Bryan Woo
Bryan Woo Stumbles vs. Pirates
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 8:27 PM
Woo (6-6) took the loss Wednesday against the Pirates, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks over four innings. He stuck out four.
Analysis: After holding Pittsburgh hitless through three innings, Woo unraveled in the fourth, where he'd give up four runs on six hits, including two doubles and a triple. It's been a streaky year overall for Woo -- the right-hander has held opponents scoreless across seven innings in two of his last five starts, though he's given up 17 runs over 15.1 innings in his other three outings in that span. Woo's ERA now sits at 4.26 through 16 starts (93 innings) this season with a 1.04 WHIP and 92:18 K:BB. He'll look to rebound his next time out, tentatively slated to come next week at home against the Angels.
Victor Robles
Victor Robles Playing time likely to take hit
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 3:33 PM
Robles is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.
Analysis: He had started in eight of Seattle's last nine games, but Robles' run of regular playing time looks to have come to an end. Robles benefited from Randy Arozarena (hamstring), Julio Rodriguez (hamstring), Luke Raley (illness) and Dominic Canzone (hamstring) all missing time of late, but the four players will all be included in the same lineup Wednesday for the first time since June 12. Moving forward, Robles will likely draw most of his starts versus left-handed pitching while filling the short side of a platoon with either Raley or Canzone.
Dominic Canzone
Dominic Canzone Checking back into starting nine
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 2:10 PM
Canzone (hamstring) will start at designated hitter and bat sixth Wednesday against the Pirates.
Analysis: He'll check back into the starting nine after a right hamstring injury kept him from playing in Tuesday's 3-2 win. The 29-year-old has been holding down a strong-side platoon role at DH for the Mariners this season and has torched right-handed pitching to the tune of a .288/.348/.581 slash line with 11 home runs in 178 plate appearances.
Cole Young
Cole Young Blasts go-ahead homer
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 8:48 AM
Young went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.
Analysis: The seventh-inning homer, Young's seventh of the year, proved to be the decisive blow in Seattle's one-run victory. After a hot start to the month, Young had cooled off at the plate coming into Tuesday's matchup -- he'd gone just 3-for-20 in his previous six games. Overall, the second baseman is slashing .253/.319/.372 with 34 runs scored, 37 RBI and two stolen bases across 321 plate appearances this season.
Cal Raleigh
Cal Raleigh Ends power drought Tuesday
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 8:43 AM
Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.
Analysis: Raleigh got Seattle on the board with his fourth-inning blast off Mitch Keller, his eighth homer this year and first since April 27. Prior to Tuesday, Raleigh had gone just 3-for-18 with no extra-base hits in six games since returning from a month-long stint on the IL. It's been a disappointing season overall for Raleigh after his breakout 2025 campaign -- he's now slashing .164/.258/.317 with 21 RBI and 18 runs scored over 209 plate appearances.
Andres Munoz
Andres Munoz Nails down 14th save
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 8:39 AM
Munoz struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 14th save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Pirates.
Analysis: The right-hander was at his dominant best, firing 12 of 16 pitches for strikes and popping triple digits on the radar gun with half his offerings, topping out at 102 mph. Munoz has been erratic this season, but he may be finding his form -- he's converted saves in four straight scoreless appearances while delivering a 7:2 K:BB in four innings.
George Kirby
George Kirby Back in win column Tuesday
Wed, Jun 24, 2026, 8:34 AM
Kirby (6-7) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on eight hits and two walks over six innings in a 3-2 victory over the Pirates. He struck out five.
Analysis: The right-hander produced his ninth quality start of the season on 91 pitches (65 strikes), but it took a Cole Young two-run homer in the top of the seventh inning to finally get Kirby back in the win column. He'd gone 0-5 over his prior six starts, stumbling to a 6.27 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 33:7 K:BB in 33 innings during the losing streak. With that monkey off his back, Kirby will look to build on Tuesday's performance in his next outing, which is set to come on the road this weekend in Cleveland.
Luke Raley
Luke Raley Back in action Tuesday
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 2:56 PM
Raley (illness) is starting in right field and batting sixth Tuesday against the Pirates.
Analysis: Raley is in the starting lineup for the first time since June 14, as he missed all three games versus Baltimore last week due to back tightness and the flu before the Red Sox started three straight left-handed pitchers over the weekend. The veteran outfielder has been productive this year with 14 homers, 35 RBI, 24 runs and an .801 OPS in 211 plate appearances, but he's racked up just 17 plate appearances versus southpaws and should continue operate as a strong-side platoon player in right field.
Dominic Canzone
Dominic Canzone Not starting Tuesday
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 2:51 PM
Canzone (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.
Analysis: Canzone will miss at least one start after departing Sunday's game against the Red Sox due to a hamstring injury. The severity of the injury isn't clear, but the 28-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available. Randy Arozarena (hamstring) is serving as the DH in his return from the injured list.
Connor Joe
Connor Joe Optioned to Tacoma
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 1:56 PM
The Mariners optioned Joe to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.
Analysis: The 33-year-old joined the big-league club in mid-June after Randy Arozarena (hamstring) landed on the injured list, and Joe will be demoted Tuesday with Arozarena rejoining the active roster. Across his two stints in the majors this season, Joe has a .179/.289/.308 slash line with a homer and two steals in 21 games.
Randy Arozarena
Randy Arozarena Activated from injured list
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 1:50 PM
The Mariners reinstated Arozarena (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
Analysis: The veteran outfielder has been sidelined due to a left hamstring strain but is ready to rejoin the Mariners after spending the 10-day minimum on the shelf. Arozarena had a hot start to June prior to the injury, posting a .300/.404/.425 slash line with two doubles, a homer, four steals, seven RBI, seven runs and a 5:8 BB:K through his first 11 games of the month.
