Cameron Boozer records 16/6/2 line vs. Magic
Wed, Oct 7, 2026, 4:41 PM
Cameron Boozer amassed 16 points (4-of-7 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), six rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Magic in preseason action.
Analysis: Boozer, the third-overall pick from the 2026 NBA Draft, projects as an instantly impactful fantasy contributor in redraft leagues thanks to his unique playmaking ability and all-around skillset. The 19-year-old forward does a little bit of everything from an offensive standpoint as he's adept at using his size to attack the basket, while also being able to knock down a handful of three-pointers. He's a phenomenal passer and should be a factor in the rebounding department as well. Simply put, Boozer looks like the type of foundational player that Memphis should be able to rebuild around for years to come. He's a mid-round selection with plenty of upside as a high-volume all-around contributor in redraft leagues.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey collects four rebounds in 10 minutes
Wed, Oct 7, 2026, 4:38 PM
Zach Edey contributed two points (1-of-1 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 10 minutes against the Magic in preseason action on We
Analysis: Edey made his preseason debut in this one and managed to pile up four rebounds in a statsheet-stuffing performance that lasted just 10 minutes. The 24-year-old center is one of the more challenging big men to forecast for fantasy purposes because he's shown some flashes of immense all-around potential as an impact interior defender with significant offensive upside. He was limited to just 11 games last year due to lingering left ankle issues that ultimately required season-ending surgery. It's unrealistic to count on Edey from a volume standpoint, but even a moderately healthy campaign would make him easily worthy of an early-round pick as a top-60 range selection in fantasy drafts this fall.
Isaiah Stewart
Isaiah Stewart (ankle) injured in Grizzlies debut
Mon, Oct 5, 2026, 5:13 PM
Memphis Grizzlies
Isaiah Stewart (ankle) finished Monday's exhibition against the Hawks with one rebound.
Analysis: Stewart, acquired from the Pistons in late June, played just two minutes on Monday before exiting wth a left ankle injury. The forward/center landed awkwardly after attempting to block a shot and did not return. With Zach Edey still out, Quinten Post (eight points, four rebounds and two three-pointers) would have added fantasy value if neither is available when the regular season begins. Post started Monday's game and logged 12 minutes.

