Secures four stops against Kansas City
Tue, Oct 27, 2026, 8:01 PM
Emmanwori registered four tackles (two solo) Sunday in a 20-3 Week 7 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Emmanwori was dealing with a hip injury heading into the weekend, but he was able to suit up and logged every one of Seattle's defensive snaps. Though he logged a modest four stops, Emmanwori was part of a dominant defensive effort by Seattle. Overall, Emmanwori has registered 27 tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and one defensed pass through six contests on the campaign.
Leads Seattle with nine stops in Week 7 win
Tue, Oct 27, 2026, 7:54 PM
Jones notched nine tackles (five solo) Sunday in a 20-3 win against Kansas City.
Analysis: Jones had a three-game streak of recording at least one sack snapped, but he remained highly productive. The veteran linebacker has now tallied exactly nine tackles in three straight games and has posted at least eight stops in each of his seven contests this season. Overall, Jones is tied for third in the NFL with 68 tackles through seven games.
Shipped to Seattle

The Seahawks acquired Nelson from the Colts on Tuesday in exchange for a 2027 third-round draft pick and a 2028 fifth-round draft pick, Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport of ESPN report.
Analysis: After a 2-5 start to the season, the Colts already found themselves on the periphery of the AFC playoff picture and opted to cash out on the eight-time Pro Bowl left guard before he became an unrestricted free agent this offseason. In Seattle, Nelson will join 2025 first-round pick Grey Zabel to form one of the NFL's better guard tandems. The Seahawks are hoping that the addition of Nelson can help open up more running room for a ground attack that has averaged just 3.9 yards per carry through the first seven weeks of the season.
George Holani
George Holani Six touches against Kansas City
Mon, Oct 26, 2026, 8:00 PM
Holani turned five carries into 11 yards and caught one of two passes for 12 yards during the Seahawks' 20-3 win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: All five of Holani's carries came in the first half, but he didn't record a rush over the final two quarters as Emanuel Wilson dominated the Seahawks' backfield to finish with 100 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. Holani has logged five carries in three of his last four games, but he would likely be demoted to RB3 duties against the Bears in Week 8 if Zach Charbonnet (knee) is cleared play in that contest.
Cooper Kupp
Cooper Kupp Hauls in both targets in Week 7 win
Mon, Oct 26, 2026, 7:48 PM
Kupp caught both of his targets for 20 yards in a 20-3 win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: Kupp entered Sunday's contest on the heels of a 10-target performance against the Broncos in Week 6. However, the veteran wideout saw only two looks from Sam Darnold, with the veteran quarterback relying heavily on favorite target Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who finished with a 9-150-1 receiving line on 12 targets. Kupp has logged three targets or fewer in five of seven regular-season games, though he could see a slight bump in opportunities if Rashid Shaheed (knee) is unable to play against the Bears in Week 8.
Tory Horton
Tory Horton Only one target against Kansas City
Mon, Oct 26, 2026, 7:41 PM
Horton failed to haul in his lone target and returned two kickoffs for 60 yards during the Seahawks' 20-3 win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
Analysis: Horton's 31 offensive snaps were third-most among Seahawks wide receivers behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba (53) and Cooper Kupp (45). 17 of Sam Darnold's 28 pass attempts went to Smith-Njigba (12) and tight end AJ Barner (five), with Horton and the rest of Seattle's pass catchers serving in complementary roles. The Seahawks' offense revolves around Smith-Njigba, so most of Horton's work will come on special teams, although the latter could see an uptick in opportunities if Rashid Shaheed (knee) cannot play against the Bears in Week 8.
Expected to miss time
Mon, Oct 26, 2026, 4:41 PM
Cross underwent an MRI and was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Cross suffered the injury during Sunday's win over the Chiefs. While an official return date hasn't been established, there is hope he can get back on the field in "one or two weeks." With Cross on the shelf, Josh Jones is the favorite to start in Week 8 versus Chicago and beyond.
Rashid Shaheed
Rashid Shaheed Avoids worst-case knee issue
Mon, Oct 26, 2026, 12:09 PM
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that the early returns on Shaheed's knee injury are positive, Brady Henderson reports.
Analysis: Shaheed logged 22 snaps and caught two of his three targets for one yard before exiting Sunday's 20-3 win over the Chiefs. While Macdonald's initial assessment of the wideout's knee issue is encouraging, Shaheed's status will nonetheless be worth monitoring as next Monday's game against the Bears approaches.
Jadarian Price
Jadarian Price Return to practice on tap in Week 8
Mon, Oct 26, 2026, 11:59 AM
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Price (chest) will be designated for return from injured reserve during Week 8, Gregg Bell of Sports Radio 93.3 KJR Seattle reports.
Analysis: Seattle will likely make the transaction official Thursday, when the team will hold its first practice ahead of next Monday's game against the Bears. Since the Seahawks will have a 21-day window to evaluate Price before they would need to reinstate him from IR, Macdonald acknowledged that a decision on the running back's status for Monday's contest likely won't be made until the end of the week. Whenever he's activated, Price could be part of a backfield committee backfield with Zach Charbonnet (knee) -- who appears to be trending toward making his 2026 debut versus Chicago -- and potentially Emanuel Wilson and George Holani.
