Giants coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that he's "very hopeful" Nabers (knee) will "be back soon," estimating that the wideout has completed 70-to-80 percent of his rehab process, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: It sounds much more optimistic than Harbaugh's quotes from three weeks prior (May 21), when he told reports that Nabers was in the "slog of [his rehab], the grind of it." Harbaugh now estimates that the star wideout is three-fourths of the way through his rehab, which perhaps sounds promising yet still makes Nabers highly unlikely to be ready for the start of training camp. While the Giants have yet to comment on expectations for the regular season, fantasy managers should assume a high level of risk that Nabers isn't ready for Week 1. His injury entailed a a meniscus tear in addition to an ACL tear, and he had a procedure in April to remove scar tissue that formed after the initial surgery (Oct. 28). |

Analysis: Skattebo, who said in mid-May that he expects to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season, is roughly eight months removed from the dislocated right ankle that limited him to eight games as a rookie. While it doesn't yet appear that the 2025 fourth-round pick has been cleared for full team drills, it's encouraging to see him demonstrate lateral quickness in on-field individual drills. The Giants may be targeting training camp in July as the next major step forward in Skattebo's recovery. |

Robertson-Harris was not placed on the Giants' injured reserve list after tearing his Achilles at practice in May, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.

In 17 regular-season games with the Chiefs in 2025, Smith-Schuster put up a 33-345-1 line on 45 targets, and with New York, the 29-year-old will have an opportunity to compete with Darius Slayton (abdomen) , Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin, Malachi Fields, Isaiah Hodgins and Beckham for targets that don't go Nabers' way. |

Beckham is slated to sign a one-year contract with the Giants after working out with the team Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Beckham will return to New York and compete for a depth role at wide receiver alongside Calvin Austin, Malachi Fields and Isaiah Hodgins, with Darius Slayton (abdomen) and Darnell Mooney being the top candidates to join Malik Nabers (ACL) in three-wide sets. The 33-year-old veteran played for the Giants from 2014-18 and has since logged stints with the Browns, Rams, Ravens and Dolphins. Beckham's last regular-season action came in 2024 with Miami, when he was limited to nine catches for 55 yards across as many appearances. Beckham doesn't boast the skill set to fill the void on special teams left by Gunner Olszewski's season-ending Achilles injury, though to that end Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that New York also plans to sign Braxton Berrios. |

Olszewski is believed to have suffered a torn Achilles at Friday's OTAs practice, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Olszewski went down with a non-contact injury as he was coming off the line to run a route, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. He'll undergo further testing to confirm the diagnosis, but a torn Achilles would certainly knock Olszewski out for the 2026 regular season. In 16 regular-season games with the Giants last season, Olszewski caught 10 of 13 targets for 145 yards and one touchdown. He also handled primary returner duties for New York. |

Analysis: With Robertson-Harris presumably out for most or all of the 2026 season, New York will need more snaps out of veteran signings DJ Reader and Shelby Harris or youngsters Darius Alexander and Bobby Jamison-Travis. The team traded star DT Dexter Lawrence to Cincinnati earlier this offseason, leaving new defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson without a clear standout on the interior line. The Giants are counting on edge rushers Brian Burns, Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux to provide the vast majority of sacks and pressures this season. Robertson-Harris has just 19.0 sacks in 134 regular-season games, but he's made 79 starts, including 17 last year in New York. |
