Jock Landale should continue to soak up frontcourt minutes with Zach Edey out. Christian Koloko recently inked a 10-day deal, and he'll provide backup depth at the position.
Christian Koloko
Christian Koloko signs 10-day deal with Memphis
Mon, Dec 22, 2025, 6:12 AM
Shams Charania
Grizzlies signed Christian Koloko to a 10-day contract via hardship exception.
Analysis: With Zach Edey on the shelf, the Grizzlies have relied on Santi Aldama and Jock Landale to hold things down at center. Koloko will provide depth at a position of need, but he's unlikely to see enough run to merit an add in standard fantasy leagues.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) out Monday vs. OKC
Sun, Dec 21, 2025, 12:25 PM
NBA Injury Report
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is out for Monday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Williams will miss a second straight game, meaning that Cam Spencer will remain in the starting lineup. Spencer played 37 minutes on Saturday and should be rostered while Williams and Ja Morant are out.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (ankle) out Monday vs. Oklahoma City
Sun, Dec 21, 2025, 12:21 PM
NBA Injury Report
Ja Morant (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Monday's game makes it three on the sidelines for Morant since spraining his left ankle during a December 15 win over the Clippers. With Vince Williams Jr. also out, Cam Spencer will likely move into the starting lineup. While this is a challenging matchup, Spencer is worth streaming in deep leagues.
Brandon Clarke
Brandon Clarke (calf) out Monday vs. Oklahoma City
Sun, Dec 21, 2025, 12:14 PM
NBA Injury Report
Brandon Clarke (calf) is out for Monday's game against the Thunder.
Analysis: Clarke exited Saturday's loss to the Wizards with a strained right calf, and this injury could cost him multiple games. Santi Aldama moved into the lineup to begin the third quarter, and he may be called on to start against the Thunder. Jock Landale will also figure more prominently in the Grizzlies' rotation.
Santi Aldama
Aldama torches Wizards for 37 points in loss
Sat, Dec 20, 2025, 4:41 PM
Santi Aldama erupted for a season-high 37 points (15-of-23 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block over 35 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Wizards.
Analysis: Aldama saw a massive uptick in usage with Brandon Clarke exiting this one after just a handful of minutes with a calf injury. The 24-year-old amassed a season-high 23 shot attempts and shot 65.2 percent from the floor, including knocking down 5-of-9 from three-point range. It would be unrealistic to expect him to go full supernova on a regular basis, but he's a streaky scorer capable of lighting up opposing teams when he's in a groove. He'll see additional minutes next week if Clark winds up requiring an extended absence, especially since Zach Edey is still dealing with an ankle issue. The Grizzlies kick off a four-game week on Monday with a road matchup against a powerhouse Thunder before facing the Jazz and Bucks before a rematch against the Wizards.
Jaren Jackson
Jackson delivers 22/8/3/2 line in loss to Wizards
Sat, Dec 20, 2025, 4:39 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. amassed 22 points (7-of-18 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Wizards.
Analysis: Jackson has been one of the most impactful all-around threats in the fantasy landscape over the past week, averaging 27.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.7 blocks over his last three games. He's scored at least 22 points in each of those contests and has eight blocks during that span. That'll do.
Brandon Clarke
Brandon Clarke (calf) doubtful to return Saturday
Sat, Dec 20, 2025, 2:33 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Brandon Clarke (calf) is doubtful to return to Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Clarke started Saturday's game but played four minutes before exiting with a sore right calf. Reserves Santi Aldama and Jock Landale will have added importance, especially with Zach Edey (ankle) out for a few more weeks.
Vince Williams
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) out Saturday vs. WAS
Fri, Dec 19, 2025, 12:15 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Vince Williams Jr. (knee) is out for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Williams is out with a sore left knee, joining Ja Morant (ankle) on the sidelines. Cam Spencer is back after missing Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves for personal reasons, and he's worth rostering even if the Grizzlies stick with Cedric Coward and Jaylen Wells as their starting backcourt.
Ja Morant
Ja Morant (ankle) out Saturday vs. Washington
Fri, Dec 19, 2025, 12:12 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Ja Morant (ankle) is out for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Saturday's game will be the second that Morant has missed since spraining his left ankle during Monday's win over the Clippers. With Vince Williams Jr. also out, Cam Spencer should move into the starting lineup. Given how well he's played over the last month, Spencer will be worth rostering on Saturday.
Jock Landale
Jock Landale posts 20/10/3/2/1 line vs. Minnesota
Wed, Dec 17, 2025, 5:06 PM
Jock Landale amassed 20 points (8-of-15 FGs), 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and four three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves.
Analysis: With Brandon Clarke (knee) making his season debut, there may have been some concern among those who have held onto Landale. However, with Clarke under a minutes restriction, he played 30 minutes off the bench and finished with one of his best lines of the season. The double-double was the second of the season for Landale, who also recorded his third 20-point game. With Clarke's playing time restricted and Zach Edey (ankle) unavailable, those who held onto Landale for this long might as well stick with him for a few more games.
Brandon Clarke
Brandon Clarke plays 17 minutes in season debut
Wed, Dec 17, 2025, 5:05 PM
Brandon Clarke tallied six points (2-of-7 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Clarke made his season debut on Wednesday, and to the surprise of many, he did so as a starter. His first stint on the floor lasted just under four minutes, and the Grizzlies are likely to limit Clarke's playing time for the foreseeable future. The question is whether he can play enough while Zach Edey (ankle) is out to become a viable option in deep leagues. Based on the playing time and production, Clarke isn't there yet, but that could change in time.
Jaren Jackson
Jaren Jackson Jr. records 28/12/3/13 line vs. MIN
Wed, Dec 17, 2025, 5:04 PM
Jaren Jackson Jr. finished Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves with 28 points (10-of-18 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal, three blocks and two three-pointers.
Analysis: After he went off for 31 points in Monday's win over the Clippers, there were likely a lot of fantasy managers interested in seeing what Jackson would do for an encore. With Ja Morant (ankle) back on the sidelines, Trip recorded a complete stat line that included his first double-double of the season. Over the past two weeks, Jackson has been a fourth-round player in eight-cat formats. After these last two games, Jackson's “buy low” window has likely closed.
Brandon Clarke
MEM starts Coward, Wells, Jackson, Aldama, Clarke
Wed, Dec 17, 2025, 1:50 PM
NBA Lineups
Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Jaren Jackson Jr., Santi Aldama and Brandon Clarke will start Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: The Grizzlies won't have Ja Morant (ankle) for Wednesday's game, and they've decided to go with a bigger lineup. Clarke will start in his first appearance of the season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in late September. Vince Williams Jr., who was a starter when Morant missed time with a strained calf, will come off the bench, which limits his fantasy ceiling.
