Julian Strawther
Julian Strawther (back) out Wednesday vs. NOR
Tue, Nov 18, 2025, 12:45 PM
NBA Injury Report
Julian Strawther (back) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Analysis: Strawther's continued absence does not impact fantasy basketball, especially with Cameron Johnson being available. While there may be a few minutes available to Strawther when he returns due to Christian Braun's ankle injury, that isn't enough to make him a player worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson hits five triples, scores 19
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 5:56 PM
Cameron Johnson shot 6-of-12 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Monday's loss to the Bulls, scoring 19 points with four rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers.
Analysis: Having entered Monday shooting 37.2 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from three, Johnson needed a good night in the worst way. Against the Bulls, he shot 5-of-7 from beyond the arc and finished with season-highs in points and three-pointers. This was the first game in which Johnson made at least three three-pointers in a game, and his previous high point total was 15. One game does not make Johnson a player worth rostering in 12-team leagues again, but it's a step in the right direction.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon drops 24/10 double-double on Chicago
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 5:56 PM
Aaron Gordon finished Monday's loss to the Bulls with 24 points (10-of-18 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds and one three-pointer.
Analysis: One game removed from recording his first double-double of the season, Gordon notched a second on Monday. The negative for fantasy managers is that he did not record any assists, steals or blocked shots, the first time Gordon's tossed up a bagel in all three categories in the same game this season. Thanks to excellent production in points, rebounds and three-pointers with high percentages, AG is providing top-50 value in nine-cat formats. However, the margin for error is slim due to the lackluster assists and defensive stats.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray records 34/11/4/1 line vs. Chicago
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 5:55 PM
Jamal Murray dropped 34 points (12-of-22 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal and five three-pointers in Monday's loss to the Bulls.
Analysis: For the first time this season, Murray recorded a points/rebounds double-double, with the other two being of the points/assists variety. The 34 points were the most the Nuggets guard has scored in a game since an October 27 win over the Timberwolves in which he tallied 43. Murray continues to exceed his Yahoo! ADP, ranking within the top-25 in nine-cat formats. It would be unsurprising if he had another big game on Wednesday when the Nuggets visit the reeling Pelicans.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? posts 36/18/13/1/2 line vs. Chicago
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 5:45 PM
Nikola Joki? recorded 36 points (13-of-27 FGs, 9-of-12 FTs), 18 rebounds, 13 assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Monday's loss to the Bulls.
Analysis: Joki? had a chance to send Monday's game to overtime, but his long three-point attempt fell short of the rim as time expired. However, fantasy managers aren't concerned about the game's outcome. Joki? recorded his second straight triple-double and eighth of the season. Whether it's eight- or nine-cat formats, the Nuggets center remains the most valuable player in fantasy basketball. And with the Nuggets visiting New Orleans on Wednesday, Joki? could be in for another huge stat line.
Julian Strawther
Julian Strawther (back) ruled out Monday vs. CHI
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 2:14 PM
Denver Nuggets
Julian Strawther (back) is out for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Initially questionable for Monday's game, Strawther is officially out. However, his absence coincides with Cameron Johnson's return, so the Nuggets will have the options needed to account for Strawther not playing. He does not impact fantasy basketball when healthy.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (biceps) available Monday vs. CHI
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 2:10 PM
Denver Nuggets
Cameron Johnson (biceps) is available for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Johnson is back after a one-game absence, and he will be in the starting lineup. Tim Hardaway Jr. will head to the bench, where he offers a lower fantasy ceiling. Johnson has struggled to begin his time in Denver and is no longer a must-roster player in 12-team leagues.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? (wrist) to play Monday vs. Bulls
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 2:06 PM
Nikola Joki? (wrist) is available for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: No surprise here as Joki? is once again good to go despite dealing with a wrist injury. The 30-year-old center is coming off a triple-double in Saturday's win over the Timberwolves. Joki? has a great matchup Monday against the Bulls, which is the second game of a back-to-back for Chicago.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson to start Monday vs. Chicago
Mon, Nov 17, 2025, 1:22 PM
Bennett Durando
Peyton Watson will start Monday's game against the Bulls in place of the injured Christian Braun.
Analysis: Watson, who started Saturday's win over the Timberwolves, will remain in the starting lineup despite Cameron Johnson (biceps) being on track to return after a one-game absence. Watson will fill the void left by Christian Braun, who will miss at least six weeks after spraining his left ankle last week. Tim Hardaway Jr. will come off the bench after starting against Minnesota.
Julian Strawther
Julian Strawther (back) questionable Monday
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 12:59 PM
NBA Injury Report
Julian Strawther (back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Strawther has appeared on the Nuggets' injury report on multiple occasions due to lower back pain, with this being the most recent instance. Even with Christian Braun (ankle) out for 6-8 weeks, Strawther is unlikely to get the minutes needed to achieve fantasy relevance if he's cleared to play.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (biceps) questionable Monday
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 12:53 PM
NBA Injury Report
Cameron Johnson (biceps) is questionable for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Johnson, who has struggled when available, did not play in Saturday's win over the Timberwolves. Peyton Watson received the starting nod and was productive; he may hold onto the job even if Johnson is deemed healthy enough to play. Given his struggles, Johnson is droppable in 12-team leagues.