Leo Rivas
Leo Rivas Hits shelf at Triple-A
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 11:39 AM
Triple-A Tacoma placed Rivas on the 7-day injured list Wednesday due to an unspecified injury.
Analysis: Since being demoted to Triple-A on May 18, Rivas slashed .154/.436/.154 over eight games with Tacoma before hitting the shelf. Once Rivas gets healthy, he could get another look with Seattle as a utility infielder later this summer.
Brennen Davis
Brennen Davis On 7-day IL due to hamstring injury
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 11:34 AM
Triple-A Tacoma placed Davis on its 7-day injured list June 2 due to a left hamstring strain, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: Injuries have been a constant stumbling block for Davis throughout his minor-league career, but the 26-year-old outfielder was able to earn a spot on Seattle's 40-man roster on May 18 after a hot start to the season at Tacoma. Davis went down with the hamstring strain just over two weeks later, but assuming the injury doesn't prove to be a long-term setback, he'll have a shot at making his big-league debut later on this season. He's thus far put together a .265/.376/.512 slash line with nine home runs and one stolen base over 205 plate appearances while striking out at a manageable 22.4 percent clip.
Emerson Hancock
Emerson Hancock Part of piggyback plan Saturday
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 11:21 AM
Hancock will be used out of the bullpen in Saturday's game in Cleveland as part of the latter half of a piggyback arrangement with starter Logan Gilbert, Cameron Van Til of 710 AM Seattle Sports reports.
Analysis: Manager Dan Wilson announced last week that the Mariners would maintain a five-man rotation through the All-Star break but keep all six of their starters involved by using two in a piggyback arrangement every sixth game. After Bryce Miller and Luis Castillo worked in tandem last Friday versus Boston, Gilbert and Hancock will be paired together this weekend. Assuming their usage mimics that of Miller and Castillo from last week, Gilbert will likely cover around five innings and 70-to-80 pitches, while Hancock steps in to handle the final four frames. The setup will likely lessen Hancock's fantasy appeal this week, though managers may have already been leaning toward keeping him on their benches anyway. After submitting a 2.74 ERA and 0.95 WHIP through his first 13 starts, Hancock turned in his worst outings of the season in his last two starts, giving up a combined 11 earned runs on 13 hits and two walks in 9.1 innings while taking losses against the Nationals and Red Sox.
Logan Gilbert
Logan Gilbert Will be piggybacked Saturday
Tue, Jun 23, 2026, 11:14 AM
Gilbert said Tuesday that he'll make his next start Saturday in Cleveland and will be piggybacked by Emerson Hancock in the game, Cameron Van Til of 710 AM Seattle Sports reports.
Assuming their usage mimics that of Miller and Castillo from last week, Gilbert will likely cover around five innings and 70-to-80 pitches, while Hancock steps in to finish out the game. Though Gilbert's workload will be suppressed Saturday more than it would be in his typical starts, he'll still be lined up for a win as long as he reaches five innings and departs with a lead.
Randy Arozarena
Randy Arozarena Could return this week
Mon, Jun 22, 2026, 10:14 AM
Arozarena (hamstring) did some baserunning Sunday and could be reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of the Mariners' series opener in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
Analysis: Arozarena has already been cleared to travel with the Mariners for their six-game road trip, but he'll be re-evaluated Monday before the team decides if he's fit to return to action for the series in Pittsburgh. Since Arozarena was placed on the IL last Tuesday, Victor Robles has stepped in as his primary replacement in left field.
Andres Munoz
Andres Munoz Secures 13th save
Sun, Jun 21, 2026, 10:05 PM
Munoz picked up the save in Sunday's 3-1 victory over the Red Sox. He allowed a hit and no walks while striking out two over a scoreless inning.
Analysis: Munoz had little trouble finishing off the Red Sox, working past a one-out single from Mickey Gasper by striking out Willson Contreras and Jarren Duran to secure his 13th save of the season. It has been an uneven season for the well-regarded closer, as he owns a 5.27 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB with five blown saves across 27.1 innings (30 appearances). Munoz has gotten the job done of late, though, converting saves in each of his three most recent outings with no runs allowed.
Logan Gilbert
Logan Gilbert Earns sixth win
Sun, Jun 21, 2026, 10:01 PM
Gilbert (6-4) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over 6.1 innings against the Red Sox. He struck out eight.
Analysis: Gilbert was in control throughout the outing, with his lone blemish coming on a Nate Eaton solo homer in the third inning. The big right-hander has punched out at least eight batters in three of his past four starts and reached the 100-strikeout mark in Sunday's win. Gilbert will take a 3.29 ERA and 1.01 WHIP across 93 innings (16 starts) into his next outing, which is lined up for next weekend against the Guardians.
Dominic Canzone
Dominic Canzone Dealing with hamstring injury
Sun, Jun 21, 2026, 6:18 PM
Canzone suffered a right hamstring injury during Sunday's 3-1 win over the Red Sox, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Analysis: Canzone exited the contest in the bottom of the sixth frame after busting it down the line on the groundout. The 28-year-old grasped at his right leg after hustling to first base, and it is now understood to be a hamstring injury. Canzone will travel with the team to Pittsburgh before Seattle will open a three-game series against the Pirates on Tuesday, and he is considered day-to-day for the time being.
Dominic Canzone
Dominic Canzone Departs with injury Sunday
Sun, Jun 21, 2026, 4:52 PM
Canzone exited Sunday's contest against the Red Sox in the sixth inning due to a right leg injury, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Analysis: Canzone pulled up lame after producing an RBI-groundout in the bottom of the sixth inning, grabbing at the back of his right leg before departing with the training staff. His day has come to a premature end having gone 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI. Luke Raley has taken over in right field against Boston.
