Cameron Johnson
DEN starts Murray, Strawther, Braun, Cam, Joki?
Sat, Feb 7, 2026, 1:38 PM
NBA Lineups
Jamal Murray, Julian Strawther, Christian Braun, Cameron Johnson and Nikola Joki? will start Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Johnson is back in the lineup for the first time since December 23, and the decision to start him means that Spencer Jones will come off the bench. While his minutes will be restricted, Chicago's defensive struggles could benefit Johnson. The other change to the lineup is Strawther, who steps in for the injured Peyton Watson.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun (ankle) upgraded to available
Sat, Feb 7, 2026, 1:08 PM
NBA Injury Report
Christian Braun (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Braun was initially probable for Saturday's game, so the status upgrade was expected. He'll take on his usual role within the Nuggets' starting lineup. While Braun's production has not been what fantasy managers hoped for, his ceiling may be raised due to Peyton Watson's absence.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? (ankle) upgraded to available
Sat, Feb 7, 2026, 1:04 PM
NBA Injury Report
Nikola Joki? (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Joki? is good to go after appearing to tweak his left ankle during Wednesday's loss to the Knicks. He'll take on his usual role as the Nuggets' offensive focal point, and while there may be a minutes restriction, the three-time MVP has blown past his limit in the last two games.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (knee) available Saturday vs. CHI
Sat, Feb 7, 2026, 1:03 PM
Cameron Johnson (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Johnson has been sidelined with a knee injury since December 23. The 29-year-old small forward is usable in fantasy if he returns to the starting lineup, but if he's coming off the bench a wait-and-see approach might make more sense for fantasy managers.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? (ankle) questionable Saturday vs. CHI
Fri, Feb 6, 2026, 12:05 PM
NBA Injury Report
Nikola Joki? (ankle) is questionable to play against the Bulls on Saturday.
Analysis: Joki?'s injury came in the opening quarter of Wednesday's game against the Knicks, when he appeared to tweak his ankle. He returned to the game and scored a triple-double in the loss, but it is now uncertain to take the floor against the Bulls. He's one of the most productive players in NBA history; his fantasy value will be hard to replace if unable to suit up on Saturday.

Cameron Johnson (knee) questionable vs. Bulls
Fri, Feb 6, 2026, 11:57 AM
NBA Injury Report
Cameron Johnson (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Johnson's upgrade to questionable signals a return to the floor is not far away. The first-year Nuggets forward was injured on December 23 against the Mavericks and has not played in any of Denver's 23 games since. He's had an up-and-down season, but he was playing better before the latest injury. Should Johnson return, it'll likely be to the starting lineup, where he'll have a chance to pick up where he left off.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun (ankle) probable vs. Chicago
Fri, Feb 6, 2026, 11:42 AM
NBA Injury Report
Christian Braun (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Braun returned from injury on February 3 against the Pistons, before taking the floor a second time the next day against the Knicks. Even on the second game of a back-to-back after a long injury layoff, Braun logged 43 minutes in the overtime loss, indicating that his health may not hold him back much going forward. His status ahead of Saturday's game in Chicago suggests he'll be available to help the Nuggets try to end a three-game skid.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson (hamstring) out at least four weeks
Fri, Feb 6, 2026, 7:42 AM
NBA Injury Report
NBA Insider Chris B. Haynes reports that Peyton Watson (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Analysis: The Nuggets can't catch a break this season, as another key player will miss extended time. Watson sustained a right hamstring strain, and he won't return until the first week of March at the earliest. Spencer Jones (head), Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway Jr. could all be in line for extended run until Watson returns.

Peyton Watson (hamstring) to miss extended time
Thu, Feb 5, 2026, 1:58 PM
Tony Jones
Peyton Watson (hamstring) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain and is expected to be out for an extended period.
Analysis: Watson, who has provided the Nuggets with excellent contributions as the team navigated multiple injuries, pulled up during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's double-overtime loss to the Knicks. With Spencer Jones having exited earlier in the game with a head injury, the Nuggets relied more on Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway Jr. in Watson's absence. One may move into the starting lineup, but both will have streaming value in deeper leagues.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? records 30/14/10 line vs. New York
Wed, Feb 4, 2026, 4:26 PM
Nikola Joki? accounted for 30 points (10-of-27 FGs, 9-of-12 FTs), 14 rebounds, 10 assists and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Joki? was supposedly still under a minutes restriction on Wednesday. Due to the combination of the game requiring two overtimes and Jonas Valan?i?nas (two points, three rebounds and two assists) struggling with foul trouble, the three-time MVP's restriction appeared to be nothing more than a suggestion. Joki? played 44 of a possible 58 minutes, recording his 17th triple-double of the season. There was an injury scare during the first quarter when The Joker hit the floor with a left leg injury, but he was able to return. The lone issue for him was three-point shooting, with Joki? going 1-of-13 from beyond the arc.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray drops team-high 39 points vs. NYK
Wed, Feb 4, 2026, 4:26 PM
Jamal Murray finished Wednesday's loss to the Knicks with 39 points (15-of-33 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Murray came out hot on Wednesday, scoring 20 of the Nuggets' 30 first-quarter points. He struggled from beyond the arc, making only three of 14 attempts, which negatively affected the overall field-goal percentage. However, he's recorded back-to-back 30-point games, and the 39 scored in Wednesday's double-overtime defeat were the most in a game for Murray since January 17. The Nuggets play once more in Week 16, Saturday night in Chicago.