Nikola Jokic
Nikola Joki? (wrist) probable Monday vs. Chicago
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 12:50 PM
NBA Injury Report
Nikola Joki? (wrist) is probable for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Analysis: Joki? was questionable for Saturday's win over the Timberwolves, and all he did was record a triple-double as part of a complete stat line. The probable tag suggests he'll be good to go for Monday. Look for Joki? to be on the court Monday night in what will be the second game in as many nights for the visiting Bulls.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray tallies 23/6/12/1 line vs. Minnesota
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 1:32 AM
Jamal Murray recorded a double-double on Saturday with 23 points (9-of-22 FGs), six rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: Murray able to record his second double-double of the season and surpass 20 points for the seventh time this year despite a slow start to the night. He has cooled off after a hot start to the season, but Murray has still been a consistent source of offense for him all year. He set a new season-high for assists in what was Denver's seventh straight win. With a four-game week coming up, expect more strong nights on offense from Murray.
Aaron Gordon
Aaron Gordon pours in 23/10/1/2/2 line vs. Wolves
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 1:26 AM
Aaron Gordon lit up the Timberwolves with 23 points (8-of-15 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and four three-pointers on Saturday.
Analysis: Gordon has come back down to Earth since his 50-point outburst to open the season, but this ended up being one of his better offensive performances. It was also his first double-double of the year. Gordon has continued to develop his game every season, and his leap as a shooter has allowed him to average a career-high 2.5 three-pointers per game and shoot 88.9 percent from the free throw line thus far. Just two years ago, he hit 0.5 triples per game and shot 65.8 percent from the line.
Peyton Watson
Peyton Watson scores 12 points, adds three stocks
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 1:22 AM
Peyton Watson started on Saturday and finished with 12 points (5-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, two steals and one block against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: With Cameron Johnson (ankle) sidelined, Watson was able to join the starting lineup. Watson's streaming appeal comes from his defensive ability, and he was able to provide a taste of that in this game. Johnson's return timeline isn't clear, but as long as he's out, Watson should be in the starting lineup, which gives him some value as a streamer.
Tim Hardaway
THJ scores 23 points with five triples as starter
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 1:20 AM
Tim Hardaway Jr. started on Saturday and contributed 23 points (6-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one block and five three-pointers against the Timberwolves.
Analysis: With Christian Braun (ankle) set to miss at least six weeks, THJ was able to slide into the starting lineup and take advantage of the larger opportunity. He has been a streaky shooter throughout his career, and his shot was falling in this one. He should remain a starter, and with Nikola Joki? feeding him open looks, THJ should have no problem getting plenty of shots from deep. When they're going in, he's a valuable streaming option.
Nikola Jokic
Joki? posts 27/12/11 triple-double vs. Wolves
Sun, Nov 16, 2025, 1:16 AM
Nikola Joki? recorded a triple-double on Saturday with 27 points (8-of-15 FGs), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in a 123-112 win over the Timberwolves.
Analysis: For the seventh time this season, Joki? was able to finish with a triple-double. He continues to be the best player in fantasy basketball every single night and finds new ways to impact the game. He wasn't able to match his 55-point night from Denver's last game, but this was the seventh straight game he scored at least 25 points. Regardless of his matchup, Joki? should continue to dominate every single night.
Nikola Jokic
Joki? (wrist) upgraded to available vs. Minnesota
Sat, Nov 15, 2025, 1:15 PM
Denver Nuggets
Nikola Joki? (wrist) is available to play against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Analysis: Joki? was initially listed as questionable, but he'll be good to go in this one. The injury is to his non-dominant wrist, so it shouldn't be a factor in this game. Joki? had 55 points in his last outing and will look to provide an encore in this one.
Cameron Johnson
Cameron Johnson (biceps) remains out vs. Wolves
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 12:55 PM
NBA Injury Report
Cameron Johnson (biceps) has been ruled out against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Analysis: Johnson exited early from Denver's last game and will remain sidelined on Saturday. Peyton Watson should slide into the starting lineup in his place, though there should be extra minutes for Bruce Brown as well with Christian Braun (ankle) set to miss at least six weeks.
Nikola Jokic
Joki? (wrist) questionable vs. Minnesota
Fri, Nov 14, 2025, 12:47 PM
NBA Injury Report
Nikola Joki? (wrist) is questionable to play against the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Analysis: Joki? has been on an absolute tear recently, having scored 90 points over his last two games. This is an injury to his non-dominant wrist, but if he ends up missing this game, Jonas Valanciunas should start, with Zeke Nnaji filling out the reserve minutes.
