Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon posts 10 points, 11 assists vs. WAS
Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 5:50 PM
Aaron Gordon recorded eight points (3-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Saturday's win over the Wizards.
Analysis: While Gordon didn't do much scoring on Saturday, the rebounding and facilitating boosted his final stat line. The Nuggets forward recorded his third double-double of the season and first since returning from the hamstring injury that sidelined him for six weeks. While Gordon is ranked outside the top-150 over the past two weeks, it's fair to expect that the production will continue to improve as he gets further removed from the hamstring injury.
Tim Hardaway
Tim Hardaway Jr. hits five triples, scores 30
Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 5:49 PM
Tim Hardaway Jr. accounted for 30 points (10-of-18 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), two rebounds and five three-pointers in Saturday's win over the Wizards.
Analysis: Three games removed from scoring 25 points in a win over the Bucks, Hardaway had his most productive outing since joining the Nuggets last offseason. Shooting 5-of-11 from beyond the arc, he recorded his first 30-point game of the season. Unfortunately, Hardaway didn't provide much beyond points, three-pointers and percentages, but that's to be expected, given his fantasy profile. No Nikola Joki? in the rotation does give Hardaway a slightly higher fantasy ceiling, but not to where he becomes a must-roster player in standard leagues.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson contributes 21 points vs. WAS
Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 5:48 PM
Peyton Watson recorded 21 points (8-of-14 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday's win over the Wizards.
Analysis: Watson continues to offer excellent fantasy value as one of the players helping compensate for Nikola Joki? being out with a knee injury. Over the past three weeks, he has been a sixth-round player in eight-cat formats. Since Joki?'s injury, Watson has scored at least 20 points in eight of ten games, and that includes two 30-point performances. Managers in 12-team leagues should add Watson if he's sitting on the waiver wire.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray goes off for game-high 42 points
Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 5:47 PM
Jamal Murray finished Saturday's win over the Wizards with 42 points (15-of-24 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Despite the Wizards boasting one of the NBA's worst records, Saturday's game proved to be more challenging for the Nuggets than many anticipated. Murray made five of his six field-goal attempts during the fourth quarter to help Denver complete its rally. Saturday's game was the third in which Murray has scored at least 40 points, with the 42 being the most in a game for him since he dropped 52 on the Pacers in early December. Denver plays four games in Week 14, starting with the Lakers on Tuesday.
Bruce Brown

Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 2:19 PM
Denver Nuggets
Bruce Brown (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Brown will take on his usual role coming off the Nuggets' bench. Unfortunately, he hasn't been as impactful in fantasy basketball during his second stint with the franchise as he was in his first.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) available Saturday
Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 2:16 PM
Denver Nuggets
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is available for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Gordon is good to go after initially being listed as probable for Saturday's game. His minutes may still be managed to a certain extent, but Gordon should play enough to offer reliable fantasy value.
Jamal Murray

Sat, Jan 17, 2026, 2:14 PM
Denver Nuggets
Jamal Murray (ankle, illness) is available for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Murray was initially probable for Saturday's game, so the status upgrade was expected. Given the matchup, this could be a big night for managers who have the Nuggets' guard on their rosters.
Bruce Brown
Bruce Brown (knee) probable vs. Washington
Fri, Jan 16, 2026, 12:08 PM
NBA Injury Report
Bruce Brown (knee) is probable to play against the Wizards on Saturday.
Analysis: Brown is expected to remain available despite a lingering knee issue. He should continue to play his typical role off the bench, which hasn't result in much fantasy production from him.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) probable Saturday
Fri, Jan 16, 2026, 12:04 PM
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is probable for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Analysis: Gordon doesn't appear to be in serious jeopardy of missing Saturday's game against the Wizards. The 30-year-old power forward is listed as probable with a hamstring injury. With Nikola Jokic and Christian Braun sidelined, the Nuggets will need Gordon in this one.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (ankle, illness) probable vs. WAS
Fri, Jan 16, 2026, 12:03 PM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (ankle, illness) is probable to play against the Wizards on Saturday.
Analysis: Murray is still managing ailments, but it isn't expected to impact his availability. He just scored 68 points in 24 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday and should have no issues remaining productive this weekend.
Christian Braun
Braun (ankle) limited to non-contact drills Friday
Fri, Jan 16, 2026, 9:18 AM
Vinny Benedetto
Christian Braun (ankle) was limited to non-contact work during Friday's practice.