Cameron Boozer drops 11/5/4/2 line vs. Hawks
Mon, Oct 5, 2026, 3:55 PM
Cameron Boozer scored 11 points (5-of-9 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 18 minutes as the Grizzlies beat the Hawks 132-123 in preseason action on Monday.
Analysis: The Grizzlies have ostensibly turned the franchise over to Boozer, the third-overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, after moving on from both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Ja Morant in separate trades over the last few months. There are zero obstacles standing in the way of Boozer blossoming into a high-volume, all-around impact contributor for redraft leagues during his rookie campaign. There's enough talent in his supporting cast to envision a scenario where he thrives as a playmaking facilitator that is also capable of attacking the basket with his size and strength. He certainly looked the part with Memphis rolling out nearly their full lineup with the exception of center Zach Edey in their first exhibition contest.
Ty Jerome
Ty Jerome starts, scores 12 in preseason debut
Mon, Oct 5, 2026, 3:53 PM
Ty Jerome accumulated 12 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five assists and one block over 15 minutes in Monday's preseason win over the Hawks.
Analysis: It's notable that Jerome got the start over Scotty Pippen Jr. during Memphis' preseason opener and he responded by pouring in 10 first-half points on 4-of-8 shooting as Memphis exploded for 82 points in an impressive opening half. It's fair to wonder whether Jerome can build off his initial success with the Grizzlies last year when he averaged 19.7 points while shooting over 42 percent from three-point range after finally making his season debut in late January.
GG Jackson
GG Jackson scores 14 points in preseason contest
Mon, Oct 5, 2026, 3:51 PM
GG Jackson dropped 14 points (5-of-7 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 15 minutes in Monday's preseason win over the Hawks.
Analysis: Jackson erupted for a team-high 12 first-half points off the bench in the opening half and delivered an extremely efficient shooting performance in his preseason debut. He's unlikely to be a focal point for the Grizzlies as they build around a Cedric Coward and Ty Jerome backcourt, but he makes sense as an offensive igniter off the bench capable of scoring in bunches and leading the second unit.
Zach Edey
Zach Edey (ankle) cleared for full-speed activity
Tue, Sep 29, 2026, 5:11 AM
Michael Wallace
Grizzlies GM Zach Kleiman told reporters C Zach Edey (ankle) is cleared for full-speed activity.
Analysis: Kleiman said Edey could be ready for the start of the regular season. After having season-ending ankle surgery in March, Edey is right where he needs to be in his rehab, according to Kleiman. It doesn't sound like the 24-year-old center will miss too much time, making Edey a worthwhile selection in the fifth-round of fantasy drafts.
Jordan Hawkins
Shams: Jordan Hawkins traded to Grizzlies
Tue, Sep 8, 2026, 3:29 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that the Pelicans traded Jordan Hawkins, Micah Peavy and multiple second-round picks to the Grizzlies for AJ Johnson and Taj Gibson.
Analysis: The 14th overall pick in the 2023 draft, Hawkins couldn't carve out a consistent role for himself over three seasons with the Pelicans. The 2024-25 campaign was his most productive, with the 6-foot-5 guard averaging 10.8 points per game. However, Hawkins couldn't build on that output, averaging 5.1 points per game last season and falling further down the pecking order in the backcourt. A move to Memphis gives Hawkins a fresh start, but it is unlikely to do much for his short-term fantasy value.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Shams: Caldwell-Pope plans to sign with 76ers
Sat, Jul 25, 2026, 11:42 AM
Shams Charania
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope plans to sign a one-year contract with the 76ers once he clears waivers.
Analysis: Less than 24 hours after it was reported that Caldwell-Pope and the Grizzlies were negotiating a contract buyout, the veteran wing has been waived. Unless another team decides to file a claim, KCP will be headed to Philadelphia on a one-year, $3.9 million deal. Caldwell-Pope appeared in a career-low 51 games last season, as a finger injury ended his 2025-26 campaign just after the All-Star break. He can provide three-point shooting and wing defense in Philadelphia, but KCP is unlikely to be in a position where fantasy managers can rely on him for value.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Haynes: KCP, Memphis negotiating contract buyout
Fri, Jul 24, 2026, 6:19 PM
Chris Haynes
NBA insider Chris Haynes reports that the Grizzlies and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are working on a buyout, with KCP intending to sign with the 76ers.
Analysis: The report comes after LeBron James' decision to sign with the 76ers as a free agent. With Caldwell-Pope potentially heading to Philadelphia after being bought out of Memphis, he'd team up with James, with whom he won an NBA championship back in 2020. The 13-year veteran averaged 8.4 points and shot just 31.6 percent from beyond the arc last season in Memphis.
D'Angelo Russell
Report: MEM, Russell working toward new home
Wed, Jul 22, 2026, 2:44 PM
Yahoo! Sports
Yahoo! Sports' Kelly Iko reports that the Grizzlies and D'Angelo Russell are working together to find the veteran guard a new home.
Analysis: Russell did not play at all after being traded to the Wizards at the February deadline, and he was sent to Memphis as part of a six-team deal in early July. Even with the Grizzlies trading Ja Morant to Portland, D'Lo is not in the team's plans moving forward. As a result, the two sides are reportedly working together to find Russell a new home, either through a trade or a contract buyout. Russell is entering the final year of a contract that will pay him slightly less than $6 million. While a capable player, D'Lo is unlikely to land in a situation where he can be fantasy-relevant next season.

Cameron Boozer has 19/8/4 line in loss to GSW
Sun, Jul 19, 2026, 5:27 PM
Cameron Boozer totaled 19 points (7-of-17 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Sunday's summer league championship loss to the Warriors.
Analysis: Boozer bounced back from a rough shooting performance to tie a team high in points on Sunday. He drained three triples and was solid on the boards, yet again. The No. 3 overall pick had a strong summer overall and is in line to be one of Memphis' featured players this upcoming season. He's got a lot of room for growth and development, but should still be a reliable contributor in fantasy leagues as a rookie.

Cameron Boozer corrals 12 rebounds vs. Houston
Sat, Jul 18, 2026, 2:35 PM
Cameron Boozer recorded 12 points (3-of-13 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Saturday's win over the Rockets.
Analysis: One game removed from scoring 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting, Boozer didn't have the best day shooting the basketball against the Rockets. However, he found other ways to add value, most notably as a rebounder and facilitator. Viewed by some as a player who possesses the highest floor in this summer's draft class, that label may be selling Boozer's ceiling short. His ability to affect games as a scorer, rebounder and facilitator makes him one of the top fantasy rookies, and the defense should not be overlooked, either.

