Notches 12 takedowns in victory
Thu, Nov 5, 2026, 8:52 PM
Dean recorded 12 total tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 38-33 victory against the Jets.
Analysis: Dean was able to notch exactly 12 stops for the fourth game in a row and fifth time this season. The linebacker is out to a great start to his first campaign in Las Vegas, registering 80 total tackles (38 solo), including 1.5 sacks, while also adding an interception and three forced fumbles over eight contests so far.
Double-digit stops in win
Thu, Nov 5, 2026, 8:46 PM
Chinn recorded 10 total tackles (four solo) and an interception during Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Chinn had quite a day in Week 8, finishing second on the team in takedowns while also jumping in front of a deep ball from Jets quarterback Geno Smith for the safety's first interception of the year. Chinn has now compiled 56 total tackles (38 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and an interception over eight contests so far during the 2026 campaign.
Cody White
Cody White Back with Las Vegas
Thu, Nov 5, 2026, 6:36 PM
White was signed by the Raiders on Thursday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: White was released by the team Tuesday to make room for Carter Runyon (foot), who was activated off injured reserve. With Runyon now waived and potentially joining the Raiders' practice squad, White was re-signed. To date, the 27-year-old has had the best season of his career, amassing eight catches (19 targets) for 112 yards and three touchdowns.
Dont'e Thornton Jr.
Dont'e Thornton Jr. Limited practice Thursday
Thu, Nov 5, 2026, 6:11 PM
Thornton (back) was a limited participant at the Raiders' practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Thornton was added to the injury report with an apparent back injury after opening the week as a full participant Wednesday. The fact that the wide receiver was able to practice in any capacity is a positive sign, but he will have one more chance to log a full practice before Sunday's matchup with the 49ers.
Carter Runyon
Carter Runyon Gets activated from IR
Wed, Nov 4, 2026, 8:04 PM
The Raiders activated Runyon (foot) from their injured reserve list Wednesday, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Runyon has been on Las Vegas' injured reserve list since August with a foot injury, but it looks like he's finally on track to make his 2026 regular-season debut in Week 9. Over 13 games in 2025, the vast majority of his snaps came on special teams.
Mike Washington Jr.
Mike Washington Jr. Workload breakdown a 'week-to-week' decision
Wed, Nov 4, 2026, 4:11 PM
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said Wednesday that the breakdown in carries between Washington and Ashton Jeanty will be determined on a week-to-week basis, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com, Kubiak said that he "absolutely" believes that Jeanty can be a bell cow running back, but at least for the time being, he looks like he'll be part of a timeshare with Washington. Jeanty has seen his carry count drop or hold steady in each successive game since Week 1, culminating in the 2025 first-round pick logging just two carries in this past Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets, while Washington carried a career-high 25 times for 83 yards. The split in carries may not be quite as dramatic in weeks to come, but Washington appears to have earned himself a sizable piece of the pie while he's averaging 4.3 yards per tote to Jeanty's 3.1 mark through eight games. Jeanty remains the Raiders' clear cut top option on passing downs over Washington, who has recorded just three receptions for 11 yards on six targets so far this season.
Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty Workload to be decided on week-to-week basis
Wed, Nov 4, 2026, 3:36 PM
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak said Wednesday that the breakdown in carries between Jeanty and Mike Washington will be determined on a week-to-week basis, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Jeanty is averaging just 3.1 yards per tote on the season and has seen his carry count gradually decline with each successive game. After rushing a season-high 23 times in a Week 1 win over the Dolphins, Jeanty logged just two carries (for nine yards) in this past Sunday's win over the Jets, while Washington handled 25 carries (for 83 yards). According to McFadden, Kubiak said that he believes Jeanty can "absolutely" be a bell cow running back, but the second-year player out of Boise State looks like he'll be part of a timeshare with Washington until his production on the ground improves. Jeanty is still locked in as the Raiders' clear top back on passing downs, as he ranks first or tied for first with all NFL running backs in targets (49), receptions (37) and receiving yards (376) and receiving touchdowns (three).
Jack Bech
Jack Bech Gets no targets in return
Tue, Nov 3, 2026, 9:21 PM
Bech finished without a target or touch in Sunday's 38-33 Week 8 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Bech returned from a four-game absence due to a forearm injury and logged a 40 percent offensive snap share, but he didn't get any looks from QB Kirk Cousins. In fact, Cousins didn't go to his wideout corps as a whole very often -- 16 of his 26 targets went to tight ends, and another four went to running back Ashton Jeanty. Bech will look to get back into the box score Sunday in a Week 9 matchup in San Francisco.
Fernando Mendoza
Fernando Mendoza Doesn't see field in Week 8
Mon, Nov 2, 2026, 8:56 PM
Mendoza didn't play in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: With Kirk Cousins helping orchestrate a second-half comeback, Mendoza stayed glued to the sideline for the third straight contest after playing 10 offensive snaps in Week 5 against New England. The Raiders are 4-4 with Cousins playing reasonably well to keep the team in the postseason mix. Mendoza figures to get his shot if/when the Raiders are eliminated from postseason contention.
Matt Gay
Matt Gay Perfect in close win
Mon, Nov 2, 2026, 7:58 PM
Gay converted his sole field-goal attempt and all five PATs in the Raiders' 38-33 win over the Jets on Sunday.
Analysis: Gay converted a 53-yard field goal with 27 seconds remaining in the contest to put the Raiders up five points. The kicker is now 18-for-20 on field-goal attempts and a perfect 19-for-19 on PATs over eight regular-season games in 2026.
