Dohnte Meyers
Dohnte Meyers Two targets vs. Miami
Tue, Oct 13, 2026, 9:47 PM
Meyers brought in both of his targets for 12 yards during the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Meyers entered Sunday on the heels of a huge performance on both offense and special teams during the Bengals' Week 4 loss to the Jaguars, when top pass catchers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins sustained injuries. Chase and Higgins were both cleared to play against Miami and didn't face any restrictions in their respective snap counts, so Meyers reverted to a rotational role and was on the field for only 19 of Cincinnati's 65 offensive snaps (29.2 percent). The Bengals will enjoy their Week 6 bye before hitting the road for Week 7 against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Tanner Hudson
Tanner Hudson Expected to miss rest of season
Tue, Oct 13, 2026, 10:52 AM
Hudson's agent revealed Tuesday that the tight end sustained a torn pectoral in Sunday's 31-24 win over the Dolphins and is expected to miss the rest of the season, Charlie Clifford of WLWT News 5 Cincinnati reports.
Analysis: Hudson will presumably need surgery to address the pec tear and is likely to be placed on injured reserve in the coming days. Though he didn't win a spot on the Bengals' initial 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, Hudson was elevated from the practice squad for two of the team's firs three games before getting signed to the roster Sept. 29. Over his four appearances with Cincinnati, the reserve tight end tallied seven catches for 33 yards and a touchdown on seven targets.
Tanner Hudson
Tanner Hudson Dealing with pec injury
Mon, Oct 12, 2026, 5:03 PM
Hudson suffered a pectoral injury during the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Hudson finished Sunday's game having caught all three of his targets for 14 yards, which included a two-yard touchdown grab late in the second quarter to give the Bengals a 21-7 halftime lead. He played a total of 27 snaps (19 on offense, eight on special teams), and although it's unclear when he picked up the injury, it's severe enough to potentially require a stint on injured reserve. Rookie seventh-rounder Jack Endries would be in line for a larger role if Hudson misses time.
Lands on IR with broken forearm
Mon, Oct 12, 2026, 4:04 PM
The Bengals placed Bozeman on injured reserve Monday due to a fractured forearm, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: The third-year linebacker out of Southern Miss sustained the injury during Sunday's 31-24 win over the Dolphins, and he'll now be sidelined for at least four weeks after landing on IR. Bozeman had suited up in four of the Bengals' first five contests of the season, seeing most of his action on special teams while tallying four tackles.
Evan McPherson
Evan McPherson Nails five kicks against Miami
Mon, Oct 12, 2026, 9:59 AM
McPherson made his lone field-goal attempt and all four of his extra-point tries during the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: McPherson was mostly limited to point-after tries thanks to four touchdown passes by Joe Burrow, but the former connected on a 26-yard chip shot late in the fourth quarter to extend Cincinnati's lead to 31-18. McPherson has attempted only one field goal in each of his last two games, but his scoring floor remains elevated on a week-to-week basis so long as the Bengals' offense under Burrow continues to move the ball down field. Cincinnati is on a bye for Week 6 before welcoming in Baltimore for Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Samaje Perine
Samaje Perine Reaches end zone in victory
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 7:39 PM
Perine rushed 14 times for 68 yards while catching both of his targets for 10 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-24 win over Miami.
Analysis: Perine surprisingly logged one more carry than starting running back Chase Brown (13) in the contest. Additionally, although he saw two fewer targets than Brown, Perine was able to reach paydirt in the second quarter, reeling in a six-yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow. Perine remains a highly valuable handcuff option for fantasy managers with Chase Brown on their rosters. Through five games, the 31-year-old has rushed 27 times for 110 yards while reeling in seven of 10 targets for 61 yards and a score.
Mike Gesicki
Mike Gesicki Maximizes one catch in win
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 6:58 PM
Gesicki brought in one of two targets for a four-yard touchdown in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Gesicki looked like he might be on his way to a big day against one of his former squads when he capped off the Bengals' lightning-fast opening possession with his scoring grab. However, the veteran tight end was a non-factor the rest of the way, posting his second-lowest totals over the first five games across all three categories of his receiving line. Gesicki's week-to-week production can certainly be difficult to trust, but he remains a trusted target of a prolific quarterback in what is still a pass-centric offense.
Tee Higgins
Tee Higgins Two catches in Week 5 win
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 5:11 PM
Higgins brought in two of four targets for 22 yards in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Higgins was able to work through groin and neck injuries to suit up Sunday, but the veteran field-stretching receiver wasn't called on to do much on an afternoon when Joe Burrow threw for a season-low 192 yards. Nevertheless, Higgins seemingly made it through the game unscathed -- albeit with season-low totals across the board -- and he'll now have a Week 6 bye to further recover before a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Chase Brown
Chase Brown Can't do much with 16 touches
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 5:07 PM
Brown rushed 13 times for 39 yards and brought in three of four targets for 21 yards in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
Analysis: As his final numbers corroborate, Brown found efficiency on the ground elusive against a surprisingly game Dolphins defense. The versatile back made a serviceable impact as a complementary option in the passing game, although his lost fumble came after a three-yard reception just past the midway point of the second quarter. Brown also saw Samaje Perine get some significant second-half run and ultimately outpace him by one rush attempt, but the former should remain the lead option in the ground attack coming out of a Week 6 bye in a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Joe Burrow
Joe Burrow Offsets modest yardage with TDs
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 4:58 PM
Burrow completed 23 of 32 passes for 190 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed four times for 10 yards in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Burrow averaged only 5.9 yards per attempt and finished with a season-low passing yardage total, but he offset the modest numbers by throwing a season-high number of touchdown passes. The prolific signal-caller benefited from having both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins available after each carried questionable designations into Sunday, and he connected with Mike Gesicki (four yards), Samaje Perine (six yards), Tanner Hudson (two yards) and Ja'Marr Chase (45 yards) for his quartet of scoring tosses. Burrow spread the ball around to nine different targets overall, and he'll take an 11:3 TD:INT into a Week 7 road matchup against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25, following a Week 6 bye.