Cameron Boozer finishes rout with game-high 24
Thu, Jul 16, 2026, 4:13 PM
Cameron Boozer amassed 24 points (10-of-13 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Thursday's win over the Hawks.
Analysis: Boozer and the Grizzlies needed a big win to clinch a spot in Saturday's semifinals, and they understood the assignment from the opening tip. Memphis led 32-2 and never looked back, going on to win 96-64. Boozer made things look easy for himself against the shorthanded Hawks, scoring on all three levels and also doing some facilitating. With Memphis now in the semifinals, any thoughts about a potential shutdown for Boozer and the other summer Grizzlies who are guaranteed roles for next season can be put to rest.

Cameron Boozer posts 12 points, three steals
Tue, Jul 14, 2026, 3:09 PM
Cameron Boozer tallied 12 points (4-of-12 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and one three-pointer in Tuesday's win over the Warriors.
Analysis: Boozer didn't have the best day shooting the basketball, but that doesn't matter much when seven Grizzlies reach double figures in a 106-85 victory. Also, the third overall pick does not need to score to provide fantasy value, as evidenced by the rebounds, assists and steals. The Grizzlies play their fourth game in Las Vegas on Thursday, and it's fair to wonder if Boozer will be shut down. Counting Salt Lake City, he has played a lot of basketball over the last two weeks, and there doesn't seem to be much that the Grizzlies haven't seen from their lottery pick.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper
Olivier-Maxence Prosper knocks down four triples
Mon, Jul 13, 2026, 3:34 PM
Olivier-Maxence Prosper accounted for 18 points (7-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and four three-pointers in Monday's loss to the Mavericks.
Analysis: With the Grizzlies exercising their option on his contract for the 2026-27 season, Prosper's NBA future in the short term is far more secure than it was when he joined the franchise on a two-way deal last September. As a result, there may be opportunities for him to earn rotation minutes next season, especially with the Grizzlies moving Santi Aldama. Prosper shot 40.5 percent from three on 2.8 attempts per game last season, and he has been a more willing perimeter shooter this summer. If he can carry the progress into the 2026-27 campaign, there may be moments when O-Max is a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues.

Cameron Boozer scores team-high 21 points vs. DAL
Mon, Jul 13, 2026, 3:23 PM
Cameron Boozer finished Monday's loss to the Mavericks with 21 points (7-of-17 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and two three-pointers.
Analysis: Boozer did not shoot the ball as accurately as he did in Friday's win over the Bulls, but he had another productive day at the office. The rookie forward's stat line was missing only a blocked shot, with a 2-of-8 effort from deep accounting for the low field-goal percentage. Boozer played well in Salt Lake City and he's carried that over to Las Vegas. Given the amount of basketball that he's played, the third overall pick in last month's draft may be a prime shutdown candidate for the rest of this week.
Taylor Hendricks
Taylor Hendricks rejects four shots vs. Chicago
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 4:36 PM
Taylor Hendricks produced 10 points (3-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, one assist and four blocks in Friday's win over the Bulls.
Analysis: While he didn't offer much offensively on Friday, the Grizzlies had to be encouraged by Hendricks' four blocked shots. And the defensive end of the floor is where he may prove most valuable once the regular season begins. With Jaren Jackson Jr. no longer in the picture, getting shot-blocking from Hendricks and the offseason acquisition Isaiah Stewart would help offset Trip's February exit.

Cameron Boozer scores team-high 23 points vs. CHI
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 4:20 PM
Cameron Boozer recorded 23 points (7-of-12 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Friday's win over the Bulls.
Analysis: Chicago's Caleb Wilson may have stolen the show in the matchup of the top-5 draft picks, but Boozer had an excellent game in his own right. The rookie forward led five Grizzlies starters in double figures, with the lone negative being his four turnovers. They haven't shared the floor in an official game yet, but Boozer already appears to have established good chemistry with Cedric Coward, which bodes well for the Grizzlies moving forward. Since Boozer also played in Salt Lake City, he may not play every game in Las Vegas.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper
Prosper offers another solid performance Monday
Mon, Jul 6, 2026, 5:28 PM
Olivier-Maxence Prosper shot 5-of-11 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Monday's loss to the Jazz, finishing with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers.
Analysis: Given the glut of power forwards on Memphis' roster, especially after the team selected Cameron Boozer and Karim Lopez in last month's draft, these summer games are critical for Prosper as he looks to lock down consistent rotation minutes. He shot a respectable 3-of-8 from beyond the arc on Monday and was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. In a perfect world for the Grizzlies, Prosper will play well enough during the summer that the team will decide to shut him down while in Las Vegas.
