This is the premiere high stakes fantasy baseball event in the industry, now in its 20th season. The NFBC Main Event has a record $200,000 grand prize in 2023 and pays the Top 3 finishers in each league, including $7,000 to the league champ. We have live drafts in Las Vegas and New York, along with Online drafts from March 17-30.

Rotowire Online

Overall Grand Prize
The Rotowire Online Championship is the industry's first national contest at the $350 price point. Now in its 15th season, the OC offers a record $150,000 grand prize and pays the Top 2 finishers in each league, including $1,400 to the league champ. Online drafts are available from December through March 30th. There are also $750 and $1,500 entry price points that will also compete in the overall contest.

Draft Champions

Overall Grand Prize
The NFBC Draft Champions National Championship features 15-team leagues drafting 50 players each with no in-season player pickups. Owners draft a roster of 50 players and then set their starting lineups each week. This contest has entry fees of $150, $400, $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000 with each league paying the Top 3 and everyone competing for the record $40,000 grand prize.

Best Ball Cutline Championship

Overall Grand Prize
The NFBC Cutline Championship is the industry's top national Best Ball Baseball contest. These are 10-team leagues where each owner drafts 42 players and the computer selects their optimal scoring lineup every week. There are only two FAAB periods during the season and there's a survivor playoff format. $175 entry fee, a $350 league prize and a $75,000 grand prize is available.

Auction

Overall Grand Prize
The NFBC now offers the live NFBC Auction Championship with a $30,000 grand prize and the Online Auction Championship with a $10,000 grand prize. Live auctions are held in Las Vegas, New York City and Online at $1,500 per team, while all of the Online Auction Championship leagues are held online at prices starting at $150. 2023 will also see the return of $1,500 AL/NL-only auctions, but only online. We also offer a few other Non-FAAB standalone league auctions.

High Stakes
These are private 12-team or 15-team contests where all of the prize money stays within the league. Entry fees range from $2,500 to $15,000, with top league prizes ranging from $20,000 to $120,000. The Super and Ultimate leagues pay Top 3 within each league, while the Diamond and Platinum leagues pay Top 4.

Best Ball Overall

We are debuting the NFBC Best Ball 12-Team Championship this year with a $10,000 grand prize. Best Ball leagues are optimal scoring contests with no FAAB during the season and no in-season lineup decisions. Once the draft is done your work is done and the computer takes your optimal scoring lineup each week. We use a points scoring system in this format and pay the Top 2 teams in each league and the Top 15 overall.

Diamond Challenge

Overall Grand Prize
The industry's oldest fantasy baseball salary cap national championship returns in 2023 with the NFBC Diamond Challenge Roto and Diamond Challenge Points contests. Put together the best lineup under the designated salary cap and you could win $30,000 in the Roto contest or $15,000 in the Points contest.

NFBC $50s
Free 2025 Main Event Entry
Overall Grand Prize
NFBC $50s are private, 12-team Draft Champions leagues with a top league prize of $50. These are 12-team, 50-round drafts with no Free Agent pickups during the season. What you draft is what you have all year long, although you do set starting lineups each week. The top $50 team among all players wins a FREE 2024 NFBC Main Event entry!

Guillotine
NFBC Guillotine leagues are 15-team, 34-round private leagues that pay the Top 3 in each league. Using a point scoring system, Guillotine teams start 23 players each week and the lowest scoring team after a 2-week period is "chopped" from the contest with all 34 players going back into the player pool. One team is eliminated every two weeks until four teams are left for the money Championship Round.

Qualifiers
The NFBC offers Main Event Qualifiers and Rotowire Online Championship Qualifiers where the league champion in each of those leagues wins a FREE 2024 entry to those events. These are winner-take-all leagues at affordable prices with great prizes. Entry fees are $125 and $50, respectively. So win an NFBC Main Event Qualifier and you earn a FREE 2024 Main Event entry. Win a Rotowire OC Qualifier and you win a FREE 2024 Rotowire OC entry.

Satellite
The NFBC Satellite Leagues are private leagues that pay the Top 3 finishers in each league. There are no overall prizes in this format. These are available in 12-team and 15-team formats and with entry fees ranging from $125 to $500. If you like leagues where all of the prize money stays within the league, then you'll love the NFBC Satellite Leagues.

Keeper Leagues
NFBC Keeper Leagues are 15-team leagues where owners compete for league prizes, while trying to build the best team for the future. Each year, owners can keep five players from the previous season two rounds above where they were drafted the year before. These are private leagues that pay the Top 3 in each league.

Best Ball Double-Ups
Best Ball Double-ups are 12-team contained Points-scoring style leagues where where the Top 5 all double their entry fee. You simply draft 50 players and you are done! With optimal scoring & no in-season FAAB, you draft and enjoy. It's really that simple...yes!

Gladiator

Overall Grand Prize
The Gladiator is not for the faint of heart. It was introduced in 2023 and sold out the 1,500 teams in about a month! Here it is, pure and simple. The ULTIMATE draft and hold...and literally do nothing else. You draft only 23 players (no bench) and that is your team for the entire season. No FAAB, no setting lineups, no nothing. Traditional NFBC 5x5 Rotisserie scoring. $50 to enter...$7,500 overall grand prize in 2023. Are you not entertained?

Post Season

Overall Grand Prize
The NFBC Post-Season Hold 'Em Contest is a national contest that awards the overall champion $20,000. There is no draft and no salary cap. Players just pick a select number of players per MLB playoff team in Round 1 and points accumulate from our Cutline scoring system. Points multiply for players you started with in following rounds and the person with the most points wins the grand prize.

Second Chance
In 2023, The NFBC will offer three in-season draft contests. All contests will be standalone leagues with no overall components. They will start on Monday, June 5th and continue through the rest of the MLB regular season. The $500 and $250 Satellite (12-tm) Second Chance leagues will operate in the same fashion as our normal Satellites. 30-man rosters, weekly FAAB, pay prizes to Top 3. The Gladiator - Second Chance will be a $50 entry with 23-man rosters, 5x5 rotisserie categories, with "only ball" scoring. You draft 23 players and you are done. No in-season moves to be made. Pay Top 3 as well.