Ja'Marr Chase
Ja'Marr Chase One-handed TD in win
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 4:08 PM
Chase brought in six of 10 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 31-24 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Analysis: Chase was ultimately able to clear concussion protocol just before Sunday's game after exiting the Week 4 loss to the Jaguars with the head injury, and he finished as the Bengals' leader in all of receptions, receiving yards and targets against Miami. The star receiver capped off his productive day with a stellar one-handed, contested 45-yard touchdown grab in the waning moments of the third quarter. Chase is up to a 27-289-4 receiving line on the season despite having missed more than a half against Jacksonville, and he'll next tangle with the division-rival Ravens' veteran secondary in a Week 7 road matchup on Sunday, Oct. 25 following a Week 6 bye.
Ruled out with arm injury
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 2:41 PM
Bozeman (arm) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: Bozeman injured his arm in the fourth quarter of Sunday's contest and was promptly ruled out. Joe Giles-Harris is now the only reserve option at linebacker for the Bengals' defense.
Active in Week 5
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 11:49 AM
Bozeman (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: Bozeman logged limited participation in practice Thursday and upgraded to full participation by the end of the week, Friday. The 27-year-old will add depth behind Barrett Carter at linebacker.
Returning in Week 5
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 11:47 AM
Cook (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against Miami.
Analysis: Cook didn't play in Week 4 against Jacksonville but will return Sunday versus Miami, likely resulting in fewer defensive snaps for PJ Jules.
Colbie Young
Colbie Young Ruled out against Miami
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 11:42 AM
Young (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Dolphins.
Analysis: Young will miss a second consecutive contest. However, with Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin/neck) active, Young likely wouldn't have seen much attention from Joe Burrow even if he were available.
Tee Higgins
Tee Higgins Ready to play Sunday
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 10:41 AM
Higgins (groin/neck) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: After exiting last week's loss to Jacksonville due to what the Bengals initially referred to as an adductor injury, Higgins ended up appearing on the team's initial Week 5 injury report as a non-participant on account of groin and neck issues. He remained sidelined for practice Thursday before upgrading to full participation Friday and carrying a questionable tag into the weekend. Higgins apparently checked out fine following his pregame workout and has been given the green light to suit up Sunday along with fellow starting wideout Ja'Marr Chase (concussion), who had also been listed as questionable heading into the day. Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network relays the Bengals plan to monitor Higgins' snap count, but the wideout is still slated to take the field for mostly "meaningful plays," which could suggest he'll be given more frequent breaks from running plays where he would serve as a blocker.
Ja'Marr Chase
Ja'Marr Chase Clears protocol, suiting up Sunday
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 10:40 AM
Chase (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: Forced out early in last Sunday's loss to the Jaguars after sustaining a concussion, Chase was a spectator for the Bengals' first Week 5 practice Wednesday before upgrading to limited activity Thursday and full participation Friday. He carried a questionable tag into Sunday's contest, but after passing the final stage of the five-step concussion protocol by gaining clearance from an independent neurologist, Chase has been deemed ready to play. Tee Higgins (groin/neck) is also suiting up after being listed as questionable, so quarterback Joe Burrow will have his top two targets available for Week 5.
Tee Higgins
Tee Higgins Slated to suit up Sunday
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 9:45 AM
Higgins (groin/neck) is expected to play Sunday in Miami, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Higgins emerged from Week 4 with adductor and neck injuries and wasn't able to practice at all Wednesday or Thursday, but he ended the week with a full session and entered the weekend listed as questionable to suit up. Fellow WR Ja'Marr Chase similarly was a full participant Friday and listed as questionable for Week 5 action, but he also is in line to be available to the Bengals offense Sunday. The statuses of both players will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
Ja'Marr Chase
Ja'Marr Chase In line to play in Week 5
Sun, Oct 11, 2026, 9:41 AM
Chase (concussion) is slated to play Sunday at Miami, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Analysis: The same goes for fellow WR Tee Higgins (groin/neck) after both endured practice restrictions during Week 5 prep but capped it with full sessions Friday. Chase himself made quick work of the protocol for head injuries after he was ripped to the ground via his facemask last Sunday against the Jaguars. On the season, he boasts a 21-212-3 line on 28 targets in parts of four contests.
Sidelined for second consecutive week
Fri, Oct 9, 2026, 7:16 PM
Dugger (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Dugger has not practiced or played over the last two weeks due to a quadriceps injury, which will prevent him from suiting up for Sunday's road game in Miami. A return to practice would indicate that he's progressing in his recovery, and with the Bengals on a bye for Week 6, his next chance to play is Week 7 against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 25.
