Peyton Watson

Mon, Mar 16, 2026, 10:04 AM
Vinny Benedetto
Peyton Watson (hamstring) participated in 3-on-3 scrimmaging during Monday's practice.
Analysis: Watson has been out since straining his hamstring during a February 4 loss to the Knicks. After Monday's 3-on-3 session, there is hope that he'll be available to play sometime this week. While games on Tuesday and Wednesday may not be in the cards for Watson, he may be available toward the end of Week 21. His return will affect the playing time of Spencer Jones and Julian Strawther, neither of whom has done enough to remain on the radar in most fantasy leagues.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson tallies 18 points, four triples
Sat, Mar 14, 2026, 5:48 PM
Cameron Johnson accumulated 18 points (6-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Lakers.
Analysis: Johnson, who has struggled for most of his first season in Denver, appears to be turning things around. He's scored at least 15 points in three straight games, with the 18 points in Friday's overtime loss being the most in a game for Johnson since hitting that number in a February 19 loss to the Clippers. For fantasy managers, now would be a great time for Johnson to provide consistent production, especially with the playoffs in Yahoo! default leagues beginning in Week 21.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon hits five three-pointers, scores 27
Sat, Mar 14, 2026, 5:47 PM
Aaron Gordon amassed 27 points (9-of-16 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals and five three-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Lakers.
Analysis: Gordon shot 5-of-10 from beyond the arc on Saturday, coming through with much-needed production on a night when Jamal Murray (5/6/2 with one three-pointer) shot 1-of-14 from the field before fouling out. This was his second game of the season with at least five three-pointers, the first being Gordon's 10 three-pointer explosion against the Warriors on October 23. The Nuggets play four games in Week 21, starting with the shorthanded 76ers on Tuesday.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? records 24/16/14/5/1 line vs. Lakers
Sat, Mar 14, 2026, 5:47 PM
Nikola Joki? finished Saturday's loss to the Lakers with 24 points (10-of-19 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 16 rebounds, 14 assists, five steals, one block and two three-pointers.
Analysis: Joki? recorded his 27th triple-double of the season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough to get the Nuggets the overtime victory in Los Angeles. To no one's surprise, the three-time MVP remains the top-ranked player in fantasy basketball, regardless of league format. And for those whose leagues start playoffs in Week 21, they'll be pleased to see Joki? and the Nuggets scheduled to play four games.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon upgraded to available
Sat, Mar 14, 2026, 1:45 PM
Denver Nuggets
Jamal Murray (ankle) and Aaron Gordon (hamstring) are available for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Murray and Gordon were initially probable for Saturday's game, so the status upgrades were expected. They'll take on their usual roles in the Nuggets' starting lineup.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson (hamstring) to remain out vs. Lakers
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 2:02 PM
NBA Injury Report
Peyton Watson (hamstring) is out for Saturday's game against the Warriors.
Analysis: Watson is out for Saturday's game, but he could return to action at some point next week. His eventual return likely affects Julian Strawther and Spencer Jones more than anyone else, as those two have seen their opportunities increase since Watson strained his hamstring in early February.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon probable vs. Lakers
Fri, Mar 13, 2026, 1:58 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (ankle) and Aaron Gordon (hamstring) are probable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Analysis: Murray and Gordon are back on the injury report, but both players are listed as probable, so they should be able to play. Gordon did not play in Thursday's win over the Spurs, with Spencer Jones replacing him in the starting lineup. Fantasy managers should plan for Gordon and Murray to take on their usual responsibilities, which would push Jones to the bench.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray takes over late, finishes with 39
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 6:01 PM
Jamal Murray tallied 39 points (11-of-21 FGs, 15-of-15 FTs), two rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Thursday's win over the Spurs.
Analysis: The “Blue Arrow” was at his best when the Nuggets needed him most, scoring 16 points in the third quarter on 6-of-8 shooting from the field. Murray was efficient throughout the night, making over half of his shot attempts and going a perfect 15-of-15 from the foul line. For the first time in just over a month, the Nuggets guard has scored at least 30 points in consecutive games. Murray will look to make it three straight when the Nuggets visit the Lakers on Saturday.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? records 31/20/12/3/2 line vs. SAS
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 6:01 PM
Denver Nuggets
Nikola Joki? finished Thursday's win over the Spurs with 31 points (9-of-17 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs), 20 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, two blocks and two three-pointers.