Analysis: After missing 23 games with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain, Braun played three games before heading back to the sidelines. He's missed the last three games, and it's likely going to be a little while before he's back on the court. During Friday's practice, Braun was limited to non-contact work. Following the session, Nuggets head coach David Adelman said the team will be patient with Braun's return. The absence of Braun and Cameron Johnson (knee) is all the more reason to add Peyton Watson if he's available.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson scores 18 points in win over Mavs
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 6:32 PM
Peyton Watson added 18 points (6-of-12 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Analysis: Watson followed up his 31-point outburst on Tuesday with another strong scoring performance on the second game of a back-to-back. The versatile forward was limited to only 30 minutes on the evening, but still produced enough on the offensive end to finish as the Nuggets' third-leading scorer. His pair of three-pointers on efficient shooting added to his fantasy basketball production, as well. Watson has enjoyed a nice stretch over the past few weeks and continues to have his best season as a professional.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon posts 22/6/3 line in win over Dallas
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 6:29 PM
Aaron Gordon amassed 22 points (8-of-12 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one block and three three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Analysis: Gordon provided fantasy managers with decent production on Wednesday, surpassing the 20-point mark on the evening while draining a trio of three-pointers. The veteran forward played only 29 minutes in the win but still finished as Denver's second-leading scorer. Surely he is capable of greater performances, but Wednesday's final line should serve as a nice floor on nights when the high production isn't required.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray goes for 33 points in win over Dallas
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 6:27 PM
Jamal Murray notched 33 points (13-of-24 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers in the win over the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Analysis: On the second game of a back-to-back, Murray followed his 35-point performance with another 30-point outing. He shot efficiently overall from the floor before finishing with a game-high in points, and also stepped up as a facilitator to lead the Nuggets in assists. Murray has very quietly enjoyed a strong start to the calendar year, tallying at least 22 points and five assists in each of the five games he's appeared in. He's been a major reason why the Nuggets have remained successful in Nikola Jokic's absence.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (ankle) available Wednesday vs. DAL
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 2:36 PM
Denver Nuggets
Jamal Murray (ankle) is available to play against the Mavericks on Wednesday.
Analysis: The Nuggets will have their star point guard on Wednesday when they look to win their third straight game. Murray's availability comes on the second game of a back-to-back, after scoring 35 points and dishing out nine assists against the Pelicans. He'll have a chance to log another strong performance against the Mavericks.
Bruce Brown
Bruce Brown (knee) available Wednesday vs. Dallas
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 2:35 PM
NBA Injury Report
Bruce Brown (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
Analysis: Brown is good to go after initially being questionable. There should be additional minutes available since Christian Braun is out, but Jamal Murray's availability mutes Brown's potential impact.
Nikola Jokic
Shams: Joki? (knee) resumes on-court workouts
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 10:25 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Nikola Joki? (knee) has resumed on-court workouts.
Analysis: Just over a week after the Nuggets' center had reportedly begun to do some spot shooting, he's now progressed to on-court workouts. According to Charania, Joki? is still on track for a late-January return to action, if not slightly ahead of schedule. For Tuesday's win over the Pelicans, Aaron Gordon served as the small-ball five, with Zeke Nnaji playing 22 minutes off the bench. Shallow-league managers can consider adding Gordon, since he's played 30 minutes or more in consecutive games for the first time since returning from his hamstring injury.
Bruce Brown
Bruce Brown (knee) questionable vs. Mavericks
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 9:50 AM
NBA Injury Report
Bruce Brown (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup with Dallas.
Analysis: With Jamal Murray questionable and Christian Braun out, Brown's potential absence could leave Denver shorthanded in the backcourt. Julian Strawther and Spencer Jones could see bumps in playing time if Brown is ultimately ruled out.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray (ankle) questionable Wednesday
Wed, Jan 14, 2026, 9:47 AM
NBA Injury Report
Jamal Murray (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Mavericks.
Analysis: Murray's late addition to the injury report doesn't bode well for his availability against Dallas. If Murray is unable to take the court, Jalen Pickett could replace him in the starting five. In that case, Pickett could be a useful streamer for fantasy managers.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson pours in 30/7/5/2/1 line vs. Pels
Tue, Jan 13, 2026, 5:23 PM
Peyton Watson lit up the Pelicans with 31 points (11-of-16 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer on Tuesday.
Analysis: Watson's unreal hot stretch continued in this game. His 19-point game on Sunday ended a six-game streak of at least 20 points, but he followed that up with outing, which was one point shy of matching his season high for points. However, this outing was incredibly efficient, and he was able to contribute value across the board in category leagues. At 23 years old, Watson has vaulted his value in dynasty leagues over the past month and should be considered a must-roster player in redraft formats.