Jason Myers
Jason Myers Coverts two field goals in win
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 10:53 PM
Myers went 2-for-2 on field-goal tries and made both of his PATs during Sunday night's 20-3 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Myers was able to make multiple field goals for the third straight game, converting a 25-yarder in the second quarter before later adding a 35-yard make in the second half. The kicker has now gone 14-for-15 on field-goal tries, including 3-for-3 from 50-plus yards, over the first seven games of the 2026 campaign.
Sam Darnold
Sam Darnold One TD, one INT in comfortable win
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 10:52 PM
Darnold completed 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Chiefs. He added two rushing attempts for 17 yards.
Analysis: Darnold threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the second quarter to give the Seahawks a 10-0 lead, but Darnold's end-zone interception from the 3-yard line in the final minute of the first half allowed the Chiefs to stay within striking distance. Seattle's dominant defense made sure Darnold's eighth interception in five starts since returning from a glute injury wouldn't prove too costly. He has matched that interception total with eight touchdown passes over that span. Darnold and the 4-3 Seahawks will play at home in primetime again Week 8, hosting the Bears on MNF.
AJ Barner
AJ Barner Four catches during SNF
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 10:47 PM
Barner caught four of five targets for 42 yards while also adding three rushes for four yards during Sunday night's 20-3 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Barner finished second on the team in both receptions and receiving yards behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The tight's four catches and 42 yards were his highest totals since he reeled in five passes for 69 yards in Week 3 against Washington. Additionally, Barner was able to rush for three first downs on Sunday night. On the year, the tight end has caught 19 of 29 targets for 180 yards while he's also added four carries for five yards and a touchdown over seven contests.
Emanuel Wilson
Emanuel Wilson Rumbles for 100 yards, TD
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 10:37 PM
Wilson rushed 24 times for 100 yards and a touchdown while catching his lone target for 15 yards in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: Wilson recorded the second 100-yard rushing performance of his career, having accomplished that feat in Week 12 of last season with the Packers. He put the game away with a 21-yard rushing touchdown with 3:47 remaining in the fourth quarter. That was his third touchdown run in the past four games, during which Wilson has racked up 294 rushing yards on 79 carries (3.7 YPC), covering for lackluster efficiency with heavy rushing volume. He could face a significant influx of competition for carries as soon as Week 8 against the Bears, as Jadarian price (chest) will be eligible to return from IR while Zach Charbonnet (knee), who was inactive Sunday, could make his season debut after being activated from the reserve/PUP list Thursday.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Racks up 150 rec yards, TD in Week 7
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 10:35 PM
Smith-Njigba caught nine of 12 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown while rushing twice for 13 yards in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Chiefs.
Analysis: After leading the league in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns through Week 6, Smith-Njigba picked up the pace with a season-high 163 scrimmage yards Sunday night. JSN scored his eighth touchdown of the season on a 28-yard catch in the second quarter, with four apiece having been thrown by Sam Darnold and Drew Lock. Smith-Njigba became the sixth player in NFL history to reach 100 receiving yards in six of his team's first seven regular-season games. He led the league in receiving yards last regular season and is showing no signs of slowing down heading into a Week 8 home game against the Bears on MNF.
Injures ankle against Kansas City
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 10:18 PM
Cross exited Sunday night's game against the Chiefs with an ankle injury and did not return.
Analysis: With Cross out, veteran Josh Jones took over at left tackle for Seattle. Cross will have an extra day to try and get ready for next Monday night's game against the Bears.
Velus Jones Jr.
Velus Jones Jr. Done for night
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 9:57 PM
Jones (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday night's contest against the Chiefs.
Analysis: Jones left the game in the second half with a hamstring injury, and he will now be forced to miss the final stretch. In his absence, George Holani and Emanuel Wilson are Seattle's only healthy options in the backfield.
Rashid Shaheed
Rashid Shaheed Ruled out for remainder of SNF
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 9:50 PM
Shaheed (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
Analysis: Shaheed didn't return after halftime due to a knee injury. The wide receiver and standout special teams return man will have an extra day to recover before the Seahawks face the Bears on MNF in Week 8.
Rashid Shaheed
Rashid Shaheed Questionable to return for second half
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 9:13 PM
Shaheed (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Curtis Crabtree of FOX 13 Seattle reports.
Analysis: Shaheed didn't come out for the second half, as Tory Horton returned the second-half kickoff in Shaheed's stead. Prior to getting hurt, Shaheed caught two of three targets for one yard while adding a 32-yard punt return.
Active for SNF
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 6:12 PM
Nwosu (hip) is active for Sunday Night Football versus Kansas City.
Analysis: Nwosu is good to go for Week 7, as expected. The linebacker failed to record a tackle for the first time this season in the team's Week 6 loss to the Broncos, and he figures to have plenty of chances to get back on track against the Chiefs.
Good to go for SNF
Sun, Oct 25, 2026, 6:08 PM
Emmanwori (hip) is active for Sunday night's contest against the Chiefs.
Analysis: Emmanwori was dealing with an apparent hip injury during the team's final practice of the week Friday, but he is now good to go to play in Week 7. The safety has compiled 20 total tackles (15 solo), including 2.0 sacks, while also adding a pass defensed over the last three contests, and he'll have a tough test Sunday night against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City's offense.