Katy Winge
Peyton Watson (hamstring) injured his right hamstring during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Knicks and did not return.
Analysis: Watson played 33 minutes before having to leave Wednesday's game, giving a foul to stop play before immediately limping back to the locker room. He finished with 10 points (4-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer. The Nuggets relied on Bruce Brown (10 points, five rebounds, three steals, one block and two three-pointers) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (19 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and four three-pointers) down the stretch, and that will be the case if Watson has to miss multiple games. Watson will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun (ankle) available vs. New York
Wed, Feb 4, 2026, 12:02 PM
NBA Injury Report
Christian Braun (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.
Analysis: Braun is good to go after initially being listed as probable. He played 26 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Pistons, and the workload should be similar against the Knicks.

Christian Braun (ankle) probable vs. New York
Wed, Feb 4, 2026, 7:20 AM
NBA Injury Report
Christian Braun (ankle) is probable to play against the Knicks on Wednesday.
Analysis: Braun made his return to the lineup against Detroit on Tuesday and immediately slotted in as a starter. He's expected to be available once again, and he should see a similar workload after playing an unproductive 26 minutes against the Pistons.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? has 24/15/4/2/1 line in loss Tuesday
Tue, Feb 3, 2026, 4:20 PM
Nikola Joki? had 24 points (9-of-10 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 15 rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Tuesday's loss to the Pistons.
Analysis: Minutes-wise, Joki? has progressed from 25 to 29 to 33 in his first three games since returning from a knee injury that cost him a month of the season. The 30-year-old center was excellent as usual Tuesday despite falling to the top team in the Eastern Conference on the road. The question now will be if Joki? will play and potentially how much will he play on the second night of a back-to-back Wednesday against the Knicks on the road.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray has 32 points, eight assists in loss
Tue, Feb 3, 2026, 4:12 PM
Jamal Murray had 32 points (8-of-17 FGs, 12-of-13), one rebound, eight assists, two blocks and four three-pointers in Tuesday's 124-121 loss to the Pistons.
Analysis: Murray had his 14th game this season with at least 30 points in Tuesday's loss to the Pistons. The 28-year-old guard got to the free throw line multiple times in the final minute of regulation, doing enough to keep the Nuggets within one possession before finally missing one crucial free throw and finishing 12-of-13 from the line. Murray has provided first-round value this year. The Nuggets will be back on the floor Wednesday for the second game of the back-to-back against the Knicks on the road.
Christian Braun
DEN starts Murray, Pickett, Braun, Watson, Joki?
Tue, Feb 3, 2026, 12:44 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray, Jalen Pickett, Christian Braun, Peyton Watson and Nikola Joki? will start Tuesday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: Braun is in the starting lineup after missing Denver's prior 12 games with a left ankle injury. He'll step in for Spencer Jones, who is inactive to conserve a game on his 50-game limit as a two-way contract player. Those who are rostering Jones need to put him on the bench before tipoff. The other four starters are unchanged.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun (ankle) upgraded to available
Tue, Feb 3, 2026, 11:46 AM
Katy Winge
Christian Braun (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.
Analysis: After missing Denver's last 12 games, Braun is good to go for Tuesday's matchup with the Pistons. It's unknown how much he'll play, and whether Braun will start or come off the bench. If he's moved into the starting lineup immediately, Jalen Pickett would head to the bench.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun (ankle) questionable vs. Detroit
Mon, Feb 2, 2026, 11:05 AM
NBA Injury Report
Christian Braun (ankle) is questionable to play against the Pistons on Tuesday.
Analysis: Braun has missed the last 12 games for Denver, but there is a chance he returns against Detroit. Jalen Pickett has been the starter recently and should remain in that role until Braun is back. Braun has struggled this season, but he has started in every game that he's played.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson scores team-high 29 points vs. OKC
Sun, Feb 1, 2026, 6:04 PM
Peyton Watson finished Sunday's loss to the Thunder with 29 points (11-of-17 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Watson did his best to pick up the slack offensively for the Nuggets, with his 29 points being one more than Nikola Joki? (16) and Jamal Murray (12) combined. Since moving into the starting lineup in mid-November, Watson has been a top-100 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. And with Aaron Gordon and Cameron Johnson still out, he should remain a starter for the foreseeable future. Watson is rostered in 45 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which is too low, given his current role.