Analysis: Despite appearing a bit fatigued to begin Thursday's game, which was their second in as many nights, the Nuggets rallied in the second half to pick up one of their best wins of the season. Joki? recorded another elite stat line, posting his 26th triple-double of the season. Also, this was the 10th triple-double of his career in which the three-time MVP accounted for at least 30 points and 20 rebounds. The Nuggets play once more in Week 20, Saturday night against the Lakers.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) downgraded to out vs. SAS
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 2:09 PM
Vinny Benedetto
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is out for Thursday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Despite being limited to 22 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Rockets, Gordon will not play on Thursday. While Cameron Johnson and Tim Hardaway Jr. should see their usage numbers increase, Spencer Jones may be inserted into the starting lineup.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) questionable for Thursday
Thu, Mar 12, 2026, 8:49 AM
Aaron Gordon (hamstring injury management) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Spurs.
Analysis: Gordon played just 22 minutes in last night's blowout win over the Rockets but scored zero points and grabbed four rebounds. It now seems that Denver is thinking about having him sit out the second leg of their back-to-back, which could mean more usage and minutes for Cameron Johnson and Tim Hardaway Jr.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson chips in with 17 points vs. HOU
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 6:27 PM
Cameron Johnson tallied 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Rockets.
Analysis: Having struggled for most of the season, Johnson's line on Wednesday was in line with what many fantasy managers hoped to get from him consistently. He shot 3-of-3-of-5 from beyond the arc, while recording a complete stat line. The Nuggets play two more games in Week 20, starting with the Spurs on Thursday, and they'll need Wednesday's version of Johnson consistently if they're to make a deep playoff run.
Christian Braun
Christian Braun sinks three triples, scores 19
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 6:27 PM
Christian Braun accumulated 19 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Rockets.
Analysis: After totaling 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting in his prior two appearances, Braun needed a night like Wednesday. The 19 points were the most he's had in a game since February 27, when the Nuggets' wing dropped 23 in a loss to the Thunder. Since the All-Star break, Braun sits just inside the top-150 in category league value. His status as a starter makes him a player worth holding onto, but the chances of Braun being a difference-maker during the playoff weeks are slim.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? posts 16/12/13/5/1 line vs. Houston
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 6:26 PM
Denver Nuggets
Nikola Joki? recorded 16 points (6-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, five steals and one blocked shot in Wednesday's win over the Rockets.
Analysis: Obviously, Joki? has recorded far more robust stat lines than the one he produced in Wednesday's 36-point victory. However, the three-time MVP had his triple-double by the end of the third quarter, the 83rd time in his career that The Joker has accomplished this feat. The Nuggets play two more games in Week 20, starting with the Spurs on Thursday, so getting a little extra rest was a good deal for Joki?.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray torches Rockets for game-high 30
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 6:26 PM
Jamal Murray amassed 30 points (11-of-21 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Rockets.
Analysis: Murray and the Nuggets rolled to a 129-93 victory, pulling away thanks to a dominant third quarter. While Murray wasn't too involved in the 40-point period, scoring four points, he shouldered most of the scoring workload in the first half. The 30 points were the second-most he's scored in a game this month, trailing only his 45-point effort against the Jazz on March 2.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson (hamstring) could return next week
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 3:32 PM
Vinny Benedetto
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said Wednesday that Peyton Watson (hamstring) could return sometime next week.
Analysis: Watson, who has not appeared in a game since February 4, is closing in on a return to action. However, his only live action has come against the Nuggets' coaching staff and Aaron Gordon when the forward was ramping up for his return from a strained hamstring. The question for Watson is whether he'll be able to play the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball in time for the fantasy playoff weeks.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray, Cameron Johnson available vs. HOU
Wed, Mar 11, 2026, 3:20 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (ankle) and Cameron Johnson (back) are available for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Analysis: Murray and Johnson were initially probable for Wednesday's game. They'll take on their usual roles in the Nuggets' starting lineup, with the latter looking to get untracked after struggling recently.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (back) probable vs. Houston
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 12:07 PM
NBA Injury Report
Cameron Johnson (back) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Analysis: While Johnson is dealing with back spasms, the probable tag suggests that he's on track to play Wednesday night. If he's unable to go, Julian Strawther is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (ankle) probable vs. Houston
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 12:04 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (ankle) is probable to play against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Analysis: Murray injured his ankle on Friday but played through it on Monday, scoring 21 points in 37 minutes. He should play his usual workload against Houston on Wednesday, though if something changes, Jalen Pickett should step into a starting role.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson (hamstring) to remain out vs. HOU
Tue, Mar 10, 2026, 12:04 PM
NBA Injury Report
Peyton Watson (hamstring) is out for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Analysis: Watson, who has been out since straining his hamstring during a February 4 loss to the Knicks, remains out for at least one more game. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown have picked up additional minutes recently, especially as Cameron Johnson continues to struggle.