Tre Tucker
Tre Tucker Held catchless by Jets
Mon, Nov 2, 2026, 6:38 PM
Tucker did not catch his only target Sunday in the Raiders' 38-33 Week 8 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Despite quarterback Kirk Cousins throwing for 247 yards, Tucker had only one ball thrown his way. In fact, only one Raiders wideout -- Jalen Nailor -- had a reception, as Cousins targeted tight ends on 16 of his 26 passes. Tucker had caught either four or five passes in each of his prior six games and had collected at least 97 receiving yards in three of those contests, though he finished below 45 yards in the other three. It's notable that he logged a season-low 52 percent offensive snap share against the Jets, but he should be in for better days ahead, beginning with a Week 9 matchup in San Francisco.
Michael Mayer
Michael Mayer Five grabs in Week 8 win
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 11:07 PM
Mayer caught five of six targets for 53 yards in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Mayer's six targets were second on the team behind Brock Bowers' 10, and only Bowers (26) ran more routes than Mayer's 20 on Kirk Cousins' 27 dropbacks. The tight end has just one touchdown this season but has remained an integral part of Las Vegas' passing attack. He's already surpassed his 2025 catches and yards totals, posting 36 grabs for 351 yards through eight games this season. Mayer will be a fantasy TE2 for next Sunday's date with the 49ers.
Jalen Nailor
Jalen Nailor Four grabs in win
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 10:11 PM
Nailor caught all four targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Both the catches and yards marked new season highs for Nailor, who entered Sunday with eight grabs for 75 yards and no touchdowns across six games. No team uses its receivers less than the Raiders, and Nailor accounted for four of the five targets between he and Tre Tucker against the Jets. Nailor has minimal fantasy appeal headed into next Sunday's road date with the 49ers.
Mike Washington Jr.
Mike Washington Jr. Career-high 25 carries in Week 8 win
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 4:48 PM
Washington rushed 25 times for 83 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Washington got 25 carries to Ashton Jeanty's two, though Jeanty notched 64 receiving yards on four targets while Washington wasn't involved as a pass catcher. Head coach Klint Kubiak revealed after the game that Jeanty's meager rushing workload was by design, per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com, though Kubiak added that added that Jeanty is "still going to be a big part of our team" moving forward. Sunday marked the first time Washington has notched double-digit carries in a regular-season game. The rookie fourth-round pick is averaging 4.3 yards per carry compared to Jeanty's 3.1 YPC heading into a Week 9 road game against the 49ers.
Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins Four total TDs in Week 8 win
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 3:44 PM
Cousins completed 19 of 26 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets. He added five rushing attempts for three yards and a rushing touchdown.
Analysis: Cousins connected with Brock Bowers for touchdowns of 12 and two yards before scoring on a QB sneak in the third quarter for the 38-year-old QB's first rushing TD of the season and second rushing score since the start of the 2023 regular season. Cousins added a go-ahead two-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Nailor in the fourth quarter to take a 35-30 lead with 11:33 remaining. This was Cousins' fourth three-touchdown passing performance of the season but first since Week 4. All four of those three-TD outings came in Vegas wins, and Cousins has added seven touchdown passes in the Raiders' four losses to bring his TD:INT to 19:5 heading into a Week 9 trip to San Francisco.
Brock Bowers
Brock Bowers Scores twice in Week 8 win
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 3:42 PM
Bowers caught seven of 10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Bowers scored a 12-yard touchdown in the first quarter and added a two-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. He came just short of a third touchdown later in the third quarter, getting tackled just outside the goal line to set up a one-yard Kirk Cousins rushing TD. Bowers became the first tight end in NFL history to record at least 70 receiving yards in six consecutive appearances to begin a season. He'll try to extend his historic streak in Week 9 against the 49ers while continuing to work as the top target for Kirk Cousins.
Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty Gets two carries to Washington's 25
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 3:37 PM
Jeanty rushed twice for nine yards while catching three of four targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 38-33 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Jeanty ceded the vast majority of rushing opportunities to Mike Washington, who rushed 25 times for 83 yards. Most of Jeanty's yardage came on a 45-yard catch on the first play of the fourth quarter. Jeanty has excelled as a pass catcher, and he now has more receiving yards (376) than rushing yards (337) this season. Per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com, head coach Klint Kubiak said after the win that Jeanty getting just two carries was "my call" and added that Jeanty is "still going to be a big part of our team" heading into the Raiders' Week 9 road game against the 49ers. Jeanty added that it was "communicated" to him before the game that he would get fewer carries but stressed that winning is more important to him than his workload.
Won't return vs. NYJ
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 2:32 PM
Porter (groin) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Jets.
Analysis: Porter injured his groin early in the first quarter, and the injury is severe enough that he will be held out for the rest of Sunday's game. Jermod McCoy will continue to operate in an elevated role in the secondary.
Exits Sunday's game against Jets
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 12:28 PM
Porter (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jets.
Analysis: Porter suffered a groin injury on the opening play of the game and headed for the blue medical tent. He has since been declared questionable to return. If Porter can't get back on the field in Week 8, Jermod McCoy could see more action the rest of the way.
Malik Benson
Malik Benson Healthy scratch for Week 8
Sun, Nov 1, 2026, 11:12 AM
Benson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Analysis: The rookie sixth-rounder has suited up for each of the first seven games of the regular season, but with Jack Bech (forearm) cleared to play, Benson will be an observer from the sidelines for Sunday's contest. His next opportunity to suit up is Week 9 against the 49ers on Nov. 8.
